I went thru the drive thru the staff stated they were out of the item I wanted to order and did not want to make another batch because they had a few hours left until closing time. Whenever I have a craving for Asian food specifically Chinese, this is my quick go to. I can usually get something for $10 or less and I love chow mein. Of course they have the white rice or the fried rice for the sides as well. You can get a bowl just one topping on the side, the plate with two entrées and a side, or a bigger plate. I was very impressed when I did dining in at this panda express last time. The Beijing beef was not quite ready and they were at the bottom of their bowl on the walk through service. So they made a mark on my box that they were filling up. They mistakenly put in mushroom chicken. When I got to the end of the line and paid I asked about the beef and they said if it wasn't in there to come back. So I got to my table and opened my box and there was no beef. So I went back and asked about it and they gave me my other entrée at no extra charge so in essence because of their error I got a free entrée. That was very very nice and I appreciated this service. I always find the food consistently tasty, fresh, and nourishing. I particularly enjoy that they have done away with kale in the super greens which I did not like stirfried kale is it is so leathery and tough. Also for your side instead of it being totally chow mein or totally fried rice, you can get half fried rice and half greens or all greens. This is nice if you're trying to cut down on your carbohydrate intake. I usually go to the Peach and Kings Canyon location. read more

Everything was fresh. They were working on completing the day's offerings. I ate at a table. My food was bagged. I wasn't even asked if I was going to dine in or carry out my food. Panda Express belongs in a mall food court. The restaurant is set up exactly like a food court. One young lady was furious cleaning tables with a bucket and a sponge. This review is being done by my husband and it is his first time ever giving a 1 star to any restaurant. He is ALWAYSS generous, forgiving and lenient even if orders are mixed up. Onto his review: I ordered Panda from this location for my brother's family, my two girls and my pregnant wife. Though their home was only a couple of minutes away, I wanted to order via Uber eats because we didn't want to leave the home. Minutes after my Uber eats app showed that my Uber driver picked up the order ($58 order) I received a call from my Uber eats driver asking me if I had picked up my order already. Thoroughly confused, I said I haven't even left the home and saw on the app that a gentleman named (I will not disclose his name) had just picked up my order. The gentleman confirmed that he is the named driver and that he arrived at Panda and was told that someone already picked up my order. He said he'd go back to the restaurant and fix it for me. The order ended up arriving 15-20 mins later than the original order. I ordered the family feast.. When the driver arrived, he explained what happened and said that it's happened to him before. He also said that Panda had asked him to provide the order confirmation number. Looks like they didn't do the same for the first person who stole our food. He was a super cool guy and made things right. After he left, my wife noticed the orange chicken was missing. She noticed because it was what she was craving and what she had ordered. I called the restaurant back and told them about the mix up. The "person in charge" (that's how he identified himself over the phone) told me that if I wanted to, I can go in another time and provide my receipt and they can give me a free small side of Orange Chicken...I clarified with him that I needed the orange chicken now because my pregnant wife is craving it and I'm not taking a small side because I paid for a full side. He told me to bring the receipt and come into the store to pick it up and asked for my name which I gave to him. When I arrived, I waited and was asked what I needed help with. I explained to the gal at the register what happened. She went and got a female manager (who said she is the person in charge). I told her that I had spoken to a male person in charge and she said she's also a person in charge. I explained what happened and she asked me to provide verification of my receipt. I showed it to her along with a picture I took on my phone showing what was delivered (no orange chicken I included). She looked angry and ended up getting me a full side because I said I bought a full side and am not going to settle for a small side. I received no apology. I was not compensated for their mistake. Aside from being offered a small side (which wasn't even equal to the originally ordered quantity), I wasn't offered anything for wasting my time and money. ALL of the food was almost cold to the touch. The fried rice was hard. I wasted a lot of money on a junk meal. I did not cuss at any of the employees and handled the situation politely and did not raise my voice or give them a hard time because I work in customer service and know better than to do so to others. It was overall very unprofessional and upset my pregnant wife a lot. I feel highly disrespected simply because I wasn't being a loud-mouthed jerk. I regret closing out of the Uber eats app before I could leave this review because it wouldn't let me leave one anymore thus, why I am using my wife's yelp app/account. I will never go to this Panda again. I do not recommend this place. Order via Uber eats at your own risk. Apparently people hack orders and/or some Uber eats employees like to steal orders and not check in. I am still shocked and it's a whole day later. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before and the lack of professionalism of the "persons in charge" have left me dumbfounded. To Panda Express employees who are reading this review from this location: No, I don't want and won't accept your apology at this point. No you cannot make it right as I have already given you the chance to with patience and didn't. And yet you got upset at me for your mistakes. You literally EARNED this review. Honestly, I love Panda Express. My family and I have been eating since the original kitchen inside Vons in northwest Fresno. That being said, this is the most efficient and consistent Panda Express of them all. Bonus points for being a drive through! People call that lazy but when you have kids(and one is special needs) it's especially helpful to get something without leaving the car. We've been here many times(all drive through experiences) and have yet to encounter a bad experience. The employees are always nice and cheerful, and to this day, haven't received a wrong order or incorrect items whatsoever! In the restaurant industry thats a great streak to have. I hate the fact that everytime I go through the drive thru they always ask for a VCH donation, if you say no they will ask to round up the change. When I continued to say no,they will literally throw your food in your hands and the same with your debt card and receipt. Without saying thank-you. This happens every time I go to this location. I don't come to this location often and was a bit confused when I pulled up to the drive thru ordering screen and it was not working. Nothing was said through the speaker for a good couple of minutes and I said hello (nicely in my opinion) a few times and got no response, so I drove to the window. When I got there, the person working at the window just said "Hi Kid's meal?" so I explained that I wasn't sure if they were taking orders because the screen was broken and I hadn't gotten a response from the speaker. She then said "Yeah I hadn't said anything yet, I was dealing with other things so I hadn't said anything yet." So I said "No biggie, I'll just come back around again" which I did. She sounded irritated and just unfriendly. I said my order slow every time and she still said what was the other part almost every time! I am giving this store 2 stars: one for the crappy and skimpy food portions; and, one for the staff. I find it highly irritating that I get asked 2-3 times per purchase to donate to VCH. If you say no, they ask "will you round up the change." NO! If I'm going to make a donation, I will do it directly and get the freaking tax credits. If you come here 3 times a week, then that means they are going to hound you up to 9 times a week for a VCH donation. Drop it! Seriously, it's costing you more than it's saving you.
