And the waffle fries had a sweetness to them that I was not expecting. They have waffle fries on their menu too, and it tasted like the batter got mixed up, which was weird. It was a savory, yet subtly sweet experience. And the toast was literally a slice of white bread that had some sauce dripping on it. It was not toasted, and really had nothing going for it. I guess the locations are definitely different in terms of quality, and I will just stick to the ones closer to me.

The slaw they put on the slider was cool. I normally do not like coleslaw but theirs was on the mild side and that made it palatable. They generously provided 4 decent sized pickles and an extra slice of bread for carb lovers like me. And I must say, grab the napkins. They are a fun play on words from songs but replacing words like 'fly' and 'cry' with the word 'fry.' Cool beans!

I remember first discovering them on a road trip with a high school friend of mine, and I always look forward to the rare occasion that I would have them. Later on, it became annual when I knew I'll be within 10 minutes of them from Smash Con and could enjoy them. A few weekends ago, I went with a couple of friends and we all shared a tinder combo. Now, compared to other tenders in the area, theirs are relatively tiny. But the taste is unmatched. And that coleslaw and the fries that come with it... Whew! They're so flavorful! Now, the toast is fine, not as great as other places, but they make up for that with everything else. Many people have also complained about the service, but it was very fast for us. I'm looking forward to a Zaxby's opening closer to home, because that is one place I will have more often as my guilty pleasure meal. And they have a banana pudding milkshake that I'm excited about!

The cashier was extremely apologetic and even offered to transfer our meals into dine-in bowls, but we decided not to bother. The cashier did give us a complimentary fountain drink as an apology which I thought was very kind. As for the food it was absolutely delicious. I created my own stir-fry with citrus garlic chicken, a variety of fresh vegetables, and spicy garlic sauce on the side. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and all of the flavors worked together perfectly. My husband ordered a similar stir-fry but chose tofu and the soy garlic sauce, and he enjoyed his meal just as much.
