What can I say, the service was ok and the place was clean and new. The food on the other hand, the rice was dry, to the point where you have to have a drink just to enable you to eat it. What terrible food...will NEVER EVER eat here again. Got the Orange chicken and it was rubbery..most of it was little pieces that didnt even have chicken in them. The rice was dry and had absolutely no flavor. The broccoli was so tough I could not chew it. My husband had the Asian beef and there were three tough little pieces of meat the broccoli was so tough he couldnt eat his either. Same story on his rice. We each had an egg roll..they were burnt and had no flavor. The only thing good about this meal was the fortune cookies. It's cliche Americanized oriental takeout. My wife described it to me as the Qdoba of Chinese food and I agree with that assessment. The noodles were greasy, the food was acceptable. Huge portions. I ordered Orange chicken as one of my meats. It was still being prepared and the server offered to bring it out. This is the WORST Panda Express I have ever been to. Service is ALWAYS slow and by slow I mean I have waited in the drive-thru on more than one occasion for at least 20 minutes. The food is terrible! It's dry, bland, and cold. I've had better Americanize Chinese food. One of the employees was super rude to me. His name was Kay and I believe he was the manager. My wife and I regularly eat at Panda Express in our home town. We love it and have stopped at several others in our travels. We're always quite pleased with the service, value for the dollar and the quality of the food. So we were pleased when it was getting late on our way through Holland, MI, and we saw Panda Express. We stopped in. The young lady who served us was friendly. My wife got a chicken teriyaki bowl with fried rice. I ordered a plate with fried rice for a side. But when I looked at the entrees, many didn't contain enough food for a serving and they all looked very old. I got the honey shrimp with walnuts and string bean chicken breast since they were the only two entrees that looked edible. I considered just leaving, but it was late, we were tired and had two more hours yet to drive. The portions were very small...less than half what I'm used to at Panda Express. The fried rice had burnt rice which was so hard it hurt my teeth when I tried to eat it. The string bean chicken breast was room temperature and the honey shrimp so old it was simply disgusting. My wife's teriyaki chicken seemed ok. But she got the teriyaki sauce on the side. It was so cold it was coagulated. Now, about 3 hours later, my wife has an upset stomach which I'm sure is related to this dining experience. I wish I'd read the reviews before we ate here, as there are a myriad of very negative ones. A note for Al J. of Panda Express: I see you've responded to several of the negative reviews for this restaurant that you would contact the management team to address the issues. I am not sure what happened here but they have gone down hill within the past few months. It was the first time ordering from the drive thru and was impressed with the customer service working on it. I got the angus steak which is usually awesome but it was not crisp, it was like a boiled beef. The sauces tasted like nothing. So I go through the drive through and get the pleasure of talking to some angsty Asian teenager that obviously didn't care about his job. After we ordered we were told to pull forward and wait for 2-3 minutes. We waited for about 20 and when we finally got our food it turns out it had been switched with the car next to us who were also waiting for a while. I noticed the mistake when I got home. Normally I'm not someone to get really upset over this kind of thing BUT I had spent about 25 dollars on my order and got about 15 dollars worth of food that wasn't even what I wanted. Came in for the second time of my life, let me just say first wasn't the best and that was a couple months ago, however my opinion was changed when I was greeted with a smile by all the workers and heard the whole crew say thank you when donating. It seems there attention and care for customers has gotten extremely better. I was very impressed by some of the workers, I had a nice conversation with a young girl named Caylynne and was helped at the register with a nice gentlemen, I believe his name was Issac. Another thing that I would like to point out is that the store was extremely cleaned and it appeared that in their slow times they took the time to clean as I sat there and ate. We actually like this place. But they have learned nothing in serving the customers even before the pandemic. Today we placed an online order while shopping across the street. We arrived two minutes early. My daughter got out of car and approached the door when the manager shut the door and told her we are closing inside. She said we have a pick up. You need to go to drive through. Ten cars in front of us online. When there was 4 cars ahead a single car with two ppl in it took 20 minutes for the drive through to wait on them. We finally get our turn after 50 minutes only to pull up and be told our food wasn't cooked yet. Pull around and wait another 20 minutes while we watched car after car order and get their food. No apologies or anything when it was finally brought out to us. I can understand shortage of staff if we'd been told. That person at the door should have been able to step in and grab our order when we were at the door. As it should have been ready. As I said this place didn't run well before covid. read more

Horrible experiences last two times visited. First time my colleague and I had to wait for fried rice for 15 min. This is during lunch time (12:15 pm on a weekday). Place was dirty, the person in the checkout apparently did not want to give me a tray, so she piled the fortune cookie (cover and all) and chopsticks on top of my rice! When I asked for soy sauce, she was going to place the packets on top too. I asked for a tray. This is the same person receiving money, handling all packets, cookies, etc and placing them on top of your food, without washing her hands! This would not pass any health inspection. First of all I waited 20+ minutes for my food. The staff seemed to only be filling drive thru orders and hardly any food was cooked or prepared. This is probably due to understaffing. If I were to rate this restaurant by food alone, I would give it a four or five. But, b/c the overall experience is just as important as the taste of the food, they are lucky I'm rating them a two. What a joke!! My sister and I went there to get some food to go a couple of weeks ago, and this was our second visit there. The first time was just as bad as the second, but the food drew us back, and we had high hopes that our first experience was just a fluke, and that things would be better the second time around. We were wrong!! The "chef", Rafael, thought it was more important to socialize with the other cooks and staff than it was to ensure that the food was hot and fresh. At one point he put a bowl of orange chicken on the encounter to replenish the empty one on the serving counter, and it sat there for several minutes while the servers laughed and played around. Felicia was the only person who seemed to know what she was doing!! While I sat there waiting for the orange chicken to be moved from the kitchen area to the serving counter, Felicia's co-server sat there and flirted with a girl who came in after me. Felicia was running between helping customers and running the register, and even though the kid she was working with was doing nothing, he actually told her to get the orange chicken from the kitchen! HELLO! Then he proceeded to help the woman after me, b/c he was making a fool of himself drooling over her, even though we were waiting ahead of her. Finally, once we got our food, which took WAY TOO LONG based on the fact that it just sits there in bowls and all they have to do is scoop and serve, the staff and cooks, including Rafael (but not Felicia, who was still running around trying to serve all the people waiting), were standing around in the dining area laughing and messing around, to the point where he ran into me, b/c he wasn't paying attention and they were literally in the way of customers. After reading all the reviews of this Panda Express we were a little on the judgemental side. I can say that we were greeted by not one but 4 friendly faces, even the guy in the drive thru said hi. The food was hot and everything we had was delicious, even though it was between lunch and dinner. We ate in the dining room and my husband even ordered a to-go serving of something else to try. The dining area was clean and well stocked. It was great finding a place that cares enough to clean the seats in the booths. For anyone going by old reviews, give this place another try, obviously this place has had a change for the better. read more

The food isn't better or worse than any other Panda Express in the world. Where this place fails is with facilities. The ice machine has been broken on and off for months. The order taking between drive thru and inside really struggles and appears to be very disorganized leading to long wait times. Seen egg rolls being dropped in the dry basket by unwashed, un-gloved hands... I understand the hot oil will kill bacteria, but what other food handling issues exist that aren't negated by hot oil??? read more

Fast and friendly service. The food was hot and fresh. The staff was VERY patient (have you ever asked a 3 year old to make a choice??) as my kids figured out what they wanted (orange chicken!) I branched out and tried something new - broccoli beef - and was delighted by the taste! I usually get the Pacific chili shrimp, also a good bet. Nice to have a fairly healthy option, as far as fast food is concerned. So full now though... Probably should have asked for a to-go container. :-) read more
