Chili Crisp Shrimp with steamed rice
    Chloe H.

This was my second time at this Panda Express location. There is ample parking because it shares the parking lot of a small shopping center. Inside was orderly. It wasn't crowded nor noisy. Only two tables were occupied. Staff wasn't welcoming. There was no greeting upon entry nor at the register. I had scheduled my order for pickup via the app to avoid any potential lines at 1:00pm. I had the Chili Crisp Shrimp with steamed white rice. It was very tasty. The portion was good for lunch serving. I wish the rice had more sauce on it. It's a good option for grabbing a bite if you're in the area.

Community involvement. A book fundraiser. What's more important than the chance to read?

Returned to a popular spot that I frequent when I'm In the area. Service was fast and friendly. This location has had the teriyaki chicken in stock for some time. That used to be a problem. I got a take out consisting of teriyaki chicken with honey sesame chicken and noodles. Lots of teriyaki sauce. One of my favorite combos. Hit the spot. The only real negative is not the Restaurant but the location. Close to everything hence lots of traffic. Be careful getting in and out of the parking lot.

Family Feast for $25 (regular price $35)
    Lisa L.

3/29/20 update - Family Feast is now $20 on sale until 4/17/20. Must order online. Pickup is arranged on tables based on your last name. Our order was ready at the stated time. Very good deal and worth trying! Prior review There is a special promotion on the Family Feast until 2/2/20. Get $10 off $35 when your order online and use the promo code SCOREBIG. You select 2 side items like rice and noodles and 3 entrees. Note $3.75 exchanged for shrimp and steak entrees. We ordered on Thursday, 1/30/20 for pick up at 8 pm. We went to directly to cashier and our food was all ready to go. The food was tasty and plentiful for 3 people.

What I really like was that even though it was late in the evening the food was still hot and fresh and the staff was organized an friendly.

I can't believe I spent $12 and I was still hungry. The chicken is so hard to find here. They cut them into microscopable pieces.

The restaurant is tucked away on 7th Avenue in Laurel. I had a hard time finding it because it looked like an apartment building complex. It's across from 7 Eleven and there are shops below the apartment building, I ordered the chicken garlic dinner. It comes with an eggroll and pork fried rice. The price is amazing and they give you large portions. My garlic chicken was delicious. I would definitely come back here again.

I placed the order online and it was ready pretty much when I got there, which was within the pick up timeframe listed. I appreciated that they had an online ordering option, even if it was through Grubhub. The inside is rather small. I think there are two, maybe three very small plastic tables. However, it definitely seems like a spot where the same folks go regularly. Everyone inside seem to know each other, and they were all engaging in a nice conversation. The food itself was fine. I think it's about the same as any other carryout. The wonton soup I had was very basic and not my favorite. But they did include the crispy noodles for free. Also worth noting, their lunch special price of eight dollars or $8.50 was legit. And for the price, the portion was great. I definitely want to stop by in the future and maybe try something else.

We have been familiar with the area for years, as my father-in-law lived 3 minutes away, and recently we realized this was his go-to carryout. After 3 visits, I can say it's one of the best in the DMV, thanks to its flavor and food choices. You will find Japanese options like sushi, American-Chinese dishes like orange chicken, similar dishes, and Cantonese food like roast duck, Hong Kong-style noodle soups, and whole fish. They are family-owned and operated. Every time we come, the elder father is always gracious and provides excellent service. The restaurant is always quiet; you can hear conversations in the back, and as customers arrive to pick up their orders, we haven't witnessed any negative interactions. Customers are always happy with their food, and the staff say thank you. The only negative is the space. The building itself is older and outdated. In the summer, it is hot, and now in the winter, there is no heat. They have found ways to make it work, like space heaters on each table, but it can still get uncomfortable if you are dining in. The back area near the bathroom and the bathroom itself need a thorough cleaning. To me, it's a turnoff; it doesn't affect the food, but it does affect the dine-in experience. Again, overall, I love their food and believe it's a local gem worth a try.

I asked for recommendations, although I knew I was going to get their infamous Lolipop Chicken. It lived up to the hype! While a tad pricey for one person, the portion is HUGE and I will have leftovers for days! The chicken was piping hot and flavorful. I also love noodles, and recently hand pulled noodles. You can literally hear them slapping around your noodles in the kitchen! I also ordered the spicy seafood soup, which was recommended. I liked the chicken a little more than the soup, but the soup was a large portion as well and very shareable. I washed my meal down with a Korean beer.
