The experience was shocking. I walked in 2 in the afternoon to lovely half filled restaurant with customers chewing happily and holding conversations. Short to no line it was all looking up. I was asked to order and I chose to order a bigger plate with 2 orange chicken and 1 beijing beef with a side of white rice. They prepared it quickly and checked me out. my companion checked out separately and that is when i saw them pour one of their new sauces into an old sauce. it was then that i thought to myself that they had broken so many culinary rules and values that i was disappointed. But i took the food home anyway and though i would love to say the food was great it was subpar at best as i had food poisoning later that day and i hadn't even eaten more then a few pieces of the chicken. $11.24 wasted. I always get the chow mein, but always end up with a cabbage and celery salad. It's like the later it gets in the day you get served the scraps that accumulate at the bottom of the serving platter rather than fresh noodles. Ordered from a food delivery service and was not onsite to realize what would be served. There is soooo much cabbage and celery it's over powering and inedible. Panda Express is the McDonalds of Chinese food. This location opened up in October, so it still looks clean and new...and like it belongs in a food court. The food kind of tastes that way, too. It wasn't the worst Chinese food I've ever had, but I've definitely had better. read more

I was hungry and confused lolol!!! My sister invited me to have lunch with her at Panda Express and most likely that will be my last. When I entered it was very clean and there was plenty of setting and the staff was friendly but the food yikessss!! Let's just say if that was chicken they were serving it tasted like a piece of rubber that was breaded and then spread an excessive amount of sauce I guess to hide what that was... I probably ate a quarter of my food and then gave it to someone not to mention the amount of calories that food had it just wasn't worth the extra fat lol. I had the chow mein with some chicken that I named on my picture but forgot the name as I'm typing cause it was a thought that I hope I soon forget. I flippin love panda express. Takes like 3 seconds to get my food, its cheap, they give out free entrees like 3 times a week. Granted, this one time I found a chunk of steel wool in my food, so that sucked. But then they gave me 2 free plate coupons, so I forgive them. Just left this place with two wrong orders when we arrived home. This place was pure chaos with five children trying to serve up food in front of a $13 an hour help wanted sign. This is the new American nightmare! Overpaid managers letting 16 year olds run roughshod over our simple orders showing a glimpse of what's to come (I'm only half joking). Ordered the family meal on the Panda Express takeout website to take advantage of their 35 years promo and though I enjoyed the quick pickup I can't say I loved the food. I was there 2 mins before my ready time and order was ready and didn't have to wait. The only add on was chili sauce and they did not give me any. The Orange chicken and spicy chicken was really soggy and mostly breading. I feel like it might have been better if we could have thrown them in the oven for a bit but unfortunately we are renovating kitchen and don't have an oven The noodles had way too much cabbage. The fried rice was ok after adding tons of soy sauce to flavor it. I don't believe I will be ordering or going to this Panda Express again. Way too many options to throw away money on just "ok" food. If this was in the mall, I would have walked on by - but I'm glad I didn't. Situated in the gigantic London Square complex, this is cheap and simple Chinese served on paper plates with plastic utensils. If it wasn't called Panda Express or located in London Square, it might be one of those hole-in-the-wall charmers. I got the cheapest meal option - two entrees and a side for about $6. The entrees include different types of chicken or pork or beef (you can sample them before picking). I found the Kung Pao chicken to have quite a kick and it was well cooked. The orange chicken was equally well done and I usually cannot stand orange chicken. A heaping portion of fried rice served as an excellent side. The space inside is bright and clean and the staff are upbeat and helpful. I haven't eaten panda express in awhile so my first experience (again) wasn't bad. First the inside and outside of the restaurant was well maintained, the lady that took care of me was pretty pleasant. I like the fact that she offered that I take a sample of meat/chicken that I had questions about or was thinking about getting which IS GOOD because you don't want to buy something that tastes like crap. The pricing of the food was reasonable, though I'd wish they didn't put A LOT of rice it was decent.. Over all the food, the restaurant, staff and price was good. I order from here quite a bit since it's so convenient and close to work. I always order online and have only had to wait for my food once and the wait wasn't that long either. The food is good for what it is.... I do prefer the options at Pei Wei, but sometimes it's just easier to go here. I usually only order the String Bean chicken and the sesame chicken breast... since I prefer white meat. The string bean chicken can sometimes be a little bland but for the most part it's usually good. Not sure why there aren't better reviews for this place... It was my first time ever getting Panda Express through Uber eats, I was given the incorrect drinks of Gatorade instead of teas ,the noodles I got were hard and had no flavor the only thing good was the sweet chicken very disappointed with the quality they had also added like an "extra of carne" i don't know if it was for convenience from them but the liquid ended up all over the bag when opening it. read more

I ate takeout from here at a party. Absolutely disgusting food. Fried rice was pale, tasteless and had peas and carrots. Lo mein was tasteless and had very skinny, hard, chewy noodles. I can't comment on the chicken as it was all cheap thigh meat and I can't stand dark meat. I honestly do not know why this place has so many bad reviews. I came in and had the brown fried rice with orange chicken and cream cheese Rangoon. Everything was delicious and fresh. Really tasty! I also tried the fire cracker chicken and it was quite spicy. But also very tasty. The portions were huge and for the price, you cant beat it. read more

The food if you got lucky and get it fresh, is not bad. However, must of the time it stays in the steam for hours and it gets dry. After 8:30 pm you will have to eat what is left over cz they will not cook anything new. Supposedly the kitchen close even does they will be open for another hour. And even though the food will be dry and old they will charge you as if it were fresh maid. Fair right? A good place you dont rate it just for the food when is fresh maid, Is also for the service and the quality of the food during the entire day. This isn't gourmet food - it's fast food Americanized Chinese food so my stars reflect that (so this is measured against other fast food/ fast casual places). I've found this location, which is VERY close to my house, to be consistently better than the few other locations I've been to. If you ask for something to be made fresh, like if there's just a bit of something left and it's clearly old, they'll always make more of it for you, you just have to wait a few minutes for it (never longer than 10). Chow Mein, Brown Steamed and Fried Rice are all usually fresh along with Orange Chicken. Particularly, I really really enjoy their Chow Mein and their Brown Fried Rice. Other entrees that are good here are the Shanghai Angus Steak, Teriyaki Chicken (with the sauce on the side - it's way too sweet and too much - a tiny bit is fine if you need it but a bit of soy sauce is even better), and the Sweet Fire Chicken (very much like the Orange Chicken but a bit lighter tasting). Stay away from the Broccoli Beef & String Bean Chicken - I wish they were edible because they're some of the healthier menu items but the veggies taste absolutely terrible, I can't even describe the taste - it's just BAD. All of their fried appetizer-type items are good - the Chicken Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, and Crab Rangoon (dip these all into their plum sauce - it's much better than any of their other sauces). I've read complaints in other reviews about the portions being small and I have to say that I think that these people must be insane. I always get the 2 entree meals for take out, usually with half Chow Mein and half Fried Rice and I'm given an insanely huge portion of both of those and very healthy portions of the 2 entrees that I choose. It's so much food that I can never finish it in one sitting and if their one entree bowl wasn't just $1 less I would order that instead. I think you get a TON of food for the amount of money you spend and it seems a lot less greasy than most other take-out Chinese and with the ability to choose smaller amounts of a few different things, it's more economical as well. Again, of course, this isn't going to be the best meal you've had in your life but it's solid take-out Chinese-American food for a good price. Also, I've found the people working here to be incredibly friendly and even downright lovely, a few of them have been so nice that after a rough day at work they've actually made my day a bit better - they are almost always very apologetic if I have to wait longer than a couple of minutes for something to be cooked (which I really don't mind at all) and often will offer me a small drink to have while I'm waiting. One can't expect somebody to be nice to them when they are being treated terribly. Furthermore, complaining about things which employees have no control over (like whether things are in stock or corporate policy) is futile and just makes everyone frustrated ... I see it all of the time in this town, a customer is VERY VERY rude and then gets mad when the retail employees don't bend over backwards for them. read more

Two stars and that's being generous. This place is a "Chinese" fast food restaurant. The food is mostly ok, except for the white rice which is pretty bad. It's a step up from a McDonald's or BK, but not by much. If you want Chinese food, go to a real Chinese restaurant. Ok so we walked in at 8:30pm and they had already closed the kitchen! Really and you close at 10pm? They had absolutely no food on the line...needless to say my family and I walked out! I never write a negative review unless the company deserves it...in this case they did!
