I didn't know it was customary to lock the doors when the drive-thru got backed up. When a family member let someone in, she was asked not to let anyone else in. Didn't know if this only happens at the Holland location or other locations. At least they should put a sign on the door telling people to use drive-thru. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with this Panda Express location. Multiple times we've gone there, either the dining room or the drive-through has been closed, sometimes both. There were signs posted, but the bigger issue was the rude customer service. On our last visit, an employee responded with, "I already told you why we had signs on the door stating dining room was closed and why the sign in the drive through was closed." The tone was dismissive and unprofessional. Customers should not be spoken to that way for simply trying to order food. After dealing with repeated closures and poor customer service, we will not be returning to this location again. Management seriously needs to address staffing, communication, and how customers are treated. read more

Terrible service first drive through a closed but yet one car got to order and make everyone behind them wait to get out of line to go in. This was my second time to a Panda Express. The first time I went to a Panda Express in an airport, it was terrible, so I received encouragement to come back a second time. With that in mind, I came to this location which is closest to me. It's really close to my work and I always see the sign that it is Gourmet Chinese food, so I thought I would give it a try today. I came in around 1130 and it was really slow, but I got busier right around 11:45 AM. When I first walked in I noticed how clean and neat everything was. I was also greeted by an employee which was nice. I liked how the kitchen area was clean he wasn't smoking or smelly, and I liked how you could see it fresh vegetables in the refrigerator by the kitchen area. As far as the food, the menu was easy to read and understand, but I noticed a lot of the food items were about half filled or completely empty, which limited my selection abilities. I ended up going with the ones that had the freshest or best looking dishes, so orange chicken beef and broccoli, and fried rice. The orange chicken was very bland and either needed to be sweeter, Saltere, and/or spicier.It also need to be a little more crispy, it was very mushy, with little crisp. The beef was probably the best part, as it was very tender and flavorful, but just a little bit too salty. The broccoli isn't seasoned at all and it's cooked on the very light side to almost raw. The fried rice looked very good it had good texture, but again there was almost no taste. The food overall wasn't bad, as I ate it all, but by no means did it taste good and I definitely would not call it gourmet. read more

The manager told me this after I asked if anyone would help us standing there. 2nd visit in a row waiting over 20 min to get your order taken. I frequently go to this location, and you may be wondering: How do you mess up Chinese food? Well, ask the Sunday crew who I won't be calling out by name simply out of respect for privacy. We ordered two plates, my fiancé's plate went through with little trouble. When it came to my plate I couldn't hear my server at all as he was mumbling constantly. I tried the new spicy Sichuan chicken and wanted the extra seasoning; I have never seen someone fail at putting powder on chicken, I had to ask three times for more seasoning to be applied. When I asked for orange chicken my server was so slow the person behind me got the last of the chicken, and this is when the meal went from bad to "I'm writing a review" bad. I was told my plate would be brought out once they finished cooking more, no biggie, it happens a lot. I ate my egg roll and played on my phone until I noticed some time had passed, my fiancé had finished her food. I went up to just watch to see if orange chicken was out, to my delight I watched as they brought out a fresh batch as I walked up. I then watched as the crew filled all the drive orders and all the orders currently in line. Skipping over my now cold plate sitting right in front of them. I'm quite disappointed with my experience at this Panda.. I've been to many Panda Express locations around Michigan and Ohio throughout the years and this one was by far my least favorite. We did drive thru and we weren't told the total of our meal until the window, when we got to the window we were given our bag and after we pulled away I checked the bag and we weren't given any fortune cookies or soy sauce packets which is a major bummer since that has always been included wherever I've gone! I love to finish my meal with a fortune cookie and I think Panda's are some of the best! When we ate, we both thought the fried rice was very bland, a soy sauce packet would've helped! The orange chicken was good and so was the kung pow chicken but overall I was quite disappointed :( read more

Do not go here.. bunch of kids working here. I arrived approximately 4:15pm. Everything looked a bit old but I thought to myself "I don't think they would do that". I got chow Mein with honey walnut shrimp. Absolutely horrible. The shrimp is so hard and old jerky like and the chow mein has tons of burnt noodles which are Very crunchy. Did not finish eating this food because I was worried about getting sick from it. While the cooks are playing around in the back no fresh food is getting cooked properly. NEVER AGAIN read more

I was really disappointed with my service in at the store located: 3277 W Shore Dr. Holland, MI. I love panda and I'm traveling from Los Angeles. I don't usually see pandas here so I wanted to stop and get my dinner fix for the hotel. I walked in around 745pm on 5/16/19. I was surprised that I wasn't greeted because there were three young ladies working the counter. No worries though, I just wanted my food. I walked up to the counter, already knowing what I wanted and ended up standing there for at least 5 mins, still completely unacknowledged. I looked at the three girls while they were having their conversation and met eyes with a taller one with glasses. She then proceeded to tell the other girls "I'm not going to get It, you go get it" then another girl responded and said "no, I'm busy - it's your turn". I just turned around and walked out, went across the street to Red Robin. Not cool and I think they should be spoken to about customer service. If this was a wine tasting with food paring, the portion size would be perfect. - I realized that the staffs are minimum waged, but they represent your Brand. We went twice to this location and first time was out of orange chicken and second time they were out of white rice. Extremely slow!!!

My husband and I split a plate with three entrees. We got half rice and half noodles...neither was very warm, but it was plentiful. Our entrees consisted of King Pao chicken, shrimp with walnuts, and orange chicken. The Kung Pao was hot. Yes, I know it is supposed to be hot, I get it all the time, but this was so hot neither my husband or I could eat it. I think in the future when they offer a sample I will have to take them up on it before I order it. The shrimp with walnuts was great and the orange chicken was pretty good too. Drive thru has a sign saying you have to come back after 1:30pm and that it's closed Sunday it also said that and that they had staffing issues I really hope they can get new management because this location shouldn't be branded with the Panda Express logo 3/12/18 No food ready. I was told we can only make so much chicken teriyaki per day. Etc. it's sad because other locations have great food. What kind of a Chinese restaurant runs out of White Rice? I placed an order for a Large Kung Pao Chicken and a large order of White Rice. They came back and said that they only had enough white rice for a bowl order. This on a Friday night at 5:30, a busy time with cars in front of and behind me in the drive-thru. As if that wasn't the height of incompetence, they had the audacity to tell me that they could provide me with the small amount of white rice they had left, but they would have to charge me for a bowl order, but without the entree. So not only did they not have a basic staple of any Chinese restaurant, but they wanted to overcharge me for what little they had. Their excuse for running out of white rice was that the lunch crowd depleted them of their supply of white rice. Simple solution - make more white rice, especially on a Friday night at 5:30 when many customers will be placing orders. I did not want the fried rice or the noodles because they are both extremely greasy. Management and staff really need to be replaced and upgraded at this franchise. Really - no white rice? That's like saying no bread at a sandwich place or no cheese at a pizza place! Lame. read more

Recently went to the Panda Express in our town that we go to often. Never had a bad experience until today. There was a very long line and the staff was filling a large online catering order. When we were able to order we ordered two plates and on the second plate they ran out of orange chicken. The staff member from drive was helping the people behind us and put the last of the orange chicken on the people behind us order. They said it would be 4-5 minutes and they would bring it out for us. I was finished with my plate and the other was still not brought out. Every time I come to this restaurant there is always a wait for food to be made. Today was the last straw. I wanted fried rice and was told that it would be three minutes for more to be made. I waited 10 minutes and went back up to the counter to be told that it was going to be at least 5 minutes since they have to start cooking it. This is the last time I will eat here. My family and I arrived more than half an hour before they closed. They rushed us through our order. We had asked if they closed at 8:30 and the girl said yes. We apologized believing that was the close time. However, they kept making food in the background and we were confused as to why they were.
