This is my 3rd time ordering on this location hoping that the service, portion and quality of food will improve however still no improvement. I always put instructions on my pick up ( sauce and utensils) order but nothing was followed, very disappointing and the food was below standard and very chewy that you will know that it has been there at the warmer for quite sometime. read more

I love Asian food. As a prior Navy sailor, I 'be been all over the pacific. I like trying new dishes from Panda Express. They do their best to make it as authentic as it can be for a fast food restaurant. It's still good and enjoyable. Portion sizes have gone down a bit, but with the increase in product cost as well as employee pay, they have to make it up someplace without raising prices too much to be competive. All in all a good value. Thank goodness they are opening one back on los coaches again. We live in Alpine and that makes it much more convenient. read more

After today's visit, I had to stop by and leave a review. A female helped me, I believe her name was Rand, sorry if Its spelled wrong. But she was GREAT. She was owning the entire line by herself and was flawless with it. I'm so impressed only because I've been here before and have seen her doing this same thing. Even when busy, she made sure each guest was taken care of and knew they'd be helped on. 5 star customer service, you can tell she actually cares about her job. The food was fresh, and hot. Everything was good this evening from the chow mein noodles, white rice, mushroom chicken, orange chicken (which by the way is even better with sweet and sour poured on it). It's very sad that I decided to stop by this Panda Express location. They're truly the worst. Mariah had such a nasty attitude and was rude to me and 2 other senior/disabled customers. She acted like doing me a favor when I asked her that I need Chowmein & double grilled Teriyaki Chicken whereas she was barely giving me the right portion in my plate. She didn't greet me or other customers as I'm used to other Panda Express locations. The manager stood helpless when I reported this incident to the store manager. We just had our daughter's Sweet 16 party and when we asked what she wanted to serve as her dinner she said she wanted Panda Express. Teenagers. We used the Panda Express on Broadway and they were great to work with for the catering. The food was ready and hot when we picked it up. The kids really enjoyed it. The main reason I wanted to write is because I wanted to tell people that they give you a ton of food. The menu says the family style feeds 26-30 so we ordered two plus one additional dish. We had about 65 adults/teenagers. It was way too much food. Don't get me wrong, the food was great. The ordering process was very professional. Knowing what I know now, I would have ordered less food. They give you your money's worth and then some. read more

I came here the other day and I had ordered a plate with half brown rice/chow mein and orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. I give this place a 5 star because the food is absolutely delicious. I have always been a big fan of Panda Express and I do love the food. The problem there was at this location was that it was very busy. They need to hire 2-3 more workers to help out because the place was EXTREMELY packed. The place was so busy that I had ordered online and it said my food would be ready at 5:10. I went in around that time and I left at 5:20-5:25. Not gonna complain because I'm the end it was worth it. This place was very delicious and is perfect for a quick bite. It's panda express so wasn't expecting anything mind blowing and it's certainly not that. It's just OK american Chinese with a lot of sweet sauce(ESP in the Beijing beef, which was awful IMO). The two entree with rice/chow main is about $8. But the other day I was passing by at 9PM, and I saw the same stuff was for $5, so me being the Chinese food lover that I am, grabbed one. It was horrible, but I should have guessed that. The rice was cold and the beef, while not stale, was borderline stale. Their best, for me was the brocolli beef, closely followed by the Orange chicken, though I thought the orange chicken was too sweet Overall, if you can't find any better Chinese food place nearby, or u are in a hurry, head over to your nearest Panda, but don't expect anything great. read more

I love this location of Panda. Well start with Eric, the manager, he is super friendly n personable. The staff is also very welcoming and always gives a heaping amount of food. My favorite Panda Express they are clean the food is always fresh and they give you a decent serving unlike the Panda Express in rancho San Diego. The staff here is always nice I came In today at 8:30pm I was helped out by teddy. Great employee very nice he took my order they had ran out of sweet fire chicken and told me he would have the chef make a fresh order he gave me a free soda for the wait which I thought was really nice. He didn't have to do that but he chose to and that made me a happy customer thank you teddy and I also wanna thank the other employee who filled up my plate with sweet fire chicken. read more

After a long day of work, we ordered off of UberEats, and as we waited for our driver to deliver our dinner... She passes us and I have to walk down to meet her, grabbed the bag and quickly walked away. She delivered us the wrong meal! Panda Express told us how to get ahold of UberEats' so we can get someone to deliver our original order. As I'm waiting on hold for 30 minutes and the call finally comes to an end by Uber hanging up on me. At this point I'm frustrated, I call Panda back and they have our meal ready so I had to drive over (after driving several hours every day just to commute to and from work, I just want to relax at home and sometimes that includes just ordering food to be delivered) and pick that up. When I arrived, the young lady that I was on the phone with was so sweet and sorry for the situation regarding Uber. I love Panda express and was so disappointed when I saw a cook walk over to a little sink room and blow his nose without washing his hands or changing his gloves, returned to cooking the food. I reported him to the cashier who said " well he had gloves on". At that point I asked to speak to the manager who said" I will speak to him right now". Which she did and he then went to wash his hands. I don't know if he changed his gloves. What happened to the inservice and food handlers class? What if I hadn't seen this happen? read more

Great service, nice people! My boyfriend and I go to Panda Express a lot and we usually go to one on Magnolia and the one in Rancho San Diego. But the one on Broadway was by far the best one! May, was the employee that served us and she gave us more food than any other Panda Express has given us! The food was so fresh and tasted definitely better than the other ones! Lunch time...they were busy: Food was excellent, but service was so bad, disorganized, and down right unpleasant it overshadowed the food. The manger was working the line of customers...Tanny..she was difficult to understand and made no effort to speak so that I could understand her accent. I had to ask her to repeat everything she asked. Then she got my answers incorrect ( she could not understand me either I assume ) and we had to do this three times to place two orders to go. She was ***** off at having to repeat herself..and glared at me, no smile, no warmth, really I thought she was frowning just at me...but then she had to help the chicken server...cuts up chicken...she glared and verbally snapped at her also. The only reason I give this place 3 stars is because the staff were very courteous and the facility seemed to be very clean, almost like new. The food, well, let me know tell you, I just moved here from Washington DC and Panda Express over there is a quick, go-to Chinese place. The food is very flavourful, presentable and just always on point.. BUT that is over there. Since moving to SD, I've been to 3 different PE locations and never wanted to return as the food tasted very disgusting. Although this location in Bostonia gives more portion than the other two I've been to in SD, the food still tasted disgusting. The teriyaki chicken (without teriyaki sauce) was VERY, VERY sweet as if they marinated the chicken in brown sugar and teriyaki sauce. The rice, well all the vegetables on the rice seemed to be browned and pruned up with the rice itself having no taste of anything. The noodles were pretty good, nothing crazy to write about on that.
