I only ever had Panda Express once in an airport somewhere and thought it was just fine. I'm a big fan of Chinese food so I was excited when Siouxland got a location. I got the Orange Chicken with lo mein. It was very, very tasty. I had a little too much onion in my lo mein than I would have liked, (the smell was a huge turn-off) but it was the first time trying the restaurant so I didn't know what would all be included. The chicken was wonderful. Not too much breading. Perfect amount of sauce. Great portion for my money. I'll just get rice next time instead of the lo mein because the onion was overpowering and I don't think they can make it with out it. I will ask if they can, but I enjoy rice as well. I don't love their packaged soy sauce. I like what I have at home a little better. It's not bad by any means, I just enjoy the flavor of a different brand a little more. Didn't it go in, only used the drive-thru. They were quick, nice, and food was hot and packaged well. Even included a fork, sauce, and plenty of napkins. Today in the morning I took my family to eat Panda express, it was one of our options that we had in mind! We finally decided to arrive. Entering we were shocked! Trash trash everywhere.. all tables dirty! Even the employees walking over it... some of them seemed to be having a good time on their phone! This store definitely needs to change managers.The food was the only good experience because it was delicious but I don't think I'll go back. Order a meal through the drive thru, got home and it had very little portion and was not fresh pretty dead on arrival. Called and spoke with the manager and return the food but she wood not refund for the one meal so left the meal on the counter . Today was the first time I've ever been to this Panda Express location. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, but I wasn't expecting this either. My very first bite of chicken was pink and slimy. I spit it out and realized I had just eaten very undercooked chicken. I went inside and asked for a new meal. I got one with no hassle. The boy who helped me was very kind and respectful. I have tried and tried to give this place a chance. Strike 10 and I'm out! They often don't have what I'm hungry for, when they do- I STILL have to wait, they forget things on my order and when I go back they act like it's my fault. I've tried the online ordering and have had minimal luck with that. Waited 35 minutes after the app said my order would be ready. I enjoy Chinese but will sadly have to try someplace else to find it. Went there for lunch. It was pretty expensive for what it is, other then that the food wasn't too terrible. Problem I had was the restaurant was very dirty. The bathrooms were very gross and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Also the tea tasted like it was old or something. Here is my experience. This restaurant misses on all aspects of dining. They did not have two of the entrees that I would have eaten. Ok so I should settle for less. The place had a "garbage" like smell. Was it the food or a sanitation issue? Lastly, you have to stand there waiting for the poor staff to acknowledge you are there. Mistakes happen...I understand, but using chicken that has gone bad CANNOT be excused. All the sauce in tha jar couldn't hide it. We frequent this restaurant often and have had issues in the past that have been forgiven. This time I gave my son his order and did not touch mine for a while after. By the time I smelled/tasted mine he had already dug into his. He said it tasted "off" but ate it anyway. Now I wait to see if he ends up with food poisoning. The place when I walked in smelled good and appeared clean. I ordered the Low Mien with fried rice and teriyaki chicken. The chicken was fine but the low mien and fried rice were both equally gross! Almost every time I have gone to eat here food has not been great. Got teriyaki chicken with white rice and steamed vegetables, the veggies were raw, no teriyaki sauce (even when I asked for it), and rice had clearly been in the cooker for a while because it was crunchy. This place is terrible I ordered a 3 entrée meal with mix veggies in the drive-thru I received my order and drove home on the northside of Sioux City when I look at my order they didn't give me my mix veggies so I drove back and told them they forgot my mix veggies and I wanted a refund no apologies what so ever with the so call Manager standing nearby I use my card so it was refunded back on my card I drove about 6miles back for this . I had to wait 15 mins for my food and when I did get it, it was wrong and cold. I love panda express but this one in particular is pretty bad. I eat here frequently. Always friendly staff, food is consistent, they give out good portions (the majority of the time), waits are never too long, they offer free entres for quick online reviews. They have appeared to try to make things right when things go wrong. We've got a good selection of Chinese food in town and I still find myself choosing this place frequently above others that are more authentic. read more

I'm giving an extra star because I like the food and the servings are very generous so I will keep going back because I know they will eventually get it right. I keep filling out the surveys to let them know they are not up to par with other PEs on customer service. Service is so slow & trays are never up to compliance as they should all have at least 1-2 servings ready at all times. They never have enough help at the front. I have been there 7 times since they opened and it never changes. First time service was great, they were swamped with customers as they had just opened in 2015. read more
