This past week, I came here for the second time to grab some lunch. My first time around, everything was fine - just your typical dining experience that you can get at Panda Express. After eating here this week, I definitely do not feel the same. I completely agree with Gaby C. below me... as soon as I walked in the door, I felt like they wanted to get me out as quickly as possible. There was one person ahead of me and no one behind me, so there was no reason for the older man employee to have been so rudely rushing through giving me my food. It was so quick that when he asked me if it was for here or to go, he wasn't even listening to me and started putting a lid over my food, when I clearly said it was for here. It's not a big deal by any means, but I would rather spend my money elsewhere. Also, I got the Shanghai Angus steak, which is a $1 more than any other options they have. I knew that because it says it on the description and he also mentioned it before giving me the food. That was fine, however, it was not fine that I literally got 3 maybe 4 pieces of steak MAX. If you are charging me more money, you can at least give me the same amount that I would get with any other meats. Anyway, I was pretty irritated and did not end up enjoying my meal. Needless to say, I won't be coming back especially since there are so many other options in the area. read more

Panda Express. What can I say? I used to think the food was so so. I used to eat it quite a bit when I was back in High school. However, recently, due to an increase in my dedication to fitness, someone told me that the teriyaki chicken has 32g of protein in a serving. Compare that to the 16g in the orange chicken or the miniscule amounts of chicken you get at chipotle, and you can see why this place is getting more of my business. 2 entree meal with teriyaki chicken and some vegatables and you have a half-way decent protein packed meal. read more

I hate to say it but this was the fine cuisine from this area that I chose. But the black pepper chicken and teriyaki chicken were great. Did not get anything else because one they did not have brown rice and second the lady and two kids who suddenly were attached to my hip looking at items wherever I was in line, ticked off my chick so I cut the visit short. read more

Lots of food, but just not that great. In fact, I'd say "eww" to anyone inviting me there. It was after I went that someone told me there's no good Chinese food in Chicago. Now I know. This is not Seattle. This is not London or Vancouver BC, where it is great. It just seemed fatty and less than flavourful, and somehow the whole experience less than exciting. They changed their portions. Smaller. Last night at 8:30pm they were out of white rice. The crab rangoon was almost all rangoon and very little crab. One worker wearing tennis shoes standing on the stovetop to wipe down the cooking hood. A little gross. This is in the shopping center near chunky Cheese. We have been loyal customers for over 5 years. The last few times we let it slide, but now it's consistently going downhill. No longer our favorite. read more

I placed an order online for pickup and ended up coming a bit earlier than the pick up time. I had to wait a few minutes before the order printed out at the register(they only receive the orders 15 minutes before the pick up time). The place wasn't busy at all, with only a couple of people dining in. A few people walked in and ordered while I waited for the cook to finish my steamed veggies. While I was waiting, I checked out all the food that was laid out behind the glass and was impressed. I used to be a cook for another Panda Express location a few years ago so I was able to tell that the cook at this location was on point with everything. Nothing was burnt and everything looked very appealing. The servers were not as friendly as I would have expected, but it was alright. They weren't rude or anything so that's good. If I were to eat Panda Express again, it would probably be at this location. read more

So I came in today for dinner and didn't wait no more than 5 seconds to get served. The server, Cheska I believe, was amazing! She was quick, served the right portion of food, and was VERY polite (something you don't see a lot of at "fast food" restaurants anymore. The whole beginning to end of my order took no more than 30 seconds, and I didn't even feel rush, which was great. Definitely a great server and a great atmosphere! My name is Kelsey, and I've honestly never been more pleased with Panda Express. This store goes above and beyond to attend to the needs of there customers. Cheska as general manager with speed and diligence gets the job done. John the cashier always rings the bell for donations and EVERYONE although a bit creepy follows with thank you. Gerland the cook always makes my steak just right and cheche and DEDE always with bright smiles when telling me to have a nice day. I have eaten here once before when I attended a conference across the street at the Holiday Inn. Today was the same situation. I wanted to come here because it is quick and you can find some items in the menu that are on the healthier side. I had the rice and some chicken with vegetables...what you would expect from a Panda Express. The place was packed and seemed to be clean enough. Parking in the shopping center can be difficult and I almost got hit while pulling out by a crazy driver but thats not the restaurant's fault. Also, you have to enter the center and make several times to get close to the shop and do the same to get out. Overall, this was god enough for something quick and easy and somewhat the healthier option in the area. Less impressed with the ease of getting to this place. read more

I love this location, always had a great experience. But I am very dissapointed that there is no changing table in the bathroom. I have 2 kids, my son is 2 months old and I don't think it's right that I was faced with deciding to change my son on the floor or in my car. I hope this can be remedied so I can continue to go to this location. read more

As an update they called me back and said I could come in for a free meal that would have both brown rice and soup. Of course the meal I wanted had very little in the pot so they were going to cook it fresh for me. So again I was waiting for food that was not cooked. They did ask me if I minded waiting and I said no but did not realize it would take as long as it did. There were other people waiting for their orders too. The vegetables were good but everything else was not so hot. Unless I was going only for veggies I would go somewhere else. read more

I came here after going on a shopping spree with my mom all day. I was starving the entire time, but my mom promised she'd get me food if I went with her. When we entered the restaurant, all the food was behind a glass panel so the food was visible to us. At first I was suspicious of it, but then I noticed that every single platter had smoke coming out of it. I ordered Chow Mein with orange chicken, but didn't know what to eat as a second entrée. The lady making my food offered me free samples for whatever I wanted to try, and after multiple tastings I decided to get the sweet fire chicken. Unfortunately, at the time they didn't have any orange chicken. They told me I had to wait, and I was really bummed out. What I didn't know was that I had to wait like 15 seconds before they rolled out fresh orange chicken. There's no wall separating the front counter and the kitchen, so I could see the guys in the back preparing all the food. The process from me ordering to me paying for the food took a grand total of 3 minutes. 10/10 customer service, 10/10 food quality, would most definitely come here again. read more

There were a few people in line and everyone behind the counter chipped in to make things move quicker. The food was VERY fresh. Did not look like it had been sitting around for a long time like other PE. Friendly and smiling workers. Said hello. Said Thank you and Goodbye. Everything was so clean (some other PE's not so clean) Windows were clean and bright. All tables and floor were clean. Bathroom was very clean and fresh and had all needed supplies. Went to this location tonight sunday march 2 ,2014 . The young man in there was very nice on the other hand the young lady at location was not the young man was filling containers up and there was know problem until he started filling my containers he put a half spoon of beef angus on my plate as he got ready to put the other half in my container she snatch it out his had and close the container now there was about four or five people before me and she said nothing and they were getting whole spoon fill up .The only difference between me and other customers I happen to be of color .I would not recommend this location when she is there especially if you happen to be of color.I go to there locations every were in chicago and she was rude and apparently does not know in the customer service industry all people should be created equally.Also woke up at 1am with food poison chills vomiting never going back. read more

I came here a few days ago, and this location sucked, and I have to agree with the customers who said like they were being rushed, I definitely felt that way too, especially when there were no customers behind me or in front, the employee was pacing up and down waiting for me to order like she was in a hurry to go somewhere. I ordered the 3 entrée + 1 side meal to go, she gave me two small scoops of Beijing beef, and my 3rd entree of beef and broccoli in a separate small container, I looked and she put two pieces of beef, two teaspoons of gravy, and 6 pieces of broccoli, I asked for a little more beef, but she ignored me and said she already put the beef, very rude, pretty much paid a little over 9 dollars for 3 tablespoons of meat, 6 pieces of broccoli and cup of noodles, overpriced with small portions, this place is like most fast food places with poor customer service, rude employees, half the time getting the order wrong, rushing you in and out without any quality service. read more
