"Would You Like to Donate? How About a Bag First?" This is the fifth time I've gone through the Panda Express drive-thru, paid for my food, offered to pay for a bag, and still drove off holding three blazing-hot containers in my lap like a human stovetop. Every time I ask, they either say "sure" and forget it, or give me attitude like I'm asking for a favor instead of literally trying to buy a bag. I'm not begging here--I want to pay. They just won't give it to me. But they never forget to ask, "Would you like to donate today?" Yeah. I'd like to donate a bag... back to your training manual. Every so often someone in the family gets a hankering for some sugar chicken... And we know exactly where to go to grab it! Panda E is one of those spots that infinitely exists on the restaurant playlist, but overtime seems to be less and less frequent. while we're mostly looking for more authentic versions of food, sometimes you just need some orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp! We count ourselves fortunate that our kids know that this isn't authentic Chinese food, but also appreciate that Americanized Chinese food definitely satisfies a craving every once in a while. We generally will get a family box which serves five of us for about 2 1/2 meals, and as long as we get something like mushroom chicken with broccoli, it seems OK. Our youngest, who loves him some rice and noodles, especially appreciates the traditional Chinese new year type designs on the large family box. It's effectively a giant Chinese seemed happy meal box! It's also hard to not appreciate going through a drive-through and having decent stuff ready to go in under five minutes. Ordered online so of course had pick up time. Showed up a few minutes late to be sure the food would be ready. I still waited another 20 minutes after asking twice. The acting manager was very rude and seemed to be put out by my asking. I myself and 5 other online orders waited while more then 20 walk in customers came In and out. Honestly I love panda. But today man they let me down. I had ordered double fire cracker shrimp. I understand they were busy. They told me to park in front of the store and they'll bring me my order shortly once the fire cracker shrimp was ready. They cleared the drive thru. People parked and went inside and got there order before me. I had to go inside to REMIND THEM OF MY ORDER. once I told them and they took my receipt they FINALLY started preparing my order. 20 minutes waiting! Maybe even 30! Worst, rude customer service ever! The manager is totally incompetent and clearly just recites lines she has memorized rather than actually listening to the context of what the customer is saying/asking. They have disgusting dishes chicken sitting out under heat lamps all soggy and congealed together, and when my husband said he was willing to wait but wanted a fresh serving, the manager refused to allow him to have a fresh dish. We're paying for the food, are we not allowed to ask for non-soggy, non-disgusting food when we're the ones paying for and eating it? I have news for the brilliant manager here: that gross food is still sitting there AND we didn't buy anything. GROSS food, incompetent/rude people, we will never be back! The food is good. But the service is shitty I went there and they rather be friendly and nice to their own race an not just everyone that's bad customers service. When they're in a rush they just skimp you out on food because of not wanting to wait for more. Also my husband tried to get a job there got multiple interviews because of his last name and didn't get hired because he wasn't actually their race. It's pretty sad and rude to pick and choose who your nice to and who you rush. And who works with that company sooner or later there gonna get it to where no one will come back trust me word if mouth and now internet will make it so. Hope they can fix there problems. read more

9 people working behind the counter but no one to clean tables. All tables were dirty. Food on the floor sticks to your shoes. I found a cleaning cloth and cleaned our table before we sat down. Couldn't find a broom to sweep the floor so we just stepped on the rice and other bits of food under the table. read more

I love Panda Express, everytime I go there there food is fresh and ready to go most of the time. It also is one of the fast food restaurants that let you order on line and then go and pick up on time,you don't have to wait terribly long and all the people are very kind, I would highly recommend going to Panda Express if you are a person who likes Chinese food. read more

If you want good Panda go to Union gap this location has been a disappointment so many times I tried to give them a chance since I live so close but everytime I regret coming here. They overcook the orange chicken to where you cannot ever bite into it and the rest is dry and old and just gross. it's definitely worth the drive to Union gap read more

Ok for fastish Chinese. We're not sure one of the orders was right, but we think they were. The 'chow mein' seemed like lo mein to me, but with less stuff in it. Orange chicken was good. Teriyaki chicken was alright. Didn't love the broccoli beef. It didn't have enough beef, and the flavor was a little lacking. The cream cheese rangoons were good. The egg rolls seemed a little over-warmed and like maybe there wasn't a good balance of ginger in it. But I would eat here again. read more

This location would be better if they had proper management. As a general manager myself, I could never speak to a customer the way Erika speaks to customers. Her attitude is stinky to say the least the faces she makes you want to let her know that she's no better than anyone else, I've witnessed her making plates and the portion she was giving was not what panda express serves I witnessed her even removing some meat out of the smallest serving. She already had served in that plate. I will not be returning because as a customer, I realize that if I have to deal with Erika one more time, Erica would have to deal with me outside she's rude and I would be damn if I allowed her to talk to my family or my elderly mother, the way she does on handling customers and their questions to welcoming them in. I live in Kent and visit family in Yakima regularly. We started getting take out dinner from this Panda Express a couple months ago. Frankly, I was surprised at how much we like this place ! Dad always gets the brown rice bowl with Wok Fired Shrimp and egg rolls and I always get the super greens. I've tried several entrees. The food is fresh - sometimes I've had to wait for it to come out from the kitchen. I like the wok fired shrimp, teriyaki chicken, and mushroom chicken. I did not care for the pepper beef. Staff has always been pleasant and efficient, I plan to continue eating here. read more

Fifth time. Before I was told inavilability of items was due to rush. Was there at 4:30. No fried rice, no chow mein, no orange chicken, no string bean chicken. Was told 20 minutes to availability. Women in front were verbally sparring with cooks. "Puta". "Cabrone" were the predominantly words being shared. I had the same problem as Heather M. I went to get some take out and went through the drive through on Nob hill. There was a big sign about wearing masks, I placed my order and went through only to be told I would not be served because I was not wearing a mask. I told her I was medically exempt and she told me they do not except that. Well according to Inslee we were exempt. I guess she did not get that message. We argued, I handed her my money and got my food and I was told not to come back unless I had a mask. Rude, and it was stupid. She had on a mask, plus was wearing gloves and on top of that, she had this plastic hanging down from her open window. There was no need for me to wear a mask even if I could. Not just that, but she wore the same gloves for the car in front of me. That is CROSS CONTAMINATION. I worked as a nurse and I worked in quarantine and I know how to dress up before going into a room and I know how to take the stuff off when I leave that room. We also had a hazard waste red bag to put my booties, hair cover and gloves and gown into. So this so called "deadly disease" yet there is no special place to throw your masks or gloves. I go into supermarkets and have not been treated in such a manner. I also went to the bank before going to Panda Express and that is a drive through and I did not have to wear a mask. Went and got gas at Fred Meyers, went up to the window and a draw opened up, put my money in and filled up my car. i did not need a mask for that either. Got my car washed and the guy came right up to my window to get my money, I did not have to wear a mask. So bottom line is all that this gal wore and the way her window was, there is NO REASON TO WEAR A MASK. The food was good but they would not honor the free 3rd entree offer that was listed on the "gold card" that was sold to us by a local high school football team! I even spoke to the manager who confirmed they would not honor any gold cards, even though they are a listed business on the card. They need a posted notice and/or explanation on their door if they won't honor the card. They get the benefit of advertisement from the card, but won't honor the deal. So frustrating! read more

The chow mein was flavorless the kung pow was old the beef and broccoli was just broccoli. And to make things worse when I called about the beef and broccoli and the terrible drive thru employee. Ordered a catering package (2 large) for 53 people and they did an awesome job! I needed it right at 4:15 and when I arrived everything was ready. It was hot and nicely packaged. They provided all the serving spoons and tongs, had all the sauces, plates, napkins, utensils and fortune cookies. They helped load it all in the car and were even willing to deliver it if I had chosen to. Overall - I was very impressed with the service, attention to detail, and the food was awesome with plenty of leftovers. Made a big dinner very easy. Good job! read more
