Very portion control here they count the shrimp they give you. Even though they are tiny they charge extra just for 7 little pieces. Not adult size servings and you get all broccoli with the broccoli beef. They give you small portions and if you dare ask for a little bit extra you have to pay, even for two extra pieces of beef in the broccoli. The food was not fresh looking sticking together kind of mushy looking even the rice so I walked out. I walked and I said no thanks after all to the girl who was giving me child size servings in the entrees and all rice in the plate. She said have a nice day in a smarty alec tone like I'm going to have a nice day after that and after I was trying to bring dinner home to my husband after a long day they want to give me left over light portions that would of cost $12.45 just for two entrees of hardly nothing and all rice. Got the pepper steak as one of my meats. I got two pieces of steak. All the rest were vegetables. I got four honey walnut shrimp and then they just stacked a s*** ton of chow mein and rice. Not good at all. This place used to be so good but it is just going down. Took my dad here for lunch today. We frequent this place a lot but I've never reviewed. The quality i about the same as what you might find at most panda expresses. Pretty basic food, Very filling. The bigger plate is a LOT of food for one person. You will leave feeling fat and stuffed. The items like honey walnut shrimp and shanghai angus beef are super savory and tasty but expect a small uncharge at most locations. Im not a huge fan of the noodles. Pretty bland if you ask me. This location was fine back when the dining room was open pre-covid. They're actually the only restaurant I know of with their dining room still closed. So silly. Our family used to go here once or twice per week before March of 2020. However, we haven't been back since approximately May of 2020 after they would repeatedly get our orders wrong in the drive through. Wrong drinks, missing food, wrong food, you name it. They can't seem to get an order right to save their lives. I finally took my daughter through the drive through here the other night after she begged and pleaded. She loves their orange chicken. After delivery fee on top of tip and the amount the food was itself the order was $59 and change. I just went to this location ordered my food then returned home. When I was home I took a bite of my food then realized they gave me the wrong entree, I return and made them remake my food. They made me give back the wrong plate before they gave me my food. I've been sick and they made me give them food that I began to eat while sick and then this woman didn't even change her gloves. Nice place but the staff were not on their A game. I waited for my ragoons to be made and after the chef had put them out, the girl just stood there and did nothing. Food was good as it usually is at panda but was real disappointed in the cream cheese Rangoon's. I got the Beijing beef and chow mein noodles but I tried the Peking chicken which was new and I enjoyed it very much. If I could rate this dish with no stars or better yet a negative star I would. My wife and I each ordered their new Pan Seared Steak & Shrimp for takeout. It was basically inedible as it was so very, very dry. They charge extra because of the steak & shrimp. My bowl had 2 shrimp and maybe 3 bites of steak. The rest was made up of potatoes that is advertised as being crispy. It was mushy and dry. Even the rice was dry. What few bites I had , I had to wash down with water just to swallow. The container was mostly rice. My advice is to stay away from this dish. Besides being a rip - clearly not worth the $8 per bowl, it was awful! Every time my family and I crave panda express I'm willing to make the drive to Allen because the one in McKinney,TX is not only super slow but also the portions are very small and the service is horrible you wait outside for some fresh food and even that way the portions are small and the orders are incorrect I ordered a bowl. I drove all the way back home which is a 10 minute drive to open it and have only four pieces of orange chicken how is that OK and half a portion of Chão mein. And when you call they are very rude and tell you to bring back the plate and receipt and at the point it's just very annoying & frustrating.
