Everyone knows I'm a big fan of Ohana subs in Aiea, so when my kids went to Costco on Sunday and they texted that they were going to stop at Jersey Mike's because they open at 10:00 on the way home and it was 10 o'clock in the morning. I said OK I ordered the number 1BLT sandwich needless to say at 10 o'clock in the morning, I honestly believe it was day old bread. I'm used to soft puffy bread...this bread was bite, tear and chew forever. The bacon, while an ample amount , was thin and flavorless, the tomatoes were paper thin and a scant layer and the lettuce.....it was there. I asked for mayo only and no vinegar or oil. I got mayo again a scant amount. This was the driest, chewiest, most flavorless sandwich I've ever had from a sub shop. My order was wrong. I asked for a #13 Mike's Way. Unlike Subway, you are unable to see your sandwich being made. When I got home and opened my sandwich, there was only meat and cheese. None of the other toppings that come with the sandwich "Mike's Way" were on my sandwich. I wanted to leave a good review because they deserve it. Been coming here a lot the last few weeks and the sandwiches have been fantastic. Fresh and delicious and generous portions! They are also friendly and notice when I walk in. I order online and the food is ready before the estimated time. I also notice there are always enough workers there to cover when it's busy, and it often is. What made me leave this review is I went to a different location over the weekend and it's sole worker didn't acknowledge me and my sandwich had one sliver of meat which made me appreciate Pearl City location a bazillion times more. If you think ordering online is going to save you time, you'd be mistaken. The estimated time is rarely ever correct. I was told 12:51. Cool so 20 minutes after I ordered, no issue. I walk in at 12:51, order isn't ready. Still I get it, lunch rush. But when I walked they were about 15 people deep in the walk in and order line. Visited here on Sunday, August 4, 2024 after my Sam's Club run. This location is in the Pearl Highlands Center on the top floor just to the right of the food court main entrance. It can be a very busy parking lot, especially on the weekends. It's easy enough to find parking, it's a pain to leave because of cars waiting on the traffic lights off Acacia Rd. Placed my order online. Their website is very user friendly plus they have a rewards program. It's been several yrs since I ate here last & at the time, I didn't think the quality of the food was as good as the mainland locations. I was willing to try them again since I've always loved their sub sandwiches. I had read on previous yelp reviews that there is not a designated pick-up area for order-ahead & that you'd have to stand in the regular line. I was ok with that if the line wasn't long. I got there just at my pick-up time & yelpers were correct, there is no sign to indicate where to pick-up to-go orders. Considering it was already 2PM, they were very busy. I looked at the line & it was out the door, at least 8 people. I waited a bit before deciding what to do. They had several employees working & hustling to get orders out. As I waited, 2 guys walked up to the register & waited until somebody caught their eye. A lady standing next to me said that's where you pick up orders. I saw another lady waiting before the 2 guys walked up & it seemed like she was being ignored & waiting a long time. The one guy got his order & the other had to wait another minute. I moved up & let the same male employee know I had an order & showed him the order info off my phone. It took another minute for him to retrieve it since the one guy's order was ready, Shortly after that, I had my order. I ordered the #13 original Italian - regular on wheat, Mike's way. Regular size is about 7" & the basic sandwich consists of boiled ham, cappacuolo, pepperoni, prosciuttni, hard salami, & provolone. I added on dill pickles & Mike's Way at no extra charge. Mike's way includes: onions, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend, & salt. I requested no salt & cut in half. That whole combination with the meats makes it a great tasting sandwich. The bread itself is larger/wider than Subway's. The deli meats along with the veggies, is piled high & hangs over the edge. It makes for a large sandwich & a bit messy to eat. They do cost a little more than Subway's but you get what you pay for - a delicious & filling sandwich with quality deli meats. I ended up eating only 1/2 the sandwich & the other half later. You can't go wrong with this place - ONO food My only suggestion is to put some kind of sign up by the register for pick-up orders & open another location in the Aiea/ Pearlridge. read more

On Monday February 2nd around 9:30 to 10 am, i was waiting in the food court for jeresey mikes to open and witnessed one of the jersey mikes employees , looked middle aged filipino lady, pick something up off of the ground or maybe out of the ground she then loudly announced something about "food cost" and proceeded to put what appeared to be deli meat into the meat case i got up from my seat quietly and left. i was absolutely appalled to see this out of an establishment that i had trusted many times before and i have not been able to stop thinking about it since. i was disgusted and i still cannot bring myself to eat here at this location again or any jeresey mikes for that matter read more

Since moving to Pearl City recently, my family and I have come here often! We've been to the other location in Hawaii Kai but so happy that they are in our neighborhood now. The sandwiches are delicious and made fresh to order. The Rosemary Parmesan bread is my favorite. My husband's favorite is the Philly cheese steaks while mine is the California Club sub, with fresh avocado and bacon you can't go wrong! My boys love the ham and provolone sandwich, which is simple yet still so good. Each time we go there the staff is always friendly and one time my twin boys even got a free cookie from them! Using the Jersey Mike's app makes ordering and picking up a breeze plus you can get Jersey shore points to get discounts on your future orders. So it's a win win! We love Jersey Mike's! On April 24, 2025 @ 1:30 pm I came to Jersey Mike's. Seems like the one female is the one greeting people and getting your order correct. All the males in this location is super lazy. So lazy that it's like watching paint dry. While I was waiting for my sandwich to be prepared a male team member just stood there. Versus asking will this be a meal? How do you want your sandwich? It took a good 4 minutes for my sandwich to move from the slicer to his location. Finally he asked how do I want my sandwich? It gets even better. After I'm rung up they asked me if I needed a bag? I said yes this is to go. He puts myself in a bag and then grabs another bag and puts the sub in that bag. Then place is it in another bag. I didn't know that I needed that much bags. The process was so slow with a lack of customer service and acknowledgment from your team members. It was seriously like watching paint dry. I came to Jersey Mike's after a dental appointment. I haven't actually been in the Pearl Highlands food court for a while so I decided to check it out. Not many places was open because it was still kind of early. Jersey Mike's is located right outside of the food court. I was a little hesitant to get a sandwich because they are a bit pricey. But I just gave it a try. I got the chicken philly sandwich. It had chicken, grilled peppers and onions, and white cheese. I had them heat it even though I wasn't gonna eat it for a little bit. The people working there were friendly and the service to make the sandwich was fast. A few hours later, I dig into my sandwich. It's great. Normally after a sandwich sits out, it gets all gooey and soggy, but this was still good. I didn't even microwave it and I could still taste all the flavors in the sandwich. Plus a bonus is they have a rewards program. Every purchase you make will give you points to free sandwiches. I think last time my daughter was able to get a free sandwich. read more

I was first introduced to Jersey Mike's when I heard you could get a free sub meal on your birthday. Such an awesome deal! My first experience at this Jersey Mike's location (actually my FIRST Jersey Mike's experience ever) was last year and one that I didn't even want to bother writing a review about because the experience was nothing worth mentioning. What turned me off the most was the wilted looking veggies that did not look fresh at all. Fast forward to this year's birthday...received my birthday email to be told that instead of redeeming a coupon, my Jersey Mike's account was loaded with 80 shore points (72 that could be redeemed for a regular sub and 8 points to keep my Shore Points going). While I was a little hesitant about going back based on the sadly crafted sub I got last year, my boyfriend encouraged me to give them another chance because he's a fan of their subs and hasn't had issues with them at other locations. I ordered a regular Portabella Cheese Steak (hot sub) that included thinly sliced strips of steak, fresh portabella mushrooms, peppers, onions, and white American cheese. It is one of the pricier subs, but it was my birthday reward so I figured why not make the most of it. I really enjoyed this sub! As someone who isn't into thick chucks of meat, I really enjoyed how finely sliced the pieces of steak were to make it easy to eat. I only ate some of it because I had another food event to attend to later in the day and didn't want to spoil my appetite, but it was still just as good when I warmed it up in the microwave (1 minute wrapped in saran wrap) to eat later on. My boyfriend ordered separately since he has his own Shore Points account. He got The Original Italian (cold sub), which included provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni. He got the giant sub that lasted him two very enjoyable meals. A better deal if you don't mind eating the other half later on. I was actually impressed with his veggies, so I take back what I said about my experience last year. They definitely have their fresh veggies game going on now. I learned later that there are different bread options - white bread, wheat bread, rosemary parmesan bread, gluten free bread (for $1.50 more). No one asked me what type of bread I wanted so I didn't know there was a choice. Upon checkout, I entered my phone number to bring up my Shore Points account. The machine asked me to enter a security code. What is that?!?! The manager (Chad) was the one ringing me up and said that he wouldn't be able to redeem my points for the free sub on this visit unless I could enter the security code. However, I would still earn points for purchasing the sub. Bummers! He said that the same issue happened with another customer and he had to go through a lot of trouble with tech support to fix that. But he said he would do it again for me to fix the issue. I left my name and phone number for him to follow up with me. The next morning, Chad called me to let me know he spoke to tech support and how to fix the issue. He said when I registered for the Shore Points program a year ago, I was prompted to create a security code. I guess since it had been so long since I signed up that I didn't even remember. He told me all I had to do was go to the Jersey Mike's website, login to my account, and change my security code. I found out that you can even deactivate that feature so you don't have to remember security codes in the future. They provide that as an extra level of security so no one abuses your Shore Points account. Thank you Chad for being so prompt in addressing the issue! Your follow up really made me feel like a valued customer. Delicious food, wonderful customer service, awesome rewards program...you bet I'll be back! Pro Tip: I was told if you sign up for their Shore Points rewards program in store, you won't run into this security code issue. It only becomes an issue if you sign up on their website, but you will either need to remember your code or deactivate the feature. Definitely sign up for this rewards program though because they give you enough points for a free regular sub on your birthday. When you earn 48 points you get a free mini sub, 72 points a free regular sub, and 144 points for a free giant sub. A kid's meal earns you 3 points, mini sub 4 points, regular sub 6 points, and giant sub 12 points. read more

Quick Talk Story Time: So one time I witnessed an interaction with some elders who were slow to choose and Esteban (the guy taking their order) was super patient and kind, the elders ended up insisting I go ahead but seeing how this was handled made me love this place even more, I also have gone here at least 4 times since and got that cold sandwich everytime that Esteban made deliciously. Let me start off with, I really love the subs at Jersey Mike's and it is definitely my go to place for subs. Unfortunately the sub I had a couple of days ago had the had really dry and hard bread. In fact I think it was the wrong kind of bread. I'm a traditionalist so I always get my subs with white bread, but this time it had a strange dry topping on the crust (see picture).
