We came early to treat a friend from Australia lunch as it was one of the things she wanted to try while in the USA. We arrived about 10 minutes before they were supposed to open. At 1030am an employee steps out and asks if we were waiting to eat there because 2 chefs had car trouble and they had 2 party orders to fill so they would not be serving customers until 1130am. Our kids love this place. One day, when I was eating, it almost broke my tooth crown. Found hard stuff in the food. They were small stones. Asked staff to check what it is. She doesn't say anything to me but to a manager. The Manager says it could come from eggplant. She said it happens when they clean vegetables and then she offered 50% discount for next visit. Shhh...don't tell anyone but sometimes I like shitty Chinese food. Salty, sickeningly sweet, 0 spice level, low-budget ingredient, chilling under heat lamps drenched in strangely colored sauces. Obviously I know my Chinese cuisine, but sometimes I crave this crap. This location does it like all others, quick, clean, and reasonably priced. I've never understood why anyone goes to a PF Chang's when they serve the same stuff here which actually tastes better and at a fraction of the price. read more

As veteran chinese food consumer, the first panda express I went to blew me away in terms of expectations. So I when I heard that there was a new one in Issaquah, I was excited to check it out. It was a bit dissapointing, especially since the special entrees and shrimp entrees were a dollar extra. The food looked like it had been sitting there for a while (this was 1:00 p.m. mind you). This staff is always polite, especially during the dinner rush. The food is fresh except near closing, understandable, however they will make fresh entrée's when asked. I made the mistake of stopping by this restaurant for cloyingly sweet Beijing beef instead of going over to a real Chinese restaurant and is my first and last time. They are supposed to be serving fast food but had trouble getting food on their service line in a timely manner. There were a lot of people standing around and partial boxes of food (waiting for the missing entrees) sitting around and getting cold. I waited for 20 mins and then asked for a substitution just to get out of there. I would have given this restaurant the lowest rating possible except for service provided by the cashier, Ryan. He had his arm in a sling and was still doing his best to provide great service, pitching in to help other team members and trying to improve the experience for customers. read more

I tried there couple times and never disappoint. I went there again last night had a usual Chow Mien + Honey walnut prawns+ Sesame chicken it was yummy and cheap.Me and my boyfriend spent less than $20. They earn my 5 star because the guy behind the counter is always nice,polite and well trained! ,the food was so yummy and the restaurant was clean as you can see their cut veggies in walk-in freezer. For fast food Chinese food, this is exactly what I expected. For the price, I got more than enough fried rice, just enough of the Orange Chicken but not nearly enough of the Chicken with Green Beans. That was delicious! Next time I think that will be the main entree! read more

We ordered online thinking it would be convenient but it ended up being LESS convenient and downright frustrating. They said the order was ready and when I got home, it was missing three orders. When I called, they wouldn't do anything except have me drive 15 minutes back. Upon arrival, I'm told that they can't make up for the inconvenience THEY caused by providing us with what we ordered and a partial refund. They can only give us the refund or the food. Um. No thanks, I'll take the refund and my service elsewhere. I never have bad things to say about restaurants because I'm generally a very passive person but I just feel like they weren't concerned about the message this sends about their customer service. Came in around 8:00 and picked up food to go the service was friendly, HOWEVER, the egg rolls were not tasting right. I am not a picky person when it comes to food but when they made me AND another person sick I knew something was off. We called the location and politely informed them that something might have been wrong with the egg rolls we were cut off with a rude "what do you want me to do about that" "you want a refund?" I said I did not need a refund I wanted to let them know so other people did not get sick as well. I was rudely interrupted again with an uncaring tone. We come here all the time. I guess Panda is the kind of Chinese restaurant that you just need to fill yourself up but not spending so much money. One day, my son requested we eat there... but since I worked late, he fell asleep so I took the rest of the family. I got him a take out, but when we left, I forgot the bag. I called as soon as I arrived at our place and they swore up and down we didn't leave it behind. I was so upset. I told them I'll call their owner and see if they have cameras. I was calling restaurants left and right to see who still sells at that time of the night. We were staying in a hotel. Ended up at Dennys. No, not good dinner food at all. Anyhow, I didn't want to go back to Pandas anymore. But then, I gave it a try again ... I ended up talking with the manager and she offered to give me one free one, just like the one I left behind before. She told me, apparently one of the staffs threw it away. My question was why couldn't they just tell me that the time I called in for the pack. Anyway, they gave me a freebie of which my son used and I still take them there for cheap Chinese food. Want savory and tasty... maybe Got Rice or the Sichuanese restaurant would be a better choice. The orange chicken is what my kids prefer... The chow mein is definitely not good. The honey walnut is okay as well as the Surf and Turf. read more

I go here when I feel like I need to brush up on my obervation skills. Mainly because if you need your order to be accurate, you need to watch every move of your server otherwise shrimp will turn to Chow mein, those wontons you paid for, never make it into your bag etc. Of course you don't discover this until you've made the long drive to your house . Their solution is of course to drive back on your own dime for their screw up so that you can get what your originally ordered. How about that ? This store in Issaquah seems to be in a downward spiral in service. The staff up front doesn't seem capable of communicating to the cooks ahead of time. The last 3 times I've been to this location I've had to wait for common items like vegetables and Chow Mein to be made. For example today I was 5th in line and I could see the vegetables were out. The front counter person didn't request for those to be made until I asked for it. Is this company policy? On top of that, they were also out of tea. I requested tea to be made, and the register person said no problem. After waiting for about 8 minutes nobody has come out to make the tea yet. So I ask again and this time it's another employee and she replies "Oh we are out of tea." So I'm sitting there waiting and for no GD reason at all. Finally 1/4 of my vegetables consisted of a giant cabbage core, thanks! And these are the people that want $15 an hour??? This was just in one visit, my last 3 visits were not that much different. When I went in there was only one person at the steam table. Despite his obvious tiredness, he smiled and remained patient as my friend was very picky and had zero idea of what she wanted. He was very friendly and if i ever go to this specific Panda Express again, i hope he's working because he made the entire visit a lot better, a lot more comforting and a lot easier. OK, I've been in Panda's all over, but this one really has no clue how to operate. Come in 20 minutes before closing, and there's ONE person trying to help customers, the others are trying to close as early as humanly possible. Our portions are TINY because they're out of everything, and to drink we'll have the, well, wife has to have soda because they put the iced tea away, sure, why not have a thousand grams of sugar, because, oh, right, the Diet Coke is out, too, so add the sugar for me. I've worked in restaurants, I know it's never an easy job, but the soda was out because no one wanted to change it. Ice tea was out because it takes 15 minutes to clean and tidy it up for close, so they did it early, who cares if customers want it, right? As bad as it was for US, the people behind us who came and waited at the counter for ten minutes only to be ignored until they went away. I'll bet they'll never be back. I've never seen a manager there, the staff is different everytime, and none of them seem to give a damn about the customers that PAY THEIR WAGES. The company doesn't seem to either, as issues at another store got a tepid response "We'll bring this up!" and nothing happened. Yeah, the real Chinese places in town cost more, but you get treated a LOT better, and the food is a LOT better, just need to plan better. read more

They delivered us 5 meals instead of 8 and one was completely incorrect. after calling them they did not seem to care to much and would not accept any compensation for the time lost and breaks wasted. would give zero stars if possible but 1 will do. read more

I had never been to a Panda Express before I moved here a few months ago. But, we had to find a Chinese food take out here...our go-to was Top Wok in Monroe, where we lived a few years. Now, Panda Express is our go-to. It's consistent. My first experience was really good. The gal we ordered from found out it was my first time there and started putting every little morsel from every dish on a toothpick for me to try. I really appreciated that. But I have my 3 favorites...Kung Pao, Walnut Shrimp and Teriyaki chicken with fried rice...and once I find what I like, I have a hard time ordering anything else even though it's all good!! We've been a handful of times now and it's always spicy, fresh and tasty. Not bad for a fast food joint. read more

Came here for lunch. They told me the chicken I want would be a 7 minute wait. It ended up taking 15 minutes. My friend had already eaten his whole 3 entrees and side, so I ended up taking it to go. My husband and I both wanted Beef with Broccoli but we didn't see any. We asked the guy behind the counter and he just looked at us and asked what else did we want. In the past I have had Panda Express employees offer to make a dish to order when they were close to closing. However even with almost an hour before they closed they did not offer to make anything additional. They did make some additional chow mein for my son but there were customers behind us who wanted some as well. What was worst was the manager was sitting near by however she may not have heard since she was just sitting there playing on her phone. I was just shocked that with almost an hour before closing they were cleaning up and unwilling to make customers what they wanted.
