They apparently don't have a system with online orders, is way slower than if you have showed up in person. Tried Panda Express for the first time. Got the Orange Chicken with fried rice. The Orange chicken was really good, as good as you can get at an authentic Chinese restaurant. The fried rice was a bit dry, there wasn't enough oil in it, which is also a good thing if you don't want excess oil. But the secret to good fried rice is a lot of oil. I saved some of it overnight and pan fried it the next day and it tasted better! The location is not bad, a lot of parking. There was only a couple of people working at the front which meant a wait 10 mins but it was a busy day. I would come and try this again. read more

I don't write many of these, but I have to say something negative because the manager/owner has no clue how to keep this location staffed. I order 3 items (beef broccoli, string bean chicken, and chicken egg rolls) and just so happens each of those items is out! Hence, I must wait 10 minutes because there are only 3 people working! Where is the person in charge? I feel for the poor employees working here because they are doing their level best, but they simply cannot keep up, not keep the warmers properly stocked! We had the worst experience ever with Panda Express. We placed an online order at 3:24 PM, it should be ready to pick up at 3:56 PM. However, when we get to the store at 3:55 PM. The order wasn't ready... In fact, the store hasn't even started making our order. This is at the non-busy hour at the location. The employees informed my wife (I was in the car with our kid) that the online order receipt hasn't printed out yet, so they cannot make the order. My wife has shown them the receipt we got in the email. But they still won't make our order. The manager came out to the counter and said the same thing to her. They cannot make the order unless the receipt was printed on their side. My wife even asked them to start making the order so if the receipt printed out later then we are good to go. But they still won't do it. We have no idea how much longer for the receipt to print out at the store or if it ever gonna print out since it's already past 30 minutes. We were on a very tight schedule today, and we wasted our time by driving over there and came home without the food that we ordered and paid. This is unacceptable for any customer that paid for their food online but the store won't do anything to make it right to provide the food. We didn't have time to stop by another place to get dinner. So we came home without dinner that we paid for and we are very disappointed and angry. It's not the customer's problem when there is an issue with the Online/Store system. I expect any restaurant to do better than this. Especially Panda. Since we paid for the food we didn't get, we will end up dispute our charge on the credit card. read more

As a former restaurant employee and someone who's worked in customer service I am appalled at how mismanaged this location is. My self and a few co workers dined at the Issaquah/Sammamish location after placing online orders. When we arrived one of our orders was unaccounted for and after my associate showed proof of purchase along with his order confirmation number the staff refused to remake the order or give a refund. The Managers suggestion was FOR US TO CALL THEIR CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS or pay for the entire order a second time. Meanwhile while the manger continued to argue with us, other customers as well as the food in the back were neglected and we watched people start to walk out. In the end after 5 people walked out and three more angry customers, we were advised that there was nothing that could be done and left to not return anytime soon. Like the food here. But i scheduled an order for 11:45 so it would be ready for me by my lunch time at work and i could easily go a pick it up in 5min. I got a text and email at 11:40 stating my order was ready for pick up. When i got there and went in to pick it up, i went to the designated pick up shelf and the order was not there. so I waited about 5min for assistance and then decided to get in line and ask about it when i get up there. and when i did, the employee just pointed me to the shelf again, while only just starting to prepare my order, when I had been notified it was ready about 15-20min prior. It is really unfortunate that not a single one of the last seven orders we've placed has been completed or accurate. Sadly the consistency is that it is crap. We have three kids, one kids meal was forgotten, which child do we not feed? Wrong entrees, left out drinks, sides are inaccurate, there is zero care about the quality that is going out. This place has thoroughly disgusted me today with their food and attitude. 1) The orange chicken served to us was soggy. We took it back and they claimed that's just how it is supposed to be. I have never had a worse orange chicken. 2) The mushroom chicken I ordered turned up a hair in it. I took it to the staff and the manager said to me that it's not a hair and it's from a brush. I was astounded because in my books it's not okay to serve brush hair to your customers in their food. She offered me a replacement but I was too disgusted to eat anything there. I know for sure that they can look up recent purchases and do a refund if they want to. Moreover the manager started explaining that the card she has offered me gives me a plate (which it didn't. I haven't been to one of these in over a decade or longer. Back in the area and took the kids to try it out. Buffet basically, but we found some good surprises here. I had a steak/mushroom dish that was amazing. It cost an extra $ but worth it. We all got a 2 dish combo meal to try as much as we could. The orange chicken is by far one of the best dishes. The gyoza just ok. Noodles were decent. We had a good meal but it was costly. I would try for just a small plate (1 dish) next time or split a plate with the kids to save money. Why review a Panda Express? Aren't all Panda Expresses in a mall with old food sitting under a heat lamp? I too had my doubts. I wasn't ever about to set foot in this establishment until a friend of mine told me it was pretty good and forced me to go with them to try it. Yes, those are heat lamps over the food, but they always look super fresh... what I like to do is watch and see if anything ever gets changed out while I am in line because I really haven't had anything bad here yet. My favorite is the chicken and green beans because, well, you gotta get your vegetables somewhere! I don't know what it is with Issaquah, but it makes these low-to-mid-end food chains awesome. Take for example, MOD pizza. I hated that place in Bellevue, but I love it over in Issaquah. I have those same feelings towards this Panda Express. I am a fan! read more

Update: been here several times now. Hate surf n turf night, we have shrimp allergy. Hard to find anything here to eat anymore. Everything has wheat/gluten and soy on it. I loved the honey sesame chicken that is now discontinued. Love the sweet fire chicken. Green bean chicken is good, just wish it was soy free. Our usuals are Kung pao chicken, sweet fire chicken, orange chicken, green bean chicken, Beijing beef. They now have steamed brown rice!! Some days it's good other days to much water. Today went there at 530pm. Six people working behind the counter, but dishes available to purchase were all less than half full. This should have been my early indicator. Ordered two dishes on a plate that each were $1.25 more as a premium offering. I got three shrimp which was a level spoonful. I rejected this and tried another angus beef.... same results. The Bellevue Panda serves twice as much. I would not suggest the Sammamish Parkway Panda as they are trying to make up for their reduced traffic by cutting your portions short. Definitely disappointed and unfortunately not the first occurrence at this location of this type of behavior. It will be my last visit.
