I noticed that the chicken always tastes like soap/soapy. I then took the time to look up and see if other people tasted the same thing. Sure enough it seems many people noticed it and it is possible that the yellow spray cleaner for the grill is the culprit. It has to be rinsed extensively with hot water and this is apparently rarely done/rinsed. I am so upset with my self that I ordered food several times from there and have eaten chemicals that are very dangerous to ingest! on/from the teriyaki chicken. I will never ever eat there again. Typical south Euclid fast food experience. Service is automated or nonexistent, food is made wrong, and getting your money back when (not IF) they screw up is near impossible. Order online to skip the line seems great until your food is cold, wrong, and impossible to replace. Go to the Chinese restaurant next to little Caesars instead of wasting your money here. The protein dishes like their orange chicken are usually fine but their starches have been consistently poor for me. The noodles are always dry and flavorless without any signs of ever being fried. The rice my most recent visit was actually under-cooked and still had crunchy grains in it. The fortune cookies are only there maybe half the time. I always know what I'm getting when I go to a Panda Express. It's not the best Chinese I've ever had but it's consistently delicious and exactly what I want sometimes. I have been to this location twice. The staff does not care about you. I had a coupon for a free item and the cashier just crumpled it up and charged me full price. I let her know beforehand when I first started ordering. I asked for a side of white rice along with my two item plate (required to order to get item for free). She said "I will charge you for a three item plate since the rice will be $4). All I got was mushroom chicken and orange chicken with chow mein and white rice. I feel cheated. Let's be fair, it's a Chinese take out and some eat-in if you so choose. So comparing against other fast food, this is not bad. It's clean and the food is always fresh. And let's also be honest, East side of Cleveland, exccluding Asia town, has horrible Chinese food choices. So a Panda Express, as pathetic as it sounds, is bring up the curve on the Chinese food scale here. I'm from Chicago area and the sight of this new Panda brought Joy because I've been sick of the mystery brown sauce from all the other Chinese joints. Terrible experience with manager today. Drove 30 minutes to closest panda express because we felt like eating panda express, was 10 minutes before store closed and entree selections were almost gone. Wife and I ordered family meal and asked if we can combine whatever was left of two entrees selections as there was about half an entree worth of each left, on top of two other full entrees. Server said that should be fine. When manager checked us out at register found out we got half entrees and said "it was store policy that we cant get half entrees" so would have to charge us for an extra entree if we wanted the fourth selection. When we tried to explain the server said it was okay, manager kept saying it was "store policy." Where is this policy written? We got irritated and left, decided to go somewhere else to get dinner. Not a very good look, makes Panda Express seem very stingy. We're trying to help them out to clean up their entrees before close. Why do they even have the entrees laid out for sale if they cant "per policy" serve it as a full entree? read more

The new manager really knows how to run a store well because the food is so good I end up eating here about three times a week. They've quickly become my new favorite restaurant. Gross "chicken" and mushrooms...very oily and salty. It tasted like a $1 michalinas frozen entree. The chicken is so processed, it's like chicken nugget filling...had a fluffy, chewed-up texture. Only giving two stars because it's Chinese, and I LOVE chinese. That being said, I've never had an excellent experience. Today was the worst. I only got egg rolls and cream cheese rangoons. My egg rolls were burnt, the staff seemed annoyed that I was interrupting their conversation (I'm pretty sure the one girl may have even rolled her eyes at me and she practically tossed my bag of food out the window) and my food didn't come with anything. No sauce of any sort. No napkins. Nothing. To my understanding, they are supposed to, as I have received them in prior visits without asking. I'm not here to complain about the quality of food (let's be honest...it's not gourmet), but rather the staff. There are two people managing all drive through and counter, and one cook. Almost guaranteed long wait during dinner hours. Now, don't judge me, I'm not writing on the quality of food, but on the overall experience. My other half absolutely loves Panda. So, when we heard there was a new Panda coming into town (as they're in literally every other city, but CLE), he leapt for joy. I've had Panda in multiple other states- and it's your typical fast food fake Chinese food. This Panda surprised me though- very modern, ample parking, clean, and fast service. I'm not sure why the other reviewers hate on this location so much. Sure, the service is a little confused at times- but what do you expect- having worked in retail food settings before, if you have a million of people coming at you wanting their deep fried fake Chinese food, being all hangry, of course it would be hard to get the orders straight! The classics at Panda were good- the Beijing beef was deep fried nicely, as well as the orange chicken. The Kung Pao had a nice bite to it, and the other sides (chow mein, fried rice) were what you would expect. Ordered the honey walnut shrimp once- wasn't a fan of that, as I had expected the mayo shrimp like texture- it was just deep fried batter surrounding shrimp. Overall though, I liked how the food wasn't sitting in a bed of oil though. Also, they are really generous with their portions- if you order a plate, you probably could make it into two meals. It's super clean and modern inside and for what it is, I give Panda a pretty high rating. It's what you expect for an Americanized Chinese food place. read more

But my husband is a big fan of their orange chicken and fried rice, and after being a frequent customer back in my college days, it has some nostalgia for me. Fast food shrimp is often sketchy, but the Pacific Chili Shrimp is surprisingly good. Service is fast, the restaurant itself is pretty clean, and prices are reasonable. I don't know where to start. Potentially great place but just odd how they operate. 10 bucks gets you a 4 oz scoop of meat, a pound of undercooked broccoli and a warm bottle of pop. Came in today for lunch and placed an order. But it was the drive thru girl who was at the counter taking my order. In the middle of giving the order, the girl walked away to go talk to the line cook for several minutes. 5 minutes later asked, "What did you want, now?" She prepped my order and bagged it up but left it on the counter saying "she'll ring you up". But nobody came back while my food sat getting cold. A few minutes later, drive thru took my money. The bottles of pop sit in a half inch of ice. Place is reasonably clean but the workers all have ADHD. Must be a requirement to work there I presume. read more

Let me start out by saying that I have been a customer at other Panda's Expresses outside of South Euclid around the United States. Based on my experience this place is not up par with their other locations. This location is never open at the times stated on their business, the employees do not arrive until 10:00am and they open at 10:30am. When they open they have nothing ready and I have had to wait between a half hour to an hour for my food. Dallas is the manager and he should be fired immediately as he is full of excuses and does not have a clue how to run a business. Their floors are very slippery and someone is going to get hurt and fall as a result. I suggest their tear up the floor and replace it immediately as they are not safe. I have decided to stop going to this place due to the horrible customer service and wait times.
