From 5 to 1 star. None of the stuff can work under pressure during rush hour. Also it is very unacceptable to have me wait 20 minutes for my mobile order. Same old order plate of teriyaki, eggplant half chow fun and super green. It should not take 20 minutes over the promised time when it's supposed to be ready. The place gets loud and disorganized during rush hour and it's very disrespectful for the customers who are already dining in. An excellent manager should be able to delegate its team to manage and operate regardless of wok load. Apparently during today's visit, that manager was not leading. This visit was a waste of time and really a downright disrespectful.

String Bean Chicken Breast (Real order from Wahiawa location, Panda Express on 11/2/2023)
    Jay C.

The portion of the String Bean Chicken breast is unacceptable. They gave a full bowl of rice with a lot of string beans and tiny bits of chicken. I will be following up with the manager at the Wahiawa location, if no response is made. Otherwise, I will have to contact the main office / Panda Restaurant Group to file a formal complaint. Other than that, customer service was fast and friendly. Food quality taste is also perfect

Fast service and reasonable prices. Food was ono and a lot. Super friendly staff. Had enough food to feed my family of 10.

$9.50 plus tax mostly chow mein Ordered extra shrimp and only got for pieces I ate one.

I've tried so many different pandas and I think wahiawa is the tightest with THIER food. The first time it happened I was like maybe cause was busy, scoop fast, not much on the spoon ok I let it pass. I just went there and ordered $44 dollars worth of food Paid for extra honey walnut shrimp and I was given 4 pieces of shrimp and I also ordered the new almond chicken and got 4 pieces also. My plate was mostly chow mein. Super disappointed

Such a smart idea for drive thru. I don't like getting out of my car and dining in or making a phone order. The parking lot is odd. Long parking stalls, why? What for? Blocking in someone so they can't get out? Why even paint the line so far? The design is just odd. When the drive thru line is long and pours out onto the street, cars block others from passing through. That street already has too many cars parked on the road. Not worth it. Lady reminded us to wear a mask when pulling up to the window. Put your payment method on the food tray and she'll hand it back to you shortly. Lifted cars welcome, height clearance is 7'6".

Can I just say I LOVE Panda Express! Their food is so good and everything tastes fresh . I was so happy to see that they opened this location! Now when I am craving it I don't have to drive too far from Schofield Barracks. And they have a drive thru!!!! Customer service here is always great, friendly, and quick (I don't usually go during lunch, so I'm not sure how quick it during those hours) . I love their noddles (chow mein) orange chicken and kung pao chicken. Their beef is good too and my husband like their teriyaki chicken. I get my kids a bowl to share with noddles and chicken and green beans . They eat it all .

The food is always good. Usually come here after church. Friendly staff, a little language barrier but still friendly. The staff didn't clean the tables, people were coming in and out, didn't see anyone cleaning the tables before people sit down. Had to wipe down our own table before we sat down to eat. But they don't forget to ask for donations every time lol.

    Grayish/old greens

I am a frequent Panda Express customer but rarely visit the one in Wahiawa. After this visit I will NEVER go back to this location ever again. I placed my order to go (like always), gently placed it flat on the passenger seat on top of a towel just in case since I know take-out occasionally leaks a little bit, and drove home. 10 mins or less after leaving this PE, I went to pick up the food and the bottom of the bag had largely disintegrated, oil soaked all the way thru the beach towel onto the seat below, and it was still literally pouring out of the container when I picked it up and lifted it across the console and my lap before I realized what was happening. I put it back down and transferred the food into separate containers and the last photo is the amount of oil/sauce leftover even after the waterfalls of oil/sauce that had already poured out all over me/my car. I order this meal often at other locations and have never ever ever experienced this amount of mess. I have ordered soup from other Panda locations (and elsewhere) and have still never had a mess like this. On top of that, the greens were grayish and old and definitely not fresh. I took a few bites and ended up throwing the entire meal away due to frustration. Do not go to this location. This kind of thing does not happen at the other PE locations I visit. There really is no excuse for this.

Shrimp Canton is a little different from the breaded type and served with veggies, it was different, but still very good. Sweet and sour sauce was more on the tart side (I'm used to Maile Chinese's canton sauce, sweeter side). Pork fried rice and crispy Gau gee were definitely my favorites. Thats my favorite so I was excited to dig in. One bite of the broccoli and I was disappointed:((( The broccoli tasted old and stale, everything else in the noodles was fine. Marinated pork-not hot again, microwave warm :(( Steam buns-nice and hot and that took a minute to come out Bitter melon-my husbabe enjoyed it Crispy fried chicken-now this what made me say something. that chicken tasted old and literally just warmed in the microwave. I called our waitress over spoke quietly and asked for a fresh batch of crispy chicken. They apologized, took the chicken and came out literally 5 mins later with the same chicken we gave back :((((((((( they literally dipped it in the oil and brought it right back out. 4 stars for Mililani Restaurant!…read more The food was cooked really well, but everything needed salt, so the flavors never got to shine the way they could have. Which is honestly a bummer because if they had seasoned Bill's Fish & Chips... dude... it would've easily been the best we've ever had! The other day, my family stopped by Mililani Restaurant after my son recommend the fish & chips. Since I'm a sucker for variety - and I hadn't eaten here in about 20 years - I also ordered the Mini Fried Saimin and Mini Korean Chicken. I love seeing each restaurant's take on these local favorites. Bill's Fish & Chips: WOW. The full order is HUGE! You get three giant pieces of cod over a mountain of shoestring fries. The fish was cooked beautifully - super crispy on the outside while staying moist and flaky inside. But oh Lord... it needed salt! The fries had a great crisp too, although they did have that darker, old-oil flavor that was a little hard to ignore. Since I'm a foodie who likes to come prepared, I happened to have lemon wedges with me lol!... and man, did that take the fish to another level. Hey, don't judge! (I'm pretty sure my family was embarrassed... but ask me if I care. Hahaha! Jk... kinda.) We all agreed that if they had simply salted the fish right out of the fryer, this would've easily been a 5 star dish. Mini Fried Saimin: Can we talk about that portion size for a mini?! Super generous! Unfortunately, this one also needed more seasoning, and the oil flavor came thru more than the other ingredients. I know it's fried, so some oil flavor is expected, but it kinda overpowered everything else. A little more shoyu would've gone a long way. Since fried saimin is usually one of my favorite things to order (local girl at heart!), I'd give this one about 3 stars. Mini Korean Chicken: The sauce was delicious and reminded me of Sugoi's Garlic Chicken. The only downside was that the chicken itself wasn't hot. It tasted like it may have been cooked earlier and then portioned out for my plate. The service was friendly, helpful with recommendations, and they packed everything securely. Our order was accurate, and the prices felt fair for the amount of food you get. They definitely have a great variety for a neighborhood plate lunch spot. Would we make the drive all the way from Ewa Beach just for this? Probably not. But if we're already in the area, we'd absolutely stop by again. One last heads up... if you're planning to dine in, be prepared to leave smelling like the fryer. The ventilation could definitely use some help.. we all went straight to the shower when we got home!
