So I was graving Chinese food but I wasn't in the mood to wait so the girlfriend and I headed to panda Express I got mushroom chicken and fried rice my GF got orange chicken and teriyaki chicken and as sides we got pot stickers and cream cheese Rangoon . Now the mushroom chicken was amazing with mushrooms and zucchini and chicken perfectly cooked together , the orange chicken and teriyaki were on point since my GF ate it all, but sadly the fried rice was blah it tasted like they mixed new with the old , you would keep biting down on really hard Bunches of the rice and veggies which was very irritating. The cream cheese Rangoon and the pot stickers we're the only reason this place got four stars from me. I still recommend coming here but I would get something else besides the fried rice read more

Seems like more often than not lately if you come after 8 pm they don't have anything available or their menu is very limited.

Nut and seafood allergy alert The shrimp and walnuts dish are right next to the fried rice. When they dish out the shrimp and walnuts on a plate they are holding plate over fried rice. On more than one occasion I have seen shrimp and or nuts fall into fried rice. They then use spoon used for shrimp dish to remove it from rice. My friend has a serious allergy to nuts and shell fish. In my picture of rice, look at edge of serving bowl at about 2 o'clock position. You will see a walnut. This can kill someone with a serious nut allergy. I spoke to manager and they denied it ever happens so on my recent visit I had phone camera out just in case and there it was sitting there. Beware they don't take cross contamination seriously and people can get hurt or die. read more

Previous visits, dinning room was frequently filthy. Service... meh. They need to learn how to answer the phone. Called for about 7 minutes straight. Your call is answered after 60 seconds with a message "We're busy and can't take your call, please call back" and then promptly hung up on. Repeated this process when I arrived at the restaurant out of curiosity. Restaurant was empty and nobody in the drive thru. Only got the "we're busy..." message 5 times before they answered. Take a trip across the street to Pei Wei where the dishes are much better, dinning room is open, and you can actually ask somebody a question. read more

Man named TK messed up my order and then ignored me as I tried to knock on the door bc the lobby is closed. And after 5 minutes he finally opens the door and says okay I'll be right back with that. Food is good Americanized Chinese food. Staff encourages you to sample as many dishes as you would like before ordering. I encourage sampling of spicy dishes before ordering because sometimes they are much spicer than others. Sometimes, the chef(s) are a little too liberal for medical conditions such as acid reflux. The three choice meal easily feeds two good sized, hungry adults. Upsize a small fountain drink or ice tea to a medium for $0.20 and a medium to large for $0.20 more. But watch out: the unsweetened ice tea container doesn't sit high enough off the counter to fully fill the large cup without tipping the cup slightly sideways and spilling. Also, remember to request soy sauce especially for to-go orders because they don't always include it automatically (due to cost-saving or forgetfulness) and they sometimes forget to ask too. read more

This pandas is the worst. Young untrained servers and a manager that is trying to hold food cost down. Small portions and more expensive product not ready so you are forced to wait or taker higher margin profit Update.. haven't been going as stated above, but my spouse wanted Chinese tonight. Went inside to choose entrees and confirm which are fresh. Couldn't believe that they have again changed to go plates to even smaller styrofoam containers. I think the have study monkeys and found out that after six months you can reduce food size and they won't notice. Entrees have to be getting close to a couple of ounces each. I crave the Chino-American food at Panda occasionally. They have a good selection of different proteins, fresh (?) vegetables and different flavors (sauces/spices). A dozen times I've been to this Panda Express location, its been good experience. But on May 25,2017, I went into this Panda Express location to buy two take out meals. No surprise the restaurant and drive thru were busy as its a popular place for tasty Asian style meals. I didn't mind waiting 10 mins for new cooked entrees I wanted to buy as the meals would be freshly cooked. My two double-meal containers were ready to go, I happily paid and left the restaurant. When I brought the meals to family house, opened the containers, I was disappointed. The meals weren't worth the expense of money and time. Sorry to say that at this Panda Express location the meals I asked for didn't look like ads of the dishes in restaurant, also the meals I bought didn't look like what I've purchased in the past from this restaurant. First, the Broccoli & Beef formerly was strips of cooked beef with broccoli, in yummy sauce. May 25th meal, the broccoli was there, so was sauce, but no strips of beef like usual. Instead there were "globs" of beef, bitty pieces with fat. Ugh! Second, was the Mushroom Chicken, formerly slices of chicken breast, slices of mushroom and zuchinni in yummy sauce. May 25th meal, the sliced mushrooms OK, 3 pieces of zuchinni, and about 4 small pieces of chicken, rest of chicken was "globs" of chicken fat, most of that was bits of fat that are usually trimmed off chicken and not served as part of the meal. Gross! I am able to spend same amount of money to get better prepared and presented Asian style meals, more food for my dollars at my local fave Clermont, FL Chinese restaurant than at Panda Express. From now on, I will view the assortment of food prepared at Panda Express before I buy. I'll leave, walk out if Panda Express is trying to disguise "left overs," globs of fat, no strips of beef, few pieces of zuchinni, for the real advertised meals they supposedly are preparing, selling. I won't waste my hard earned money on "garbage" being disguised as "meals." read more

The food is good but the staff is rude to the customers. I can't wear a mask so I stood off 12 feet while my wife ordered. They kicked me out of the restaurant. We frequented this Panda Express multiple times a week because of the convenience it is to our home. However, at this point, we have started to just go to Chick Fil A across the street instead. The biggest deterrent is the customer service. There's a worker, Nyasia, whom is always working when we come in. Without fail, every time she is incredibly unprofessional. The first time, we tried to cut her some slack, assuming she was having a bad day. However, it was not just a one time thing! Truly EVERY time we come in, she acts like it's an inconvenience to get our food. Eye rolls, lip smacks, and apparent annoyance while she is helping us. She is also often yelling and rude to other employees while customers are standing in earshot. Coming from a family of restaurant owners this is UNACCEPTABLE, especially when you have Chick Fil A across the street, which is notorious for its outstanding customer service. We have overheard other customers complaining about her professionalism, too. Management definitely needs to have a conversation about acceptable work behavior and proper customer service. On top of that, the food is very inconsistent. The food tastes like it has been sitting there for a while or you have to wait for 10-15 minutes until they cook some because there is none left. I hate to leave a bad review; however, I think the owners/management need to be aware of the problems occurring within their stores. Professional staff, excellent food, and quick. It seems as though Panda Express has changed the way they do things in this store. The drive through average time is about 5 minutes to wait (if foods not prepared a maximum of 10 minutes) and when I order in the dining room, it is clean, someone greeted me, and I was offered samples. All of the food looked fresh and delicious. After getting my plate, I was offered sauces, a drink, and side dishes. The service here has greatly improved as I can remember it being horrible last year. read more

Right now it's 5:57 there's a line completely wrapped around the very small building on a Sunday. It's not that the food here is bad in fact it's actually pretty good most of the time. it's the fact that the service is notoriously slow. They are often out of condiments like potsticker sauce. I was not a fan of Panda Express until my gf convinced me to try this location; I am very glad she did. Prior to this Winter Garden location, my only experience with Panda Express had been in the Miami area and they were not positive. This is definitely not a Michelin-starred restaurant but you don't come to Panda Express for a cauliflower foam or deconstructed egg roll. They offer the traditional dishes you'd expect, but they always seem to be hot and fresh. My favorites would have to be the Beijing Beef along with the Orange Chicken. If you're hungry, tired and not in the mood to cook lunch/dinner then this may be the spot for you. read more
