Food is mediocre at best. Ordered the szechaun chicken and had to cook it and chop the veggies up even more at home because there fricken raw. If i order a cooked meal, i expect everything to be cooked. If i wanted raw veggies i wouldve just gone to the store and gotten raw veggies. Idk maybe try cutting them smaller so they actually cook like how they are supposed to! But i guess brain cells arent something you guys care about. Cant even stab any of them with the measly plastic fork yall send because its undercooked asf and to add insult to injury, go to try the wonton soup. And thats crap too. I found the place clean and the food fresh and everything I got tasted good. Staff was friendly and was greeted right away and seated. No complaints for the price it was a good value. It's not fancy or upscale but it delivers a fresh value priced meal. read more

Not good, not good at all. This place was closed for weeks, and now that it reopened, the food is vastly different, not as tasty and lower quality. IDK either way, but I suspect it reopened under new ownership or management. Sadly, I'll need to drive to Duluth for good Chinese food. read more

I've eaten here for lunch several time. Each time the food only have gotten better. I would recommend anything off the menu or enjoy the buffet. This is a family run restaurant. The people are very nice. Give it a try, you won't regret it. read more

Do not eat here. Stay away at all costs. ordered a couple of simple items, sweet and sour chicken and shrimp foo young. Also a couple of egg rolls and and cream cheese wontons. Food was ready on time and warm. That's about the only good. Shrimp Foo Young - only tasted like grease. No flavor or seasoning. The person who ordered it got sick twice in the night. Gravy that it came with was super salty but flat flavor wise. Sweet and sour chicken - Chicken was moit's, but flavorless. No seasoning on the batter or on the chicken. Sweet and sour sauce was flat. roasted pork egg rolls - dry and flavorless. cream cheese wontons - dry and flavorless. I tried to call the restaurant 3 times after I had picked up the order. No answer and no voicemail system to leave a message. Threw away the food, because the smell of it was making us nauseous! Called the next day to speak to the manager, and he was dismissive. Other customers didn't complain, so it wasn't the food. Didn't even ask for money back, and manager offered to refund 1/2, then got combative when trying to lookup the receipt. Very aggressive manager. Will handle the refund through the bank. Was this Covid? No. We ordered pizza and everything tasted as delicious as we expected. Long story short: avoid this restaurant at all costs. Use other local options or even frozen Chinese food from the store. Will never patronize this business again. read more

I have stopped in for take out from Panda Buffet three times in the last month. It is a convenient location for me at times. Service is fairly friendly, and quick. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, too. The food is just not that great. The hot sour soup is thin, and neither hot nor sour. I have eaten a lot of hot and sour soup in my life, and Panda Buffet's was the blandest and had the least amount of "solid ingredients" of any. The cashew chicken has a reasonable flavor and a lot of crunchy cashews, but the only vegetable I could find in it was celery. The celery was well-cooked, not overcooked or slimy, but it was a lot of celery, no broccoli, no onions, no water chestnuts, no bamboo shoots, few carrots. The Mongolian beef was sweeter than I like. It only had white onion and scallions in it. That is not common for vegetables in this dish, but usually there are a handful of crunchy noodles tossed on for texture, nope, not here. That's my lowdown on the food. Take this place for what it is. They seemed to stay pretty busy, so the food should be reasonably fresh. They are in a small town and offer some variety, if you are tired of the rest of the local fare and don't have time to get out of town. read more

It's really good I like the Chicken fried rice it's just perfect and delicious I can eat it for a breakfast lunch and dinner I just love it. For Chinese food in the area, it is great. I love it because not only is the food fresh but the owners and staff are very nice and keep the place clean. As for the food, I find in comforting. It may not be the highest quality I've ever tasted, I was spoiled with food in Japan, I have a variety of dishes I love here. Try the Moo Shu Pork, it's great with rice or placed in the wraps they provide!! read more

The dinner buffet is a bit spendy, being about 8.50 a person, an 3-4 dollars more expensive than the lunch buffet, if you want to save some money, go before 4 pm. The menu prices are quite a bit higher than other Chinese restaurants. But the food is quite good. Their hot tea is wonderful, and the service is great. read more

Quick seating, only restaurant left with cheap sodas-most charge ridiculous amounts beyond the buffet price for beverages and they offer quick refills. Pleasant wait staff and the food is much better than the Chinese restaurant up on the hill in Cloquet. The service and taste is hands down better as well! read more
