Poor costumer service the website associated is from the previous owners so they have no online site. Spare ribs were actually disgusting in taste. I would never suggest this place to anyone. I did not eat here. Beware! Actual price charged is more than 10% higher than price posted on menu board. I asked about the incorrect price when the cashier rang it up, and she said "Those prices are years old. The current price is in our printed menu." I've now been to a few local Chinese takeout places and overall this is my current favorite. The place ain't much to look at inside -- kinda sparse and bare, but more importantly the portions are generous and the prices are fair for what you get. I first tried the chicken egg foo young and it was very good (although I did add just a little low-sodium soy sauce to give a slight flavor boost but not a biggie). I also got the hot n sour soup that was also quite good if not the best I've had, but it's still very passable and I still order it with every meal. Next I tried another staple -- chicken and broccoli -- and I have to say it's excellent and rivals some of the best I've had from pricier/fancier Chinese restaurants. The chicken is moist and tender, the mix of chicken and broccoli is spot on, and the brown sauce is very flavorful and ties the whole dish together perfectly. Very impressed thus far I tried the general tsao's chicken yesterday and this is where things finally went south -- it was not good. The sauce was good but the chicken was so dry and tough it was virtually inedible, and despite this being a large order it had only three pieces of broccoli (I was told it should've had six pieces but even that woulda been kinda lame). I ended up bringing it back (which I've never done before) and exchanged it for the chicken and broccoli that was again excellent. So the bottom line seems to be that China Taste can vary from great to poor depending on the dish, but as my admittedly limited experience skews more to the great at this point I'm willing to stick with them and try other dishes (a beef dish will be next), and I still prefer them to the alternatives I've tried around here thus far. read more

My family has been eating here for as long as I can remember, we even have pictures of me as a toddler eating their soup. It is great Chinese food, can be salty, but that's exactly how we all like it. Definitely a must try. Update July 2019: They seemed to have switched owners and it is no longer as good. I wrote a review several months ago giving CT a 4.5-5 star score, but after a few months away, I've tried it twice in the last month and, (I'm guessing) it seems the restaurant might have changed ownership or chefs, because it's the same quality as my previous experiences. I purposely tried the same dishes as before to make a fair comparison and, while it's still a cut above local competitors, it did not deliver the same level of quality it had over the previous two years. This place is probably one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Rockland County. The employees are friendly, organized and professional. They make you feel welcome and the facility is very clean. The food is tasty and cooked well. I have ordered many meals here and refuse to go anywhere else. Everything is delicious, the food is prepared well and it's not greasy or over cooked. Just started working in the area and was looking for lunch. I tried this place for the first time today so I figured I'd try something simple. 10.00 min to use credit card so I order the fried wontons which were delicious. They had the right amount of pork inside and weren't doughy; they were nice and crispy. I also order chicken wings with French fries. Both cooked to perfection. Golden brown and also crispy. I ordered a shrimp egg roll but never got a chance to try it. Will update you all as soon as I do! Over all very pleased with my experience.
