Pretty solid spot for Asian noodles. I do not recommend their shumai. Frozen shumai from any grocery store is much better and fresher. Youpo mian was pretty good.

This is one of my favorite spots but is always best if eating in. I got this order through DoorDash and it seems that more times than not. The food comes lukewarm at best it has to be reheated. I started out with the eggrolls which are very good but at the same time are pretty darn expensive. Overall the place is somewhat expensive, but everything is made to order even all the noodles. The Sesame Chicken was quite tasty as was the spicy beef but the meat was quite tough considering it was thinly sliced. The pot stickers were a bit underdone and cold so we warmed them up. Lastly the jalapeño bomb was surprisingly enjoyable. The burst of flavors is something I really look forward to again. I would say it could've been just a little less crunchy and it would've been perfect.. We'll make sure that on the next visit we eat in.

Wow..I'm surprised I never took the time to stop by Fun Noodle Bar after almost 5 years of living in ABQ! I honestly thought that it was a very Americanized Chinese restaurant all along until I got to talk to one Chinese lady who also lived here and told me that the food here was good! So, I was so determined to get here one day after feeling a little homesick for more authentic Asian food. Usually I would end up at a Vietnamese or a Chinese place I had been to, but this time I wanted to try something new and I'm so glad I did choose Fun Noodle Bar. The staff were nice and it was so no frills eating there. I did get a pan fried bao and a Chicken Fun Noodke soup (but I switched our chicken for beef instead!). I also loved that I could pick the neat I wanted for my pants fried bao (i chose pprk because pork was probably more traditional style of bao). And oh, after my first bite of the bao, all I could think of was wow...that hit the spot for me! I actually debated ordering more..but that's probably too unhealthy to be eating two servings at once!! The noodle soup was ok it tasted good but a little bland for my taste. Next time, I would probably try the real Chinese style noodles like youpou or thick flat handmade noodles with some chili based soup instead! No photos thus time as I was so hungry looking for food that I forgot to bring my cell phone to take photos. But you bet next time I'm there, I wthere! enjoying and exploring more authentic options there again soon!

My first visit to this establishment was November 1, 2025. I went for lunch. It's in a mall so there is plenty of parking available. It took me a little while to find their signage. The decor is pleasant and relaxed. Friendly staff greeted me as soon as I walked in and seated me immediately. The menu has lots of nice choices and pictures to help you understand what the items are. I had spicy wontons and beef with noodle soup. Both dishes were visually appealing. I particularly like the very thin slices of carrot covering the wontons. The wontons themselves were tender, and although described as spicy, it was subtle. The soup was delicious. Several nice thin slices of beef, bok choy, and noodles in the broth. Spicey but not overwhelming Prices are reasonable.

Delicious food.... Got the spicy beef ramen and devoured it post haste. Also have dumplings which I'm imagining are excellent... But I will be back later this week to confirm.

Good place for Asian food in ABQ. The dumplings are good and the ramen was very tasty and flavorful. Service was great and lots of parking available in the plaza. I would recommend if you're in ABQ!

    Beef Potstickers

For awhile l found myself curious about this place. I finally decided to give them a try. I went ahead and ordered by phone. The staff took my order but I found it strange they didn't ask for my name. Walking inside the place looked pretty nice. Very relaxing. I really enjoyed their live fish in the tanks up front. I ordered the chicken fried rice and added an order of the post stickers. I'm not gonna lie I was thrown off when they asked if I wanted beef, pork, or chicken. I'm picky about the pork just cuz I've had some that I wasn't really into. So curiously I went with the beef. I'll be honest it was a bit bland even with the sauce. I really wished I'd chosen one of the other two options. The fries rice I also found to be very bland. The chicken had much more flavor. The price point was fairly reasonable but I'll be honest I just wasn't all into it. Maybe I ordered the wrong dish but I favored the potstickers more than the fried rice. Maybe next time I'll explore the menu more to find something I'll enjoy more.

Quick place we stopped by for pick up. The restaurant seemed nice and clean. Fast service and order was prepared up on arrival time. Popcorn chicken was good and crispy. The little one liked it a lot. Would reorder in the future. The crab Rangoon is recommendable as well. So glad it came with a sweet and sour sauce, and not a green sauce we've been getting at other restaurants here in NM which we are not accustomed to. I really liked the Pad Thai. It has a distinct taste, I think more fishy in a sense but it brought all the flavor out altogether. Noodles were soft, but was surprised it had chowmein noodles in it. So that's also different. It was ok, but I'd prefer the regular pad Thai noodles. Orange chicken was crispy and well flavored. Would reorder next time again. Black garlic ramen was pretty good, but wasn't as garlicky as we were hoping it to be. Overall would return and re-order some of the same dishes we had & try others

The place was nice and the service was quick. My partner and I spent at least 15 minutes looking for somewhere to eat and once Fun Noodle Bar came up, we had to go. We got an appetizer and two entrees with a bottle of plum wine. The food was good, not fantastic but good! I wish I had more broth in my dish compared to noodles but that may just be me. The portion was decent so it was worth the price at the end of the day. I spent about 100$ for 3 dishes, a beer, and a bottle so keep that in mind. Would highly recommend coming in and enjoying the quiet and yummy aroma.
