Horrible service I waited almost a whole hour for my food when it was supposed to be done an hour and 30 minutes ago, they were talking about how they were ready to leave and that it's just one hour left when they just eye the order they have on their face and can't successfully complete the order on time, horrible ambiance there was water on the floor, no sign, someone could've fallen and that's and easy lawsuit. It's a fast food chain, so I don't expect excellent food or service! I'm just really happy with how quick I got the food and the huge portion size! I got a plate with two entrees and two sides! This place deserves more stars if the number of dine-in and drive-thru customers is any indication for Sun lunch. There was a constant stream of hungry friends and families many I suspect like use make our way east and west on the interstate. There are not many good places too eat close to interstate between Odessa and Weatherford. The staff was very busy and took care of requests quickly. We have eaten here several times in the past and will again next time going along interstate from east/west. read more

Yes, there's a line out the door to order inside and there's a line in the drive thru, but there's no way more people could get more done, because they would be tripping over each other. Ok. They were busy. But expect that on a Friday night. Right? I'll just go ahead and get the bad out of the way first. We were rushed. Plain and simple. The gentleman making our plates had no patience whatsoever. Yes there was a long line. There were cars in drive thru. But guess what! They are going to be there no matter what so you may as well take advantage of the business (because you are blessed enough to have it) and take care of the guests you have. Ok. (And as busy as this place gets you should definitely have someone assigned to constantly cleaning the dining area. Didn't see a single person doing it). The good. My husband and I ordered Panda Express through DoorDash and wouldn't you know it, the door dasher picked up the wrong order. Well one call to panda to see if they had it and they did. We had to ask someone to wipe off the table. There were no utensils or straws available. The floor was nasty. The trash cans were overflowing. I can only imagine what the restroom looked like. Loved my experience here, the staff was super friendly and helpful and my food was great. I got the 2 entree plate with Sweetfire Chicken Breast and Beijing Beef, with chow mein. It was absolutely delicious and at a great price. My receipt included a survey to give feedback and also attain a free entree item on my next visit (love places that do this - they ensure ill be back!) The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the parking lot was quite a disaster. There seems to only be one way in and out and the drive through line of vehicles blocks people trying to enter/exit. It took me at least 10 minutes to leave the parking lot due to waiting for drive through cars to move so that myself and others could slowly squeeze our way out. read more

Well, with all the bad reviews, I still wanted to try this place. First visit, they didn't impress me, but I will try again. I did like the orange chicken, but the other two were only ok( I don't even remember what I got). I didn't try the rice, but the mixed veggies were way undercooked. Hard as a rock. Next time, I'll stick with the orange chicken and try the rice. Abilene has too many Chinese options to serve extremely so-so food. Good luck guys! read more

I love Panda Expresses overall... but this location is too new and not running well. The portion sizes are smaller than I've got at any other location. The noodles were about half of what you get at other locations. There is a new Angus beef dish that they charge $1 extra for, my wife got that as one of her entrees and got 4 pathetic pieces of beef. Workers are too new they all look confused and looking at each other for support with blank looks. The drink machine was out of ice, and napkins and drink lid station was messy. Dining area is small. Drive through set up crap... have to drive to end of parking lot, turn around and then join the end of the line. Very disappointing. NOT by design, but I ended up going to DFW and ate at the Panda Express in Grapevine Mills Mall the very next day and it was much better. If your traveling through Abilene, skip this location for sure.... or at least until its been open a lot longer. read more

Came out on Friday night to see what all the commotion was since it was their grand opening in addition to being the first Chinese 'fast food' in Abilene. I held my expectations high only to be crushed upon our experience. Their serving of Chow Mein was decent, however, their vegetables in two different entrees were as cold as ice on the inside. We had them re-cook the meals for the next 10 minutes as we waited, only to have them come back still barely warm. It seems like no one knows what they're doing in here. Being busy is no excuse for churning out sub-par food, even more so if you've got an army of staff. Seems like the people here blew all their money on the its construction and incompetent workers rather than the food quality. read more
