This place is great, and I'm not sure why we hadn't tried it sooner! We saw this spacious location a few weeks back, and it is larger than most Panda Express locations we have seen, and made a commitment to try it one day. The wife and I ordered just one item for our lunch - a 3 entree "bigger" plate for $12.10 and we knew it would be plenty for both of us. On top of that great value, we used their mobile app for the first time, and also saved an additional 20%. For the 3 entrees, we picked their signature orange chicken, Beijing beef, and teriyaki chicken, and made the one side a 1/2 of white rice and 1/2 chow mein. It was a delicious and satisfying lunch for us. There was a bit of excess battering on the orange chicken, but that was just fine. For the price, one really can't complain. Next time, we may try the broccoli beef and kung pao chicken, and they have plenty of delicious entrees to try. This is a busy location and there was a continuous line at about 12:30pm on a Wednesday and that surely helps to keep all of the entrees hot and fresh. The staff here was very friendly. When I got there on a Saturday shortly before noon, I was looking at the sides for the super greens, I did not see them or a sign for which pan they were in, so I asked if they had any and the woman kindly responded she would go ahead and make a fresh batch. The woman who rang up my order was also very polite and personable. When I got there I was a little surprised to find many of the dishes empty or nearly empty. I thought so close to opening hrs the pans would be filled with fresh dishes of everything, but I'm sure they'd make any dish if you just asked. I always get chow mein noodles as my side, this was the first time I tried super greens and I really enjoyed them. They were crispy and fresh and tasted great with the sauce of my entree mixed in. I like that Panda now offers different sizes and you can select greens (90 calories) as one of your sides. The greens are really good (combo of broccoli, cabbage and greens) and garlicky. I also like that they now offer a bowl size (1 entree + 1 side). They were chopping grilled chicken with a cleaver (teriyaki chicken - probably the healthiest option) although I went with the incomparable classic, orange chicken. When I come to this location, I'm always greeted promptly and the staff is super-friendly. I don't know why but this Panda Express food is tastier (to me) than other PE locations. I think due to high turnover of the food items, the food is fresher. I order the bigger plate which comes that comes with 1 side and 3 entrees, I ordered the chow mein, orange chicken, sizzling shrimp, and black pepper angus steak. I also ordered the cream cheese rangoon and egg roll. Since Panda Express started a point based rewards system on the app, I purchased a 4th entree Beijing Beef, to take home for later. Best Panda Express in the area. Lots of choices- even when we came in at 8:15 pm on a week night, all the pans were filled. Even though I tried a few things, i stuck with the tried and true orange chicken. Did like that aside from their standard noodles or white rice, you could also get brown rice or extra steamed veggies. Friendly staff gave us a few samples before we made our decision. The only thing that threw me off is their "to go" bowl that used to be round now a to go "square". They were the perfect size for lunches and I already had a good selection of them going. Ha ha. When I arrived, I went straight to the "Online Order" line, which was basically right next to the cashier. I stood there for about a couple of minutes with no acknowledgment from the staff at all. After seeing the cashier taking care of three customers, I had to pipe-up and ask if this was the "Online Order" line. That is when finally she said "Yes" and she did apologize. Maybe I have high expectations of online ordering, but I would expect that ordering food online meant you can get your food at a much less wait time, and also, the food would be ready for me. I'm gonna be honest here, you have two options: Door #1: You walk in and survey a next to empty display of everything they serve. You look around to find the numberless patrons who just consumed said emptiness and find maybe three people in the whole place. You scratch your head and try to do the meaningless math while you are ignored by at least two employees who are surprisingly busy, albeit not replacing food. You eventually get service and you wait 5-10 minutes for them to cook your order on the spot and you go home mildly frustrated, yet satisfied. Door #2: you walk in to a line of less that 3-4, with several tables filled and survey the same emptiness that you would if the restaurant was desolate. You are greeted by almost all the employees as one starts to plate your order and then another takes over, and then ultimately the bossy Asian manager butts in and finishes your order. This interaction consists of you confirming to three different people that you want the orange chicken and Beijing beef. You feel like announcing to the crowd what you want, just so you are all on the same page. You still wait for food to be cooked on the fly and you leave mildly frustrated, but yet satisfied. I think it's a poor management situation going on. I'm always trying to figure out why it takes a minimum of three people ladle up chicken into a styrofoam container. But alas, despite everything, my husband and I find ourselves back there for the crack they put in the Orange chicken. read more
