I had seen a lot of people suggesting this restaurant on Facebook and decided to give it a try. When we went it was just after 3pm so dinner prices. The prices for the dinner combinations they had available were very fair along with the prices thru out most of the rest of the menu. The inside was well lit and smelled so welcoming and delicious. It was sunny inside but not uncomfortably so. The waitress came over fast to take our drink orders and brought them and soup out within our first 5 min. She was very friendly and quick. The food was fresh and delicious. The portions were big and left enough for another meal. The vegetables in the meal and egg rolls still had some crunch. The egg drop soup was the only sad part for me.. it wasn't bad... but it left much to be desired. Otherwise it was an amazing experience all around!

Walked in a little after five and there was only one couple seated. Started to get busy around 6pm, but most of the orders were for carry out. Service was a bit lacking and it took over 40 minutes to get our order. A few people decided to walk to Applebees, instead. I ordered the curry shrimp and my partner ordered the chicken fried rice. There was a great aroma from the curry, but both dishes lacked flavor. I was hoping for a better experience because I like going to small local places. However, i don't think we'll be back.

From lunch menu. No cooked noodles, only crunchy. Fried rice NO. Only white rice with soy sauce!

All our to-go lunch items did not come with 'fried rice' as the menu says. Just like pictures show, only given white rice with soy sauce on it. Not what we wanted. I use low salt soy sauce. Plus menu shows they charge an extra $2.50-4.50 to substitute fried rice for white. Never again

The gentleman manning the raw bar was all around excellent, extremely helpful when it came to helping my partner figure out what oysters would suit her tastes. Our dedicated server was less helpful. Although she suggested a dish for me as non dairy, the bread that came with it ended up being soaked in butter. Fortunately the gentleman at the bar saved the day and brought some toasted bread, sans butter. Cocktails - 5/5 Both of the drinks we had were excellent. Not oversweetened. Good evolution. Hook Platter - 3/5 Oysters were deliciously fresh and the fact theyre flown in daily really showed. The prawns were large, but I found them a bit overcooked for my taste. The class were similarly nothing to write home about. The tuna tartar was fresh, but not particularly flavorful. Perhaps a fattier cut of tuna might make it stand out a bit more. The sauces, however, were both excellent, and made the prawns a bit more tolerable. Overall, I'd recommend skipping the platter and just ordering the oysters. Red Curry Mussels 4/5 - For better or worse the bread dipped in curry sauce is the best part. The mussels themselves were good, but there were also several unopened ones left in the dish. The vegetables included in the dish didnt really go all that well with the curry base either. With some refinement, this dish could really be improved, but it was reasonably tasty as is. Overall, I can comfortably say LURE is an excellent choice for cocktails and oysters, but if thats not what you want, there may be better places to be. However, with some investment into the rest of the menu, LURE could become THE seafood destination in Albuquerque.

We got the boil added clams and black mussels more then half the mussels were unopened which we saved let them know. "We can cook them more was the response we got" If you know anything about shellfish you should know If mussels don't open when you cook them, the usual rule is: don't eat them. * Most of the time: a mussel that stays closed after cooking was already dead before cooking, and that can make it unsafe to eat. * Food safety rule: toss any that don't open after being fully cooked. So absolutely not and risk getting sick I complained said I want them removed do you think they removed them NO they still charged us for half when I had 14 mussels sitting there unopened. It was crazy do not come here the food is decent but they obviously do not care about customer satisfaction or food safety.

We initially decided on this place because they offered oysters on a half shell. I figured they would be small oysters, but no, these oysters reminded me of the size of gulf oysters. The oyster dish came with all of the fixings, horseradish sauce, cocktail sauce, tabasco sauce, lemons, and crackers. I enjoyed every single bite. We ordered a seafood boil dish combo #2 that came with Dungeness Crab Legs, shrimp, clams, sausage, red potatoes, and corn in a crab house cajun sauce with heat level medium spicy. The boil came out just as I finished my last oyster. I failed to take a picture of the beautiful seafood dish before us. Plan to get messy with this place. They put down paper on the table when arriving, and they give gloves and a bib to wear. I took off all of my rings and I got busy cracking and peeling. The cajun garlic butter sauce was so flavorful. I couldn't get enough of it. I swept and dipped my seafood pieces around in it until I could scoop up enough to enjoy with every bite. Our server was attentive to our needs, and the bathroom was clean upon my visit. I didn't mind the walls and poles that were written on. It added its own character.

Usually I need to ad a little salt. Not with this one. My only complaint about the meal was the loaf of bread. It was a crusty baguette, but there was nothing to cut it with. She was very patient and took time to explain the special menu they had for a three course meal that helped benefit the local food bank. She was very attentive, but not assertive. It was well decorated and had a pleasant atmosphere. However, being seated next to the bar AND the kitchen, it was quite loud and noisey. The servers were very noisy slamming the tray stands around. But, I am not going to deduct a star for that. If we had sat elsewhere, it would not have been so bad. Would I go again? Absolutely. I recommend that everyone should try it at least once!

No biggie! I just chopped it up myself. The bacon on it was scrumptious and the salmon was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The salad dressing was a creamy vinaigrette and it went perfectly with the dish. I recommend! We shared a Crème Brûlée that was HUGE and delicious as well. I ordered the passion fruit lemon drop drink and it was tasty and strong. The service was prompt and kind. He got all of our orders correct and was highly attentive. I'll definitely be back soon!! This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. Having convenient on-site parking was a nice bonus, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our server, Christopher, made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement, and the fresh salad with homemade dressing was a great start to the meal. To top off the evening, the staff surprised me with a three-flavor sherbet dessert complete with a birthday candle and a thoughtful personalized birthday card. It was such a sweet touch that made me feel truly celebrated. We couldn't leave without trying the German chocolate cake, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu the next time we're in town.

And yes, the food was delicious, but good lord, I haven't had this bad of service since I can remember. I think the younger girls working were related to the woman cooking, but I implore you... take The Girl in the Pink Shirt off of the register. I asked if the food truck was still open and she just stared at me. I asked if the shrimp platter included fries and she just sort of rolled her eyes upward and barely answered. I paid and she just left the register. I waited a minute or two and had to get her attention to ask whether I should return to pick it up, if I should get a number placard, etc. And on top of that, she was consistently you visibly arguing with the others in the truck every time I was up there. Like, girl. You are in a public-facing position of service. Act like it or don't do it. Furthermore, I paid for my food at 6:37pm. (I literally checked my credit card.) By 7:18, when I went to check on the status of my order, I was told by the older woman/owner she "had the fries ready and was fixin' to drop the shrimp." Why it took 41 minutes to drop some fried shrimp is beyond me, but at 7:21 I finally had my food after going up to the window two more times to inquire, while juggling a grumpy two year old in my car because all my friends had cashed out and already left. Needless to say, I won't be back for a $20 dish that took almost an hour to make on a random Tuesday night, though I do hope they spend some time adjusting their systems and working to improve guest satisfaction because they could easily corner the market on Cajun food in Albuquerque.
