Chick-fil-A January 21, 2026 (5/5) I stopped in hoping they might still have the Christmas Peppermint Milkshake, and to my surprise, they did. What made this visit truly memorable, though, was the people. The staff -- including the store manager -- were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. In contrast to how unfriendly or rushed many businesses feel today, this location stood out for its genuine warmth and courtesy. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing, and while Chick-fil-A is usually extremely busy, this quieter moment allowed time for conversation. We were able to chat, share a few laughs, and connect in a way that felt natural and unforced. It felt less like a transaction and more like a real human interaction, which is increasingly rare. Service was efficient, the restaurant was clean, and the overall experience was calm and pleasant. This visit reinforced why Chick-fil-A consistently sets the standard for customer service. I took my daughter to Chick-fil-A after a movie. She ordered nuggets and a side salad, and this is the salad they gave her. So disappointing. No green lettuce at all. Just chunks of white lettuce. This particular Chick-fil-A location is one of the worst. Whenever I go to pick up food, they almost always forget to include condiments, salad dressings, etc. Unfortunately, calling to complain yields no meaningful resolution, as they offer a complimentary meal, which is often forgotten and never redeemed. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with fast food restaurants. Their service is subpar, and their prices are excessive. Ironically, they recite the order back, including the salad dressing, yet fail to include it in the bag. read more

Horrible managers and owner They refused to refund after they messed up my order. This is owners discretion. Tried to call her and fix the mess to and she still didn't replace or add the correct items to my app like she said she would. Then I call and a kid chandler asked if I was high trying to be funny cause I had mixed up the managers name. A lot more issues to the story. Just going to plan stops at other locations. Great food. Great service. I like to go in and eat because you get a little more time with the staff. The drive thru line can be long but it always moves so fast. They're very accommodating with special requests like no ice in drinks, serving lunch items during breakfast hours (with a few minutes wait), subbing buns for multi-grain or gluten free or even lettuce wrap. One thing I don't understand is why they don't list spicy chicken as an option for the breakfast burrito/bowl and even the grilled cool wrap when it's totally an option. I love the spicy chicken! I usually don't leave feedback for a fast food place unless they're really bad or really, really good. This Chick-fil-A location is the latter! Awesome new location, enthusiastic staff, fully staffed, and very clean. This place is way better than the nearby Chick-fil-A at Eldorado and Ridge, which has again closed its dining room. Our food arrived at our table (we used the app to order) within 5 minutes of placing the order. My sandwich was well prepared and our fries were hot. Shush! I have a secret! Although, I really don't want to share it with you. This Chick-fil-A is the best-kept secret in McKinney. It's never as busy as the one on 75 or El Dorado. The lines are never long, and it's always quick service, Chick-fil-A is known for its five-star service, friendliness, and cleanliness. This Chick-fil-A has it all. It is a hop skip and a jump from my house. I frequent it often. This Chick-fil-A is welcome to the McKinney eateries. I'm glad it's added to the Lake Forest and 380 intersection. read more

This is usually my favorite CFA and that's saying a lot, I worked at a different location for 2 years. Usually the staff are amazing, the lunch rush is never usually that bad when I there, and it's ALWAYS clean inside! However yesterday my mom gifted me a reward via the app, I went to the store and tried to redeem it as it's all I had to pay for lunch. The reward wouldn't scan and I tried to load it into my app and use it, I got an error 404 message saying the server was down. When I showed the manager, she said all they could do was give me the phone number for tech support. I remember as a CFA employee, when someone was having issues and it was the company's fault we'd take extra good care of them and that is not want I experienced yesterday! read more

We were eating and one of the workers starts checking every single table BUT ours!!!!!, I was like, it's ok no big deal, I got up order more food to go and got a refill on my drink., here comes the the Manager Erick now and starts checking again every single table, picking up trash and refilling drinks BUT ours!!!!!! One thing this Chick Fil A lacks is attention to detail (i.e. following substitution or omission requests), but other than that it's another CFA with amazing fries, amazing chicken, and amazing customer service. It certainly took a while for the staff to get their groove after opening this location not too long ago, but they found it. They don't go in the order of the cars. I've been skipped numerous times. They'll assist cars that arrive after me first but bc the car in front of me was taking a long time. I've also been here where cars were there before me and they had me wait a few mins to help them. Poor service. If I were a different shade I'm sure I'd receive exceptional service read more

I love chick-fil-a and I just started coming to this one, although my order is never fully accurate. I never receive my sauce and don't always have napkins. another issue is my sandwich, I prefer it to be cut in half and the order takers always say they can do that. When I get it it's not cut in half and i'll look at my receipt to see if it was added and the specifications are not normally followed. I also noticed that the order takers are often the ones to forget to add the details which is why my sauce is not normally given nor my requests to a sandwich. I understand mistakes happen and love all the people here, but the order accuracy makes it very aggravating. read more

Went here, ordered well done fries. The guy taking my order said "alright, let me write that down for you." After receiving our meals, we noticed 1. they gave us 4 ranch's for $37 worth of food, and 2. the fries were soggy as if they pulled them out the fryer a minute early. When we went back, the same fellow asked what we wanted and we said, "we ordered well done and didn't get any," and we were very polite about it. He smirked, asked in his mic if they did well done fries, and then said "sorry, we don't do well done fries." then why did you write it down? also, I have never heard of a CFA that doesn't do well done fries. just a bad experience, and coming from someone who used to work at CFA, customer experience was adjacent to popeyes. read more

This restaurant far exceeds any fast food restaurants I've ever been to! It only takes a few minutes from ordering to receiving the food. Very courteous and polite employees! The food is always fresh and hot. My first visit I had a chicken sandwich that I had to let it cool down before I could eat it! I highly recommend this restaurant! read more
