Sunday 04.05.26 , Terrible experience! I placed my orders (2) bowls in the drive through. Pulled up to pay , after paying the team member said " It's going to take 7 minutes to cook mor Chow Mein. Please pull to the front and we will bring it out to you ." Cool I waited 12 minutes, then called and asked did you forget about me ? The team member replied " Well we are short handed." As I watched them fill orders of walk in customers asap. I then asked to speak to the manager and the person I was speaking to on the phone said " She's going to tell you the same thing. " I repeated "I want to talk to the manager!" When the manager got on the phone 15 minutes had passed and , then I explained to her what was going on , and she apologized and offered to give me a small box entrée to go with my orders. When my orders finally arrived I made sure that were three containers in the bag. Oh, I don't want to leave out this part, when I placed the orders, I specifically asked for the balls to be 50-50 50% noodles chow mein and 50% of the meat. It took me 20 minutes to get home when I opened the bowls, of course they only had 80% chow mein in 20% of the meat and the small container that was supposed to have extra meat., was filled with mushrooms, broccoli, and red peppers only. From the woman that took my payment at the window to the two people I talked to on the phone and the person that brought the food out all had terrible attitudes. Of course took the survey and left a bad review. I was hoping they would call me back and ask more details , but they didn't. read more

This is one of my favorite Chinese fast food but I was really disappointed with the portion today on my 2 entrees & 1side. The Sweet Fire Chicken portion was maybe 3 chicken and the rest was fried dough, I asked the cashier that brought me the food to the table,(because they were cooking the vegetables) that sweet fire chicken portion was very low compared to the Teriyaki was wayyyy off or low, and she said yeah you only get like five pieces. I wish I would have received 5 chicken pieces. Note to: Corporate Panda Express, train your employees for a consistency on your portions, customers are paying good money for the entrees. read more

Don't typically stop in this area, however after a traffic jam I decided to go in. All food was hot and fresh, had great service from Randy particularly. They ran low on one of my items so he made sure to have it made fresh and hand delivered it to my table. Very quick yet professional and polite service. Messed up and ate here again today. I absolutely love Pandas food. There is a really sweet girl at the front that helped me today. Really strong southern twang. Her service awesome. Her Manager today not so much. Immediately after serving me I over heard him chewing her in front of customers for her portion size on my meal. I specifically asked for some meat in my broccoli and beef as it appeared to be only broccoli. She obliged and took care of it as she should. Awesome job. But the management had no room to chew her out for taking care of her customers. I will not be back. read more

Sign says they open at 10:30. It's currently 10:45 and hardly any food ready. At 10:35 the teenager kid with a key to the building finally showed up to work. Never had an issue here but this is a little ridiculous. Maybe the manager or owner of this location should think of putting some responsible people in charge. I get it, 10:30am is a super early tome to get out of bed and on time for but you know, some of us probably wouldn't understand. After continuing to wait, I finally had to leave and take my business elsewhere. Good food most of the time but pretty bad customer service and food line management. This has been going on at this location since this location opened and has never improved--even before covid became a thing. Even worse is when you call to ask a question and they pick up the phone only to hang it up on you twice in a row. Thirdly is when you try to resolve the situation only to be handed excuses and given the run around. People need to be accountable for their actions but Panda Express feels they are exempt from that responsibility. Their food is their virtue and the only reason I come back. read more

I am a local and always went to the Gunbarrel location..I decided to try this location...I've never in my life sat in a drive thru for so long. 32 minutes to move 5 cars. The food was not hot. I will never visit this location again. If you've made it here then tough it out for 10 more minutes and go to a much better location on Gunbarrel Road. Ridiculous. Drive thru is horrible, very unfriendly staff. Portions small for what you pay. Don't go through the drive through, instead go inside so you can see how much food they put in your plate and can demand more be added. Yes you can go inside and order food just can't sit to eat. read more

Only 1 person sitting in the dining area so wasn't busy at all. I stood at the counter for 3 to 4 minutes, a young female employee walked past 3 times without a word. When I finally said hello and suggested good customer service is to greet someone at the very least, even if it is to let them know you'll be right with them, she did apologize, but continued towards the drive through. She wasn't wearing a name tag. So another young female named Luna stepped in and was ridiculously rude. Because I questioned the lack of customer service, she told me I was treating her like a dog. I then asked to speak with a manager, she said there was no manager on duty till 8 (it was about 4:30 when this occurred). I then asked for the district or regional managers contact information, she refused to give it to me. I then asked for the name of the other female who wasn't wearing a name tag and she refused to give me her name. I started recording so I had proof of how empty the restaurant was and recorded Luna, she then scolded me for that. Bottom line, this place is terrible, I wouldn't eat there again if it was the only restaurant in Ooltewah. Luna needs mental counseling and customer service training. My interaction with her above was only a very small part of her stupidity and rudeness. read more

This is the worst PE I have visited. It was very busy and the clerk forgot to give me one of my entrees. I arrived home and I had about 2 tablespoons of my entree dried out and a dried bowl. The spring rolls, dry and seemed to have been cooked hours before. I contacted the manager who had excuses instead of listening to my complaint. The food was not edible and we just threw it away. We love Panda. We were so excited to see them come to Ooltewah. We were hoping to get one in cleveland. We average eating here at least once a week. It is always extremely busy when we are there. Our usual dinner time there is around six pm. We love the food but it seems the restaurant is under staffed and not large enough to accommodate the amount of traffic they have in the drive through and the inside. We usually have to wait for 30 minutes in line to place our order. Also parking is a nightmare. Ooltewah traffic is not very conducive to this location. By all accounts just based on the amount of traffic at Panda they appear to be very successful in Ooltewah. read more

This has been a fun addition to Ooltewah. The food has been good the 4-5 times I've been. I like the orange chicken. Probably their most popular dish. I highly recommend the Beijing Beef. But they'll give you samples of anything so just ask if your curious. The parking lot is too small and it can be tight at times if you drive a big vehicle. And the exiting of the parking lot is really annoying. Not the restaurant's fault at all but all these new businesses has made it a feat to get out of their if you have to cross a lane of traffic. read more

I LOVE Panda's food and while I used to deal with the slow, rude customer service with a smile on my face to get the delicious food Panda normally has to offer, it gradually got colder and harder and just not very appealing. The last two times I've had Panda from the Collegedale location, I have ended up so sick that I had to make a vow to myself to not give them anymore chances. I'll say - I always get the honey walnut shrimp, so if it was undercooked the last two times, that could explain a lot. Please just hire some new people. Ones that care about their customers and wanting to make things a little easier when they've worked late and just want to get home to their family without having to worry about getting sick off of the dinner choice that was supposed to keep me from having to cook in the first place. read more

Last 3 visits this place didn't have any fried rice???? How does a Chinese place run out of rice??? Also, the teenagers are clueless and care less about any customer service. I went to get dinner and the girl that is always there.. gave me attitude and told me that I had to wait in my car for my food (I was the only person inside so I told her I was going to wait inside) I was the only person In the store! We just tried this Panda Express for the first time today and we were very disappointed. The manager ShinShin was yelling across the restaurant at all the teenage employees. She was battling orders and embarrassing them. This is by far no way to manage or get anyone to work for you. She was also cooking with her back to everyone. I love Panda Express. It's a great place to eat. And I eat there a lot. This time however, I'm not sure if the girl taking my order on drive thru on 8/22 at 630pm was new or had a bad day but she chewed me out for not ordering white rice to start. She told me that it was extremely inconvenient for them if I don't order white rice to the start. I told them I wante white rice with the plate after the order as always. She demanded that I complied as well and say: "okay I will order white rice before my meal." She would not continue my order until I said that. She said just 'this one time I'll let you get white rice' because I didn't order the food in order. I am a manager at a retail store and if I treated a customer like that there would be a lot of issues. I could not imagine treating a customer the way I was treated. Not only was it the wrong thing to do but you just don't say that to a paying customer. I really hope her manager sees this and makes sure that she is talked to or if she was the manager then I feel bad for her employees. read more

I returned to Panda and there were more employees working on the food line and my wait time was 5 minutes. I was impressed with the improvement. Keep up the good work. Was here 11 months ago and said I would not go back. After 11 months witn not returning said maybe tonight I will see if things have changed and boy have they.
