Went to Big Bear on Labor day weekend and it was busy at the Village so we walked half a mile to this restaurant. It was surprisingly good (just don't order the lychee martini not good). Had the scrambled egg shrimp, kung pao chicken, salt pepper wings (such a hit), fried rice, beef chowfun. There were only 2 people who worked the tables and the food came out quick

    My fortune! lol.

We walked in and it was a huge restaurant! Very clean and friendly staff. We ordered the won ton soup and it was hot and hearty on a cold day! We also got the fried rice with orange chicken and it was delicious and served hot! We really liked the food and the ambiance! We will definitely come back when we go to Big Bear!

Surprisingly good Chinese food in the area. Smaller portions for the entree plates. Recommend this place if craving Chinese food up in Big Bear. Plenty of seats and ample parking spaces in the back. Friendly servers.

Had to order food to go for 70 folks at a event at the Holiday Inn The Lodge at Big Bear Lake half a mile away. Dynasty came through with 11 trays of food from fried rice, chow mien, tofu dishes and other vegetarian stir fry options. All the food was eaten. While I'm not a Big Bear local, I will dare to say this is the best option for Chinese food in Big Bear??? Sorry, no food pics but just have a photo of the rear entry from the parking lot.

I came in for lunch and had a nice meal. When I first walked in the front patio seemed very scrappy and dirty, but walked into a nice large restaurant with many large comfortable booths & tables. It was two in the afternoon on Wednesday, and I was the only one there. I started with a lychee martini and I must say, it had a very strange taste. I didn't quite recognize it because it did not taste like lychee should. I switched to a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Then I started with the cucumber salad, which was nice. Prepared with a nice garlic sauce with big chunks. Then I ordered the chicken curry and although it was pretty darn good, it did not really have that much curry flavor, which was disappointing. There was a lot of tender chicken in it so overall it was a very good dish. I just wanted more curry flavor. Pretty decent prices with large portions. Service was friendly and efficient. Very large menu.

It was my third time visiting Big Bear Lake so it was finally time to try some local Chinese food. Dynasty is located on the long street that pretty much everything is on, making it pretty easy to find. This large restaurant has a ton of seating and a fairly annoying parking lot where giant pickup trucks park like morons making it hard for the regular vehicle to park, which is not Dynasty's fault, just something I wanted to point out. We came here on a Friday night and they had a decent amount of people here with a friendly staff to serve them. The menu has everything you would expect. It's got a bunch of different veggie, beef, chicken, pork, and seafood dishes for everyones hunger. Being a sucker for a rice dish, I went with the shrimp fried rice with what I think was also chicken in it. The food didn't take long to come out and I've gotta say, it was a fairly underwhelming rice dish. The shrimp and chicken itself was fine, but the rice was a tad on the dry side and for a dish I order pretty regularly, it was just fine and nothing more. Overall, you don't have a ton of options for Chinese food on the mountain and if you are craving it, Dynasty is a solid enough place to scratch that itch. Although it wasn't the best I've had around, it was decent, tasted alright, and that's still better than some I've had.

Good spot for authentic traditional Chinese Food in BB. They have a big menu, and the service is always spot on. Dined her multiple times food is consistent. The restaurant is spacious and inviting. What I love about this place is their option for traditional Chinese and Americanized Chinese food. Let's dive into the food- Beef Chow Fun: Authentic! This is a Cantonese dish and made well. Typically, Noodle were stir-fried perfectly and bean sprouts not overly cooked. Orange Chicken: Standard Fried Dumplings: Homemade dumplings. Requires 20 minutes of preparation time. This is a MUST if you dine here. Pork dumpling filling is savory and love the texture. Plus! Dumpling skin not too thick. This is my local go to Chinese restaurant. Highly recommended!

My family and I came here for dinner because we wanted some Chinese food. It was early, so it was pretty much empty even we went in. Parking lot is small so it can be a struggle for larger cars. Interior was nice. We ordered the seafood egg flower soup, string beans, and honey walnut shrimp. We weren't expecting what we got because we didn't know it was a different region of Chinese food. The soup was ok. String beans were good and has a lot of garlic. We were disappointed by the honey walnut shrimp because we thought it was the one with the mayo and not tempura style. Service was ok, but can better. It would be nice if someone would come by from time to time to see if we were done or needed anything else.

Food was good we really enjoyed the orange chicken and the ginger steamed fish. It took a while as it was nearly empty for someone to come ask us what we wanted to drink. No one checked on us until our food was almost done. Soda was missing fizz tasted like it was needing to be replaced. But good if you are craving Chinese food up in Big Bear! Lots of available seating so if they are busy the wait time is probably a lot shorter. Large menu of items to choose from.

    Elizabeth K.

Underrated. The food is just amazing. We've been here often enough to know it's worth coming back. We've only had one off day and even then it was still pretty good. Today was the best yet! Orange peel chicken, beef chow fun, and sliced lamb in Szechuan was today's order ... might be the next three times, too Staff is friendly. There's usually a bit of a wait once you order, but that's what you should expect for real food. Love this place!

The place may be unassuming, but we were met with the friendliest service (thanks Katie!) and a plethora of delicious tea choices! This place is not like your standard Americanized boba tea shop. They offer REAL teas, made from steeping and not relying on heavy artificial flavor powders. With that said, your drink, especially milk teas, will taste lighter than an Americanized boba tea. Honey is used primarily to sweeten the drinks as well. I absolutely appreciate this practice because I love tasting the actual tea flavor. I ordered the Pumpkin Harvest milk tea and it was DIVINE! My hubby ordered the Passion Fruit green tea and it was so good too! If you're wanting something sweet and more Americanized, we were told the smoothie drinks are made with flavor powders. However, you can tell that this is a community and local favorite and it's a mom and pop shop that's been in business for quite some time. When we went, there was a consistent stream of people coming in and out to get some sweet treats and it was hard to find seating outside, let alone inside. Though they have board games if you want to kill some time. The funny thing is that I haven't seen such an old school traditionally Chinese aesthetic business in quite awhile. It's a bit kitschy and vintage, reminds me of those businesses in non-Asian neighborhoods back when I was hermetically sealed in the mid west. Anyways. Service was super friendly and answered our questions and we were in and out quickly. We got the scoops of unicorn poop (ube), a coffee ice cream, and a caramel ice cream. They melted super quickly and were a bit icier than to my liking, so I'd rather just opt for 1 scoop of flavor instead of the greedy money saving tactics my bf attempted and didn't even eat that much of the ice cream. Smh. I also got a caramel rooibos milk tea half sweet and it was super watered down. I don't think I'd come again, but it was neat to try at at least once.
