4 stars for the Burrito House. Definitely a great place to go late at night since they're open so late, and an even better place to go after a night of drinking! The prices are reasonable, the portions are massive and the food is greasy but tasty. There are plenty of places to sit inside the restaurant as well, The sauces are bland however, definitely needs more spice and flavor. But if you're in the area late and not much else is open - stop by Burrito House! read more

Fresh made burritos for a good price. The king burrito pastor is my favorite. Would recommend.

I never like to leave bad reviews, especially for local business, but I don't have many redeeming things to say about the food. My burrito and nachos were both somehow really wet and soggy. The nachos had baseball park fake cheese sauce on it, not real cheese. The best part about the food was actual the side hot sauces. Both the green and red sauce were great. The employees at the restaurant were nothing but pleasant and the food was served fast. The restaurant itself is nice, not too big or too small, and a good place to sit for a quick meal. read more

09/06/22 - Newish Place (about 1 year) @ 6249 N Milwaukee Ave just north of the Elston/Milwaukee merge & just south of Super Dawg on the east side of Milwaukee only 2.5 miles from my house. I drive down a Milwaukee Ave all the time. I was looking for something fast and easy and found this on Yelp. Super clean & well lit with all their food appeared to be carry out (at least tonight while I was there). They do have a large clean dining area. I ordered a king steak burrito. They have good quality meat w/the right amount of fat mixed in for flavor (no gristle). read more

I'll preface by saying I'm a huge fan of the Burrito House location on Elston and Kimball. I've been going to that location (and when they were on Addison) for many years. However, this location is a lot closer now so I figured it was worth checking out to avoid the drive. The decorations on the wall are cute and the space itself is inviting. Pretty big dining room, but not too many tables either. I personally always take my order to go, and I haven't been to this location during "busy times" so I can't speak on if it's easy to find a seat or not. Staff is friendly and ready to take your order at the register and you get to see your food being made which is nice. I do wish they wore gloves when prepping though. Food is pretty quick and tastes fresh. I got the steak nachos supreme - pretty big portion and very filling. My friend got a jr burrito - it was good, but a tad on the salty side for her taste. Overall, I would recommend this spot to someone craving Mexican food in the area. They're also open late on the weekend I believe. It doesn't beat the other location in my opinion, but it was a good experience. read more

Ended up with a couple of soggy meat and cheese burritos, the toppings were nowhere to be seen. Couple of small thick hard pieces of lettuce made it but not a tomato in sight. It was dripping with grease. On the plus there was a generous portion of meat. Rice was dry. Maybe we went on a bad night but we won't be back. This is comparable to TBK. Went in for lunch to try out the new restaurant. Everything was good. My only comment was the steak was spicy (Hot) to the point where I think my kids would not like it. It made my nose run. People who like spicy food would like the steak buy I prefer to add my spice with hot sauce. I think all restaurants need to clean their tables when people get up to leave and there was a dirty table when we walked in, especially during COVID. Also on the slow times, wash your windows. If you gave me a steak taco or burrito from here and a taco and burrito from TBK I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I swear they have the same recipe as TBK. This new Burrito House is fantastic! Immediately walking in the place is pristine, the colors are inviting and vibrant and the natural light floods in making it warm and welcoming. I was immediately greeted by the owner who is super friendly. All of the staff were wearing masks too! I ordered three tacos and all of them were so good! My person favorite was the pescado!
