I had a mixed experience at this Panda Express. The woman serving the food was friendly, polite, and provided great customer service. Unfortunately, I was disappointed that my in-app coupon was refused, even though I expected to be able to use it. The staff member at the counter was pleasant, but the coupon issue took away from an otherwise good visit. I hope Panda Express can make its coupon policy clearer and more consistent. read more

Was very disappointed. My husband stopped by because he was in the area and knows how much I like their chicken/mushroom. He had to wait as they were just cooking up a batch ( probably for the lunch rush) So he ordered a large and the box was 3/4 of the way full! Paid enough for it! Went today 08/31/25 at ~4:15 and had a great experience. Very friendly staff, clean kitchen and restaurant. The woman who served our food was very friendly and tidy. Would love to see some more vegetarian/vegan options like the eggplant tofu, or hopefully bringing back the Beyond Orange Chicken. We do a lot of traveling and have visited our fair share of Panda Express locations, as they usually have some good veg options. The veggie spring rolls today were the best, most flavorful, and freshest I have had from any location. I love Panda Express. This last time, we ordered the Beyond Orange chicken bowl and their Teriyaki chicken bowl. Both were nicely done, the Beyond chicken had a bit of a sweet and sour taste to it, which was a bit unexpected. I always love their Teriyaki Chicken...you get so much white meat ! Their app is easy to use for ordering and in a few minutes, your fast food order is ready to be picked up. They were very nice to drop the fortune cookies in the bag without having to ask. Clean, quick, and delicious, Panda Express is always there when you don't want to cook. LOCATION: Located in a busy strip mall area, there are plenty of parking available. The space itself is big and very clean. SERVICE: Quick service! We waited about 5 minutes for teriyaki chicken as they made it fresh on the spot but they thanked us for waiting and was super friendly! FOOD: it's fast Americanized Chinese food - take it as it is. My favorites are the noodles, teriyaki chicken and honey walnut shrimp. The honey walnut shrimp is a premium item that costs an extra $1.50 but it's totally worth it. The next best thing is their teriyaki chicken and as mentioned, that item tends to take a while to cook so if you are in a rush to get out, I'd recommend getting something else. I would have to say this place seems clean but at closer look pans are reused often and not cleaned the food was ok but lacking I would not recommend this place. My sister and I were in the area and wanted something relatively quick and easy. We noticed that Panda Express had their own store rather than inside a mall food court; clearly we haven't had Panda Express in ages! The employees were great - attentive and friendly. There were only two employees on duty; however, they worked very quickly to ensure customers get their orders at a reasonable time. One employee prepared and restocked food when necessary and the other helped customers with their orders. The location is very convenient as it is in a shopping plaza (its own store). Living in the suburbs, my options for decent Chinese or Asian inspired fare are incredibly limited. And by limited I mean that there's a ton of mediocre, 'Americanized' pseudo Chinese restaurants that serve loads of oily, disgusting pieces of mystery chicken, covered in some thick, sugary sauce with some suspicious lookin' fried rice. So enters Panda Express, a modern, quick and affordable spot that is surprisingly good. Some of their dishes are dare I say, great? Yes. Not too sweet, not too oily, not that unhealthy and quick. They don't let things sit around too long and frequently refill their stations with small batches of the dishes to keep things fresh. Service is friendly and they even have TVs in there so you can watch the news or a game. I'm a sucker for their Shanghai Angus Steak, their orange chicken (fun fact: nobody serves more orange chicken in the word than they do). Their newly introduced Super Greens side is also super tasty and is a mix of kale, broccoli, and cabbage. Honestly, for the money, it's hard to beat. And at least I won't live in regret from yet another meal at a local 'Chinese' spot that just isn't worth it at the end of the day. And while I'm not typically a fan of chains, this is actually family-owned and they do a lot of philanthropy... So while not as good as superb Chinese restaurants, this is the next best thing if in the area, and you're craving some Asian-inspired food. read more

I showed up to Panda Express super excited to eat some good orange chicken. When we got there they were all out of orange chicken so we waited the five minutes for it to be made. After was made, they only made half a batch so I ran out in three customers. They had a couple DoorDash orders waiting on orange chicken and right before I ordered, I asked for a plate should you I believe his name was looked at me and said wait opened up a DoorDash order that already had it was filled with orange double orange chicken gave them a third scoop of orange chicken that uses the last of the orange chicken and then just said oh yes, sorry 10 more minutes for orange chicken so I decided to leave because I was really really angry at the disrespect that shit you I believe his name was directed towards me. Horrible customer service. I think Jay (the manager) is racist. He was really rude to me and i thought maybe he was just rushing, but when it came to all the white customers after me he was very kind and asked them if they wanted samples and also asked if they wanted to wait for a fresh batch of Chow mein, he didn't ask me if i wanted to wait for the fresh batch and i was right before them. Also, when i asked for orange chicken he gave me the plant based thing that cost extra, it was good and i honestly couldn't tell the difference but it was extra and i didn't understand why until i went back to get some food to go for my son to go. I think everyone should be treated the same way, greet all your customers the way you do when white people come in. So I've never had panda express until yesterday I've always thought I was just like cheap nock off American Chinese food. Boy was I wrong it was actually delicious and great quality. I got a family meal for 3 adults it was actually the perfect amount of food. Every we got was delicious except the chow main it was oily and had no flavor. I went here and was shocked at how little they care about their job/customers, basically just not acting like they were supposed to help anyone. I walked in and it was basically empty and the two guys behind the counter looked up at me didn't say anything and kept talking to each other. I walked up and they didn't say anything like how can I help you or anything I just said I want this this this please and thank you. Not a word. Whatever life is tough, jobs are boring I'm over it. The main issue is the fact that one was using their phone with their glove on! That is nasty considering how the ladles always fall in the food there. The other guy had a glove on one hand and one hand ungloved. I am still struggling to understand the point of this. Then he proceeded to ring me up with his glove on one hand and nothing on the other. Now the kicker, a week and a half ago my friend went to this Panda at 11:30AM and ate orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and fried rice. It was the only thing he ate all day. Within two hours he was horrifically sick, vomiting, the works. He has lost *19* pounds in the last week and a half and hasn't been able to go to work or school or anything. He has been to the hospital 3 times and all tests came back negative for anything genetic or salmonella related, so the doctors told him he probably got a virus from what he ate. He just started being able to eat more than white bread and small pieces of grilled chicken. Needless to say I'll make the trip to Norwood for my Panda next time. read more
