Spaghetti with Homemade Sauce

Service from Alex was very attentive and friendly. She was very personable and was able to accommodate all our requests while being professional and lively! She's a paragon of what a server can be made our experience as guests extremely enjoyable.

Stuffed Chicken Marsala
Melissa R.

I got olive garden to go. I ordered stuffed chicken marsala, mashed potatoes and a chicken gnocchi soup. When I got the order home, it looked like the portion size of mashed pot's is much smaller than when you eat in the restaurant. The stuffed chicken marsala was very tasty but there didn't seem to be enough of the marsala sauce. The chicken gnocchi soup was delicious as always. I'm not sure if I would order a to go order again from there, but I would go eat inside.

Nonexistent service. After our order was taken and drinks delivered, it was hard to get our server's attention. I understand it was busy but she barely came to check on our table. We were missing utensils and serving plates for the longest time because we couldn't flag her down. We haven't had Olive Garden in so long but the flavors were the same as I can remember. Unfortunately, we ended up with a bad stomachache after our meal. We didn't know which dish caused it but after eating the leftovers the next day, we suspected the shrimp and scallops fettuccine. Not a so great experience overall.

Ravioli Carbonara... delish!!!
Vivian M.

This Olive Garden is always clean and with superb customer service from receptionist to the waiter. The food is really good. I ordered Ravioli Carbonara... omg, the cheese and the taste of bacon is perfect! Paired it with zuppa toscana and their bread dip in their alfredo sauce... drop the mic! I will never get tired of Olive Garden.

The olive garden is hearty americano-italy eats. wish their lasagna was beef. their spaghetti is good but depends on the sauce. the bread stick dips work well as sauces too, the cheesy marinara dip is delicious! take out some trays for a big group and a party!

Shrimp Alfredo & Cheese Ravioli

Out of all the olive gardens I have been to this is my favorite location. The service is always amazing. The atmosphere feels like an old cottage in Italy. The food is always on point and comes in a timely matter. I have been to the one in chula vista and I'm going to be honest location does matter with this franchise. Now if you're expecting authentic Italian food , you will not find it here. But let's be honest this is a pretty good and well known chain restaurant that sells americanized Italian food. They are known for their endless breadsticks with unlimited soup and salads. I like their chicken gnocchi soup, it's not too watered down. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and the shrimp tasted fresh ! The Alfredo sauce also tasted amazing ! The cheese ravioli is another big hit ! It is very cheesy and great. The best olive garden in San Diego you will not be disappointed !

The food was really good . I got the steak and Alfredo and it was perfectly cooked to my liking. My kids got the shrimp already and they seemed to enjoy it . Wish we asked for extra sauce on the side but that's our fault. Overall great experience randomly coming here on our way back home from viejas outlets

I hadn't been here in years, so it's definitely been remodeled since then. Friendly and attentive staff, clean restaurant, not a long wait at all. And food still tastes the same! Highly recommend the chicken gnocchi soup

It was pretty bustling the day I went so you could hear active sizzling on the skillet and sandwiches being made. I got the french dip to go and a couple of pre-made desserts to go. I didn't eat the sandwich for about 45 minutes because I had some errands on the way home, and the french dip was surprisingly still warm. It was so good!!!! I'm sure it would have been even better if I had eaten it while it was fresh and hot. Service was friendly, and my order was prepared in about five minutes. There were a handful of spots to sit inside and some outside seating. Ambiance was super casual (order at the counter and wait for your name to be called type place). I will definitely return again!

Decided to share the Asian salad and bbq chicken flatbread. Both good... but there's so many other things I want to try on the menu!! Tiny indoor dining area, patio area outside nice if it's not too hot. Order at the counter then they call you to pick up your order. Heard people steal other people's orders sometimes so don't wander away too far while waiting.

We were seated along the wall which had booth seating, which I prefer. For drinks I ordered a Thai tea no boba and the hubs a coke. We order the following items for dinner: Appetizers - - Crispy egg rolls - with pork (4 pieces) - served with veggies and fish sauce, these were tasty. - Salt pepper chicken wings - (8 pieces) they were a tad over fried but flavor was good. - Spring rolls - (2 pieces) with pork and shrimp, we ordered these Togo. Hubs enjoyed these for a late evening snack. Entrees - - Combination fried rice - chicken, shrimp and cha siu (Chinese bbq pork) I liked the flavoring of the fried rice - it was not bland, but I did mix in a tiny bit of hoisin sauce. - Pho rare steak - overloaded with green onions and cilantro. We always order pho but I really wasn't feeling it that evening, so it was all the hubs. If you love tons of green onions and cilantro, get it! The broth had a really strong flavoring of the cilantro. Overall dinner was fairly good. Seemed like there were regular customers that visited often. Staff were super nice and friendly. Parking lot was not packed at all. If in the area, I'd visit again. 2026: 7

The menu is full of other entrees, and I recommend trying some of their other dishes as well. We ordered a pho short ribs, pho filet mignon, miso ramen and shoyu ramen. The ramen noodles were delicious and they had a firm texture and were able to maintain their shape without becoming too soggy. The ramen soup was refreshing and flavorful. I had the pho fillet mignon. The broth had a complex flavor profile of hearty, and savory with undertones of onions and garlic. Tammi was extremely friendly. She walked us through how she prepares the pho broth each day. I could tell she took great care and pride in her work. We also ordered the watermelon lemonade. The taste was refreshing and you can tell it was made from fresh watermelon. We also tried the mango pudding sago dessert. It was sweet and had jackfuit and coconut jelly. My kids love it. Overall, this place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is a quaint quiet place to enjoy a nice meal with your family. I implore everybody to give this place a try. The prices are fair, the staff is kind and the food is delicious. Will come back to try their poke dishes when they are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

At first, she said the order only could be done on 1 bill. And then later she compromised with 2 bills, 5 people per table. That was nice of her! I just had 2 coffees before entering so I decided to skip ordering Thai tea. But they had a large drink menu, of fruit teas and more. My friend had the lychee tea which was very large and looked super refreshing! They also came by often to top off our waters which was nice. To eat, I ordered the $16.99~, Cashew Chicken Stir Fry with White Rice. It came with onion, green onion, carrots, zucchini, bell pepper, and cashews. The carrots were beautifully cut, but a little too crunchy for me to properly enjoy in the stir fry. Everything else was delicious! I think this could definitely be shared between 2-3 people. It was a lot for me, even after a large hike. The sauce was flavorful and not overly salty. I didn't ask for any spice level, but I think I'd choose mild or medium next time. My friends ordered-- - $12.99, Dirty Fried Chicken: This had a blitz coating of lime, mint, and spices. And it was decorated with thinly sliced green onions with a side of sweet chili sauce. The chicken was hot and plump, not dry, and very much mouthwatering! Would recommend. - $14.99, Thai Grilled Chicken Salad: Grilled Chicken Breast on a bed of mixed green salad, carrots, and cucumbers with peanut dressing. It reminded me a little of chicken satay~ it smelled and looked incredible. I think I might order it next time, when I want something light and fulfilling after a hike. - $11.99, Cream Cheese Avocado Wontons (6PC): These came out piping hot and when you took a bite they were oozing. It was very creamy and when you dip into the plum sauce it's a delectable bite. A nice appetizer to share with the table. - $16.99-$19.99 (depends on what protein you get), Pad Thai: This proportion was manageable for one person. The restaurant used thin rice noodles, but it didn't clump excessively compared to other restaurants. The prices are what you'd typically see at a Pan-Asian restaurant, a few dollars more than what you'd want to spend. But these kinds of restaurants, in my opinion, are for enjoying with others. So, if you're sharing food and all that-- the price is worth it (esp with the quantity that is given). Next time, I would probably order one of their noodle dishes rather than rice. Oodles by the Noodbar has such a large and diverse menu so I would highly recommend coming in to try them out.
