McDonald's let us down today so we went to Wendy's and thank goodness we went because there was only one car at the drive-through. And the person who was taking our order was also very nice and friendly and patient too. Later on, we were greeted by Chaz, who then gave us our order. Nicest people ever. He was kind and personable. So happy to meet and connect with people in the hospitality industry. We were excited to try our new food tray to hold our fries. Food tastes better when you have somewhere to go for some reason. It's just the reality for someone who's always on the go. They were out of Red Bull and out of the sparking energy drink I wanted so I was able to change my drink to a frosty instead which is even better! Can you guys please work on getting larger straws for the frosty especially for the ones that have Oreo crunch? I guess that's what the spoon is for but it would still help drink it better. I honestly love Wendy's but shucks I don't think I'll be going to this location anymore. Went to the drive thru, one other person in front, not bad. Ordering was smooth. When we got to the window, it was very confusing. Long story short, girl at the window was sure I had everything, as I checked I was missing 1 item. She gave us the missing item. Order complete. The special Wednesday meal came out and of course I had to try it. I wanted to get that special spoon I seen on the commercial, but of course when I ordered, they say they didn't have it. How disappointing! So as I was waiting for my meal, I noticed the lady that helped us already made the Sundae first and we were still waiting for the meal. Of course, when everything else was ready, the Sunday was completely melted and mushy. We ate the meal first, of course because that's what normal people do. Located on the main road going into Wahiawa on the right side heading to Haleiwa. Stop by for a quick lunch and was surprised that the dining area was so clean and well kept. Service was fast and the food came out hot and the vegetables were fresh and the double hamburger was a good size. Food was just okay. Sent fries back, they were cold and soggy; not fresh. They exchanged them for fresh fries. All afternoon my wife and I had stomach discomfort leading to diarrhea. The service was poor. Waited at register while someone, I think they may have been in charge, yelled for someone to come and take our order. There was no ambiance. Parts of the isle tops was missing and some screws were almost falling out. The inside of the soda dispenser was not cleaned, soda spray all over the place. I'm not sure how often, if ever they cleaned the tables. I believe a food inspector would probably give them a conditional rating. Definitely will not eat there again. read more

Was told to go to pick up spot even though I picked drive through. Sat there for 20 minutes with one frosty melting. Then got the food and no other frostys. Had to drive back through and ask for them like they didn't know what I was talking about. Got home missing cookie and and toppings from baked potato that were paid for. Never again. I love Wendy's food when done right but unfortunately I almost never get a satisfied meal from this location. I have gone to this location at least 5 times which is enough to know that they are always missing supplies or ingredients and the manager is rarely apologetic or even polite! The other workers seem much more sorry but they are frequently understaffed anyways. I went into Wendy's Restaurant #11351 at 30 S. Kamehameha Highway in Wahiawa, Hawaii, 96786 at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 20, 2021. Waited at the counter to order for at least five minutes but was ignored. I was the only one at the counter. I know they saw me, but the 4 or 5 employees on duty seemed intent only on the drive-through orders. Only 2 cars in line. So they weren't slammed. So I left and went to a McDonald's a block away. Ordered at a kiosk and got my order in less than a minute. Deals don't make up for nonexistent service. Because I live in Waikiki Beach, I really do not frequent Wendy's in Wahiawa but because I was visiting friends in Wahiawa yesterday, my partner and I decided to visit Wendy's in Wahiawa. My partner order the Taco Salad and that was amazing which I regret not ordering, instead, I opted for the Fish Sandwich. The biggest mistake of the day! HORRIBLE/GROSS!!!!!!! The outside was burnt! and it has the taste of a burnt piece of fish. Yes, I could have gone to the counter and complaint but it was late, we had been in Wahiawa most of the afternoon and early evening and I just wanted something to eat fast and so, Wendy's was the choice. I was really surprised how bad this sandwich was. I originally wanted the Grilled Chicken sandwich since I am not into fried stuff but they told me, they no longer sell it....I did remind them to removed it from the main menu if THEY NO LONGER sell it. The place was ok.......the beverage/soda machines are always a treat but I do not recommend the Fish sandwich at all!!!! I should have a Frosty but I will next time. Arrived at 9:33pm on the 12/12/2022 at the drive through, about to order and the lady on the speaker was so rude in how she asked customers. Yes you said sorry admitting you were rude. We ordered 3 combos with large drinks, then we drove to the window to pay and get our food. The tall guy named Alexander ( his name was on the receipt) talking to me to confirm our drinks, and she interrupted and said no they get small drinks! I thought she was joking but it's just how rude she is. Girl! If you hate your job, collect recycles for a living! And then we got our 3 meals without drinks and the Alexander asked if we got our drinks. Wtf you stood by the window looking and checking our order and asked if we got our drinks? so this rude lady gave us two drinks. the manager working is completely rude, attempted to to return to the location multiple times hoping the experience wouldn't repeat but both times the manager had completely showed lack of manners or consideration. Though ordering on the app constantly when pulling up the window the ice cream machine tho listed on the app was always down and the best option available was to refund us a singular dollar and no other replacement drinks. When coming back another day he rudely stated he didn't have our mobile order on the screen and told us to pull out of his drive thru without discussing steps we'd need to take or if we should walk into the restaurant to pick up our mobile order. The food quality was not very up to par as compared to other locations as well and both times I've ordered fries with no salt, they still sadly had salt on them. Wouldn't recommend anyone stop by this location as the overall experience will be negative if that worker is on the window. read more
