This is the worst Panda Express ever.. not only the service but serving wise as well. I have been to plenty Pandas but this place skimps out on food quantity. Idk if the owner told them to or they just dont want to make more due to being slow and lazy but.. other places give a good scoop full of entrees but here, they start shaking off from the first scoop! I was just at this panda express in Wahiawa and it was horrible and experience. They were so rude. There was nobody in line they wouldn't help us, and then when we finally found somebody that was willing to help us even though there was tons of people there, standing around they were rude. They declined our cards and then laughed at us and said ha ha you're declined, and then they did it to my mother as well and our cards were not declined. They made us put in our cards a few times they overcharged us. They only gave us three shrimp for walnut shrimp in a plate and then we watched how they treated the other customers that came in behind us they gave them four times as much food shipping Mountains of meat that could barely fit in there box and we had the same plate with the same food in it. I was so disgusted about the way they treated us so I watched and waited. They did not do the same thing to the other Asian women that were behind us or the Hawaiian guy they gave them four times as much food. They paid less money than us, and we're supposed to be getting the same thing as us, it was disgusting how different they treated us I have noticed with other panda express in Hawaii they serve the white people last they serve the Asians and Hawaiians first even when you're first in line this is ridiculous and the way they gave them so much more food and charge them a lot less than what we were charged, and the way they treated us was disgusting. I will never be back. I will never go to another panda express again, especially not this one the food was terrible, they cooked the broccoli in a pan that had just been washed and it was covered in soapy water. It was gross. I do not recommend them at all. You'd have better luck at McDonald's. read more

My second time eating at Wahiawa Panda Express. Like other reviews, I think the one way in, drive way is bad. One would have to wait in line (i was on the street waiting) just to turn into the parking. This is all due to the drive thru window they have. Don't get me wrong, having a drive thru is an excellent idea but the planning when this restaurant was made, is all wrong. Anyway, on to the food review. I had the 2 choice, mom & great niece had the bowl. The noodles actually wasn't too bad at all. Lot of other panda places their chow mein would be dry, Wahiawa wasn't at all. The flavor was there, thats the main thing. The beef broccoli was ok. The beef did have a slight weird taste, I didn't want to eat another after the first bite. The broccoli was just right, not super hard, not soggy. The gravy part was a bit salty but not over powering. The orange chicken I always love. I thought it was quite tasty. Inside of the restaurant is normally where I like to take notice the most. I walked in, the place was actually clean. Floors were clean, counters was clean, food warmer was clear of food. And I like to see that the food warmers are cleared. If it isn't I would be kinda concerned about heath violations. One never knows if a staff member places dirty food back inside the warmer, I seen it happen with restaurants. But I felt safe enough to order. All in all, I think I would continue to come back here. This location is a mockery to the rest of the pandas I've ever been to.. the portions are skimpy, and somehow everything tastes old. The noodles and rice taste like they've been seasoned with cardboard and the customer service is non existent. Like, sheesh, we're all dealing with the same pandemic, but guess what y'all, I have to work through this thing too, and we're all tired and a little scared. Service was crappy.ordered it online and it still took forever when I went to pick it up. My shrimp was dry and burnt and I asked for half & half rice and chow mein and they gave me a whole plate of rice with a scoop of noodles on top to make it appear half and half. Every time I come here I never get what I ask for. Will not return at this location UPDATE: The management team has reached out to me and offered to replace the meal. There was great communication between the two & they answered any questions I had. Very respectful , promptly & friendly. I will give this location another chance. Super kind staff the manger was doing great and sounded kind yet effective with the staff. My husband and I showed up about 20 minutes before they closed and they were so kind and I know it must've been so annoying but we highly appreciated it because at our home we were having a power outage for 12 hours and it felt so nice to be able to eat dinner. Ordered Panda Wahiawa online with delivery through Door Dash. I called them 3 times, as the link for the driver GPS kept changing to a later time. After 2 hrs from my requested delivery time, my order was automatically canceled. I was told it was a glitch in their system. I won't be ordering from this location again. Food is always fine from here nothing different than any other panda but the service is just awful. I cant speak for every employee in there but two of the women that I've dealt with the last 3 visits are just so blatantly rude. They weren't even busy today when I went which usually causes the attitude but still they were (sorry not sorry) bitches. The one rolled her eyes when I said my boyfriend and i were paying separate and the other girl was super rude when he (boyfriend) mixed up the name of the rangoons. Caution: DO NOT eat at the Wahiawa Panda Express!!! On December 30, 2020 my husband & I drive through the take out & ordered orange chicken, chow mein & a new chicken & green bean dish. We usually do this twice a month. We took it home to Waialua. As we sat at the kitchen table sharing the meal in the styrofoam container, I suddenly bit down & to a tremendous pain knowing I had bit in a chicken bone !! It was gritty in my mouth & after finishing the swallow I had started spit in out in empty half of container! My husband dug through the chicken & found what we thought was a broken tooth! The pain was awful! We immediately called our dentist because it was sharp & hurting the inside of my cheek. We got an immediate appointment. I called Panda Express & told them what happen & we would come by with broken tooth, our receipt & estimate for a new crown! I had not broken a tooth but broke a good 7 year crown!!! Had new crown done Jan 6, 2021. Today February 25, 2021 Panda Express claims called & said they will send me $200. For a $1100 crown! Really???? I write this to perhaps save others the pain & expense this company allowed me to suffer!!! There food is done in bulk so easy to not be aware Of any small bones in their entrees!!!! Ugh read more

I was really excited when the pandas opened in our town. We were well overdue. However my recent experience was very poor. I went to panda is expecting to get the $25 family meal deal and I was told at the drive-through that it had to be ordered online ahead of time. OK fair enough I pulled in the parking lot and went to order it and I decided I would just wait the 30 minutes I was quoted. Picked out everything and as I went to pay it would not let me process the payment. After about 10 minutes I decided to walk up to the front door where they were taking walk up orders. We're not allowed in due to the current pandemic so I told the cashier that I've been trying to place the order and have been unsuccessful. Without an apology or any expression she said "oh yeah we've been having lots of issues you can just try and wait maybe half an hour and try again". I explained again to her that I have it right here on my phone as I showed her the screen and I asked her if she would be able to help me process it. She again said you can get it but you have to pay the Full price. I wanted to reiterate and I repeat it again and said "so I'm showing you that I'm trying to process it and there's an error on your end but you won't help me and let me get it for the price that it's quoted online". Yes, she said I could go back to my car and try again in 30 minutes. I was extremely upset and disappointed but my kids are at home hungry,so sadly I decided to pay the full price. After an upgrade for shrimp because they were out of the beef which she told me blatantly also, I ended up spending $50 when actually I was supposed to spend $25. I understand that there's a lot going on and things are hard right now during the pandemic but it was the cashiers attitude and not willing to help attitude that had me really disappointed. Workers are welcoming. Food is fresh and delicious. They keep it clean. Not to many places to park and crowded during lunch hours. So I would suggest going before 11am and after 1:30pm if you are in a hurry. read more

Panda Express just opened up in Wahiawa. The drive thru can be a little long but the food is still great. You can walk in also which a lot of people end up doing. You can also sit outside and enjoy your meal under a covered area. read more
