I'm not the right audience for Americanized Chinese food, but I find myself here every once in a while due to the lack of Asian restaurants in mainland Galveston County. Panda Express can act as a compromise between fast food and semi-healthy options if I don't think about it too hard. Whenever I'm traveling through this stretch of I-45, my options are limited to a bunch of generic American chain restaurants. At least I can get vegetables here. Their kung pao chicken, broccoli beef, and grilled chicken teriyaki are far from authentic but admittedly, still tastes decent in their own ways. Everything is already prepared so ordering should only take several minutes max unless they're cooking another batch of a specific menu item. Drop by for a quick meal and then try not to fall into a food coma during the remainder of your trip. Also, what kind of fast food restaurant charges for a water cup? Whatever. If you're coming to and from Galveston, you probably have a water bottle anyway. read more

This location is extremely clean! Staff was super friendly, sanitizer everywhere, and the food was delicious. I will most definitely be back I ordered a 3 meat plate, added a side, and an egg roll all of $17 and some change including the drink. I will not be able to finish all of this food. Panda is a restaurant chain so it's simply "you go to one, you've been to them all." A review is unnecessary, but since this place is a mere five minutes from my house and Yelp is badgering me to be the first to review it because it recently opened, here I am typing away. The food here is basically run-of-the-mill Chinese food -- the kind you would find at a mall food court -- but it isn't bad. I like the Shanghai angus steak and the General Tso's chicken. I don't know about other Chinese eateries, but Panda deserves credit for letting customers know that what they're eating isn't exactly the same edibles they dine on in Beijing or Hong Kong. Use to go often until months ago I was done! I was served "blackened" burned food, was Horrible! With one bite the burned taste stayed with me all day, I was very sick! Daughter, brother & friends visit often until few weeks ago but they prefer pho which #1 choice. After being out all day daughter via driv-thru, ordered plate upon opening her eyes wide confused, she received bowl portion or maybe left overs. DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION!!! I came here about 3 days ago. I went through the drive thru at 6:06 (my receipts time stamp) I was told the chicken was going to take about 10 minutes and asked to pull around to the front. THIRTY MINUTES LATER I'm furious because 1-I went through a drive thru...if I wanted to wait that long I would have cooked at home...2- again I went through a drive thru so I didn't have to pull all three of my small children out into the cold again and now I had to take them inside and 3- the lady was extremely rude when finally giving me my food. I asked for extra red sweet/sour sauce and was told I could have two extras I get home (I live 18 minutes away) I got to give my children their meals.... all three of us got teriyaki chicken, I got rice and honey walnut shrimp, 1 child got rice and one got Chow mein. ALL THREE DISHES HAD ABSOLUTELY NO teriyaki sauce, I asked for EXTRA meaning more S/S sauce and only got the 2 "extras" period that she brought out. So had I not asked for extras I would have got nothing. I'm furious about everything so I call to talk to a manager. He says put my name on the receipt and when you come back I'll fix the issue and replace the meals. I'm thinking ummmm I don't want to come back after this BS but he's trying so I'll give them a chance. Today I go back since I'm in the area (again I live 18 minutes away) I go inside and tell what happened and asked for my replacement meals. After being told "we'll see what we can do" (ummm what you better replace them....) they finally get me my meals. I asked again for EXTRA S/S sauce and was told they put two in the bag. I grab my kids and we jam to their Doctor app to eat in the car. Y'ALL IM SOOOOOO PISSED I DIDN'T CHECK BEFORE I LEFT My meal was teriyaki chicken, honey walnut shrimp and rice ... all I got was chicken and rice NO teriyaki sauce One children's meal was teriyaki chicken and rice ... all he got was chicken NO sauce and rice. There was also hardly and food places in there. We got 1/2 portions. BS The other children's mean was teriyaki chicken and chew mein... she got chicken NO sauce and rice which we won't eat We also DID NOT receive any S/S sauce like we asked for. I've been to this location twice in the last week and both times 3 hours before closing and both times they had limited menu not because of Covid or actual shortage but they decided they didn't want to prepare those items for the rest of the evening. I'm sure the owner would love to hear that business is being turned away because they are trying to call it an early night. read more

They close at 9pm. Not 9:30. And when there if they're out of rice or chow mein by 8 they won't cook anymore.

The food and the service is awesome at this store. My grandson yells, "yummy yummy" every time we drive by. He loves it. Plus all the staff are very friendly. The managers are always smiling, the employees seem to enjoy their jobs, it's just a great place to eat. We love it. read more

Went here for some dinner and first I was told I had to wait 7-8 minutes for the chow mein to be cooked, which was fine but when I was able to get my food. I noticed that there was only 4 pieces of chicken in my $9 bowl. Extremely disappointing, not to mention my food was cold from the 6 minute drive home. Fresh and hot food where?? Bc it ain't here that's for sure. I had to come back and add that after getting all of the food out of the bag, 2/3 orders were not correct. I will never be coming back to this place. Be careful at this location and make sure you get all the food that you have paid for. My wife was not so lucky. She called and the manager John said he would fix it. So she took a chance that they would fix the mistake. When she arrived they parked in the front and said they had to make the food that was missing. She parked and waited for 30 minutes and called them after a while. They acted like they thought she had left. She then asked for the manger to come out. When he arrived he acted as if it was her fault for not giving them receipt and they not know what to give her. So the first lie is they where cooking food that did not know what to cook. The second lie is when you park a car do not act like you do not know they are there. With rant coming to an end be careful of this place and do not trust the manager when says he will fix it. read more

This is a good location of Panda Express. The employees are always friendly and serve customers promptly (even though they're "juveniles" like one review says). The food is always fresh - the employees can be seen chopping fresh vegetables, actually cooking (not microwaving), etc. I gotta deduct a star tho cuz the white rice is ~never~ fresh. read more

Well, i was there today 5/09 around 4:15pm Went thru drive thru and no one ever greeted me just with a rude voice she said " can i help you?" Ok Once i gave her my first order she didn't let me finish ordering, just game me my total... once I'm at the pickup window.... chicana lady was too busy talking to her young co-workers... without saying anything she took my money gave me my change, then my food and ignored that i wanted to add another plate to my order....closed the window on me! Service was horrible. Went in to order our food not only did they not offer me and my fiancee to sit in ,the cashier tried to over charge me. Good thing I checked my receipt. I wish there was an option for 0 stars. This location is terrible all around. My mom ordered the two item meal of chicken teriyaki and chicken broccoli, but the portions were completely a ripoff. No more than a palm full of rice and the same for the chow mein. Being a panda express fan for many years, we have never had any issues with a portion problem but this time was ridiculous. When my mom told the manager, Grace, "is that considered one portion?" She said "Yes that is one portion" and did not bother to put the actual amount of food. My mother replied "Well that is absurd" Because the manager wanted to charge us more when we were not even given the right amount of food we paid for! The customer service was terrible, especially from the manager, Grace. If you're going to work in customer service, learn how to keep the customer content. We left unsatisfied and hungry just to come eat at our home. Don't even bother coming to this place , spend your money somewhere else! I did notice we were the only ones there, so that must be a sign. We felt ripped off of our money for the amount of food they provided us. read more

My husband went here today may 2, 2018 at 8:45 pm and they had the door locked when he tried to tell them to unlocked it they were shooing him away until a white family came then they unlocked the door. So basically if the white family never showed up he wouldn't be able to get anything because apparently they're racist against black people. And this location doesn't closed until 9:30pm in the inside so beware people of color I will be calling corporate!! This is the second incident that we had to deal with at this location. read more

My first time visiting this new location after I swore off the league city location. I was 3rd in line and waited almost 10 minutes just to get to the window only to be told that my order will take another 7-8 minutes. So, I was told to pull up and park and they would bring the food out to me. At the 12 minute mark I am still waiting for my food and it doesn't look like anybody is heading outside. So, defeating the purpose of driving through I get out of my car and walk in. I tell them I placed order 20 minutes ago and I don't have my food yet. He looks at my receipt and immediately makes my plate. Are you kidding me?!?!? You mean you had everything all ready and nobody had even made my plate yet? From the time I placed my order until I walked out of the restaurant with my food was 24 minutes. I would have talked to a manager but unless the manager is in high school there wasn't one present. I recommend eating at one of the other actual Chinese restaurants in the shopping strip across the street, I know I will. read more
