They greet you enthusiastically as you enter. Food comes out hot and ready. Clean restaurant and hard working staff. Bathrooms were decent and well stocked. I'd recommend the family meal for the best price. Also, they have outlets available too.

The wait time in the drive thru was a very long time, but very much worth it!! It seems to me that i received a free "Bigger Plate" in my order. Thank you!

    Not much food

I ordered 2 sides and with rice and chow mein. They didn't even fill the plate at all with anything. When I asked about it. They said it is the new containers. But you can clearly see there's not enough food in this container. The chicken had no flavor. She was very rude as well. These kids now a days

At first we thought it was a mirage, but it truly was an oasis in the desert: a brand new panda express.

Don't go to the drive thru unless you want the wrong entree, the wrong drink, and teriyaki chicken without teriyaki sauce

2die4 food. This town so needed this place. Talk about yummy. Sometimes you just need an egg roll. Swing in and awe. Satisfied.

The portion was served for me was like for a cat! If you sell one item combo, you still have to put some food in it!

This isn't one of those fancy fusion places trying to reinvent American-Chinese food -- it's pure, classic comfort, done right. Got the orange shrimp (the star of the menu, obviously) and it was perfect: plump, juicy shrimp tossed in that iconic sweet-tangy sauce, with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. The broccoli on the side was fresh and not overcooked, which is a win for any Chinese takeout spot. Service was warm and fast, even on a busy Saturday night. The place has that cozy, no-frills vibe that only comes from being a family-run staple for decades. If you're in Lucerne Valley and craving the kind of Chinese food that tastes like home, skip the new spots and come here. 10/10, will keep coming back for another 43 years

I believe the old owner still may be the chef, but I'm not quite sure. I know this place gets mixed reviews, but we've always liked it as an American takeout Chinese food option. It's just very nostalgic of my husband a nice childhood with the flavors they offer. The war wonton soup was delicious and filled with goodies like meat and shrimp. And I get Moo Shu almost every time because it's just yummy. Honestly, we all finish our plates when we come here. I think the spice is a great meeting place for lunch or dinner when you're in the high desert my whole family will highly recommend this on any given day as a meeting place.

The flavor was good and I enjoyed them, but unfortunately they were missing one of my favorite parts of xiao long bao. The soup. There was very little to no broth inside. The braised beef noodle soup was easily my favorite dish. The broth was flavorful, the beef was tender, and it came out at the perfect temperature. My only complaint was the noodles themselves. They were pretty tangled and clumped together, almost like they had been sitting refrigerated before being added to the broth. Once separated, though, I really enjoyed the dish. We also ordered the sliced beef with hot peppers. The beef had good flavor, but I thought the sauce was a little too dry for my preference. And when they say hot peppers, they mean it, there were A LOT of jalapeños. There was also a small wait between receiving the noodle soup and the rest of our entrées, so the timing could have been a little better. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, plenty of space, and is conveniently located near Downtown Redlands. Overall, I'm glad to see a place serving good Shanghai style Chinese food in an area where there aren't a ton of options like this. Definitely a place I'd come back to and try more of the menu. 7/10
