Found this place on Yelp and tried it for lunch. As far as a restaurant it is as basic as can be, i suspect they do more takeout, the 4 of is ordered by the counter and sat down. For a "fast food" Chinese restaurant, Panda Garden was quite delicious! Our dishes were full of fresh vegetables and very flavorful. The portion sizes were quite generous as well! I had the Kong Pao Chicken and my husband had the Sesame Chicken. The service was friendly and our food was brought out very quickly. The ambiance was simple, clean and comfortable. We would definitely come back again to try other items on their menu! read more

Wonderful shrimp egg fu young and shrimp and snow peas (pea-pods)! The shrimp with snow peas have lots of tasty large shrimp! The sauce on the egg fu young is super flavorful. And the portions are large enough for two, though I've been known to hog it all for myself. It is always ready 10-15 minutes after ordering by phone. They do have a few tables there but I always bring it home. I've had the won ton soup in the past and it was always tasty and cooked just right. And the staff is friendly. Yes, they are Chinese and their English is limited, but it is much better than my Chinese!!! They always get my order right, so that tells you something right there. Personally, I suspect I get better Chinese food cooked by Chinese folks...this isn't "fake" Chinese like Lee Ann Chin's Americanized crap. read more

I have nothing to review. They say they open at 11am. I was there, along with a couple of others and they were not open. Two signs in the windows that one said Open and the other said Closed. Their loss for sure. read more

While not exactly authentic Chinese fare, it does fit the peramiters of the American version of such food. You have the option of calling ahead for take out, ordering it there, ordering off the menu and eating there, or selecting from the buffet and dining in. While small in space, it is relatively clean and speedy. My standard, eggs foo yung, was ok, but not really the way I like them prepared. Personal taste. But today I tried the Coconut Shrimp off the buffet, and it was tasty little breaded bay shrimp in that sweet sweet creamy sauce. Like candy. Mmmmmm There also is a slight language barrier, so make sure they know what you want! I am sure they will be happy to oblige. The prices are very reasonable, so it's guilt free in that respect. My expectations for buffets are pretty low. I coming knowing that the quality is low for the quantity I am receiving but my experience here was extremely low. I do want to say that the people are very friendly and quick to grab finished plates of tables and refill water. However, the food was not the bests. I was eating thin rice noodles that were old, dry, and crispy. Also, there was a thick, black hair coiled within the noodles :( There were these clams filled with cheese that were fishy and unappetizing. The sesame chicken was chewy and grisly. The Potstickers and cream cheese wontons weren't too bad. Overall, the food was old and lacking in freshness but then again, it's a buffet. I bet if you know when they put the fresh batches out, you would score a decent meal. read more

A delicious buffet in a small town. It's small but they have plenty of selection and everything was fresh and at perfect temp. Probably the juiciest and most well cooked chicken dishes I've ever had at a buffet. Things like sesame chicken were still battered and deep fried like is typical of American Chinese food but these were just lightly battered so they were deliciously crispy but not overwhelmingly greasy. They had some type of barbecue chicken that was really good. The walnut shrimp was plump and not overly sweet. And the black pepper chicken actually tastes like black pepper! The place was pretty busy on a Friday night and the staff kept the place sparkling. They also have a takeout menu if you don't want the buffet. I'm bummed that such a good buffet is an hour away from where I live or else I'd make this place a regular. read more

This place is now a buffet. It's a much larger space than before. They actually manage to keep the buffet food hot. It's quite delicious especially the coconut shrimp. Which by the costs $14 alone at the take out in Isanti. The one thing I absolutely need to give five stars is better fried rice. OMG it's rice and soy sauce. Service is good. Food is not always tasty, warm food is never warm enough, cold food is never really cold. Though I was charged $90 for my family of 7 on accident (they added 3 people from a previous customer to my tab) - thankfully they did alter my bill to reflect correctly - Still $60 which hurts when 4 of my kids BARELY eat, though all paid full entree price. Seriously good food! Coconut shrimp is AMAZING! Honey Mustard Chicken is super yummy and Sesame Chicken is great as well. You get a lot of food for reasonable prices. Chicken pieces are always good sized and not dried out or crispy like some places. Super fast service if you head in around dinner time you can pick from a deli type counter but you can always order from the menu and that's pretty quick too. Staff is super nice and every time I've been in there business seems pretty steady. Coming from the twin cities I'd still say this is one of the best Chinese food places I've been too. read more

What a great buffet restaurant in such a small town. Price is really good and so is their food. I love their peanut butter chicken, sesame chicken and coconut shrimp... Fresh and taste so yummy! The lady boss doesn't speak very good English, but she definitely is friendly and tries to provide the best service she can. If I live nearby I would definitely eat there every week. read more
