We ordered a variety of dim sum dishes and overall had a good experience. The char siu steamed buns aren't a personal favorite of mine, but my husband and daughter absolutely loved them. The shumai was very flavorful and definitely a standout. The chicken feet were soft and easy to eat, and the spare ribs were tender as well. I always order Chinese broccoli to make sure we have a green vegetable, and it was good as expected. The egg rolls were just okay, not very crispy. The shrimp balls were good and nicely bouncy. Sticky rice is usually a favorite of mine, but this one was just okay, not bad, but not great. Overall, a solid meal with more hits than misses, and we'd still come back.

4- Finally corrected the customer service. Food in consistent. I will excuse their mistake of leaving one dish out on my to-go order. Although they didn't apologize, but at least they acknowledge they forgot the dish (although they should call customer next time and let them know).

Been coming here for as long as I can remember. My parents know everyone here. Food is great, dimsum still has rolling carts, chicken salad is top tier. Everyone is always so nice. Lots of tables and open space.

All I ever order is dim sum when I go to any Chinese restaurant. Imperial gets the food out fast with no smiles included ever. They're always about quantity and getting orders out fast. It was pretty busy for New Year's Day lunch and it's been awhile since I ordered food here. Everything was pretty good and the only thing that was heavy was the deep fried crab claws and shrimp balls. The ambiance has been the same for the last decade, standard and outdated. I wonder if they will ever upgrade because I've been to many weddings here but now it doesn't look attractive for today's generation.

The service is OK, the ambiance is OK, and the food is OK. The food tastes how it should taste except when it comes to sweet dishes.... its really sweet. I could not eat anymore of the general spicy chicken I ordered. Everyone is different so dont take my advice until you try yourself. Lol.

It's been years since I've been here. Dim sum still rocks! Today I'm trying dinner #15. See updated menu

We celebrated my birthday day, about six weeks after I had open heart surgery. I am on a low sodium diet now, so all sauces on the side, and a fair amount of steamed dim sum hit the spot. I really wanted the steamed ginger fish, and was told the sodium won't be bad. It was delicious - as was all the usual dim sum I have. The service and ambience were as they always are - attentive and bright. I truly love this restaurant.

This is my family's go-to spot for dim sum. The dim sum dishes are solid. The Chinese Chicken Salad and Beef Chow Fun are also good here. Their portions are HUGE. I haven't had any issues with service. They usually help me look for the dish I want. I also like that it's not always busy and crowded. I'll continue to come here for dim sum and will explore the rest of the menu.

Food is always palate pleasing. Shout out to floor crew...Mimi, two Michelle's, Fong, & Shirley. Celebrated Father's Day with my Vietnam Veteran. Always a refreshing atmosphere & experience when having an awesome fellowship with breaking bread. I highly recommend Imperial Garden Restaurant for your fine cuisine pleasures.

There aren't many authentic Chinese food options in Fresno that are sit-down and offer all the traditional Cantonese-style popular dishes, including dim sum, pan fried noodles, and fried rice. Imperial Garden is the one constant that has somehow lasted through decades since my childhood growing up in town and through the years of ownership changes to now when I only occasionally return "home" for a family and friends visit. The menu is extensive, ambiance average, and service typical of what you get when you think of stereotypical Chinese restaurants (and that's coming from me being Chinese!). After decades of not having come here for a proper family sit-down meal, we decided to give it a go. We ordered an egg-drop soup, pan-fried noodles, lettuce wraps, sweet and sour fish, salt and pepper calamari, Peking spare ribs. Everything was okay, nothing amazing. There really aren't many terrific and better options in town, so in a pinch, Imperial Garden will have a to do.

This place has the best Chinese chicken salad in Fresno. The Dim Sum menu is separate but they make all of it old school Chinese. Can't say enough about how great the food is and the atmosphere is authentic. Medium prices make it great go to when you're wondering where would I like to eat tonight. Lunch is also available. Waitress staff are on top of it. As fast as you order you get your food almost like they knew you were coming. Friendly but the do speak Chinese to each other which brings the authenticity to the experience

Another long standing restaurant on blackstone and Herndon and they just open another on Herndon and cedar. Love the foods and we like the server that can speak multi language there she is very sweet. Also the only dimsum place using cart in Fresno !!

We ordered steamed pork buns, orange chicken, crispy sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, low mein, and Yangzhou Fried Rice. Everything was delicious and loaded with flavor. The standouts were the yangzhou fried rice which comes with shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. Loved all the meat here and big chunks of veggies. We all loved the orange chicken and the crispy fried pork especially. I tried to get my kids to sample the steam pork buns, but they wouldn't, which just meant more for me! Pillowy soft and full of tender BBQ pork, they were my fave. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Clovis!

My only critique is the interior could use some updating to freshen up the atmosphere. **Recommend for anyone looking for flavorful dim sum with plenty of great choices.
