Very mediocre Chinese food. Not to be confused with the outstanding Panda Gourmet nearby. My wife and I ordered from DoorDash and were excited since we love all things pandas. We got the Fried Chicken Dumplings and Steak Cheese Egg Roll for our appetizers which were good but our entrees the Orange Chicken had chicken with little flavor and the Pad Kee Mão (Drunken Noodles) lacked spice. The General Tso's Wings we saved for the next day were decent but lacked meat on some of the wings. Also no fortune cookies. This place makes me quite a sad panda. read more

this place is extremely mid. I will be honest they do make a nice fried chicken. My fries are ALWAY over cooked and in my opinion over priced. The service and pushy energy is horrible, they don't even get out the car to "deliver" your food! You have to meet them at the car. I called and had a few questions about pricing along with the $4 delivery fee (not including tip) the owner starts huffing and puffing and said "why didn't you have your order together before calling? My goodness" EXCUSE me? now you can actually cancel my whole order. They will not get another penny of my money. I don't beg ppl to take my money and certainly don't spend it where I'm not respected or appreciated. These ppl must have forgot who pays their bills and send their kids off to school. Went on the hotel recommendation! Visiting DC and late night hunger pains. It was pretty good with very fast delivery. The hot and sour soup was piping hot and full of flavor. Rich and thick the way I like it. Spring rolls were spring rolls, lol. The fried wontons were soggy. But the main dish, Kung Pao bean curd was very good. Packed with bean curd. More bean curd then veggies and what I liked is the veggies were sliced so thin. Really full of flavor. We also had the Pad Thai. Always my go to Chinese place, ever since they left a menu at my door almost ten years ago! Their food is consistently hot and delicious, especially their appetizers and lo mein. Online ordering makes things really easy. I see from other reviews that people have had issues with delivery drivers, but I've always thought they seemed kind and cheerful. I tend to meet drivers streetside at their car anyways, though, and that seems to be most people's complaint. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this place! read more

We ordered from this place this evening and when the delivery arrived my brother went to grab the food. My brother was near the front gate (5feet from the door) waiting for the man to hand him the order. Then the man said out his window that he "does not get out of the car in THIS neighborhood" and refused to come to the door/gate of our row home to carry out the delivery. When my brother went to his window to get the order and upon looking at the reciept, the delivery driver then rushed him by saying "just sign the receipt" and had a nasty tone. Will not be ordering here again. If you and your employees are afraid and hold this policy then stop exploiting (and "delivering" to) our black neighborhoods with that fried garbage! The food isn't the greatest but it's cheap, it's consistent, and they're stupid fast when it comes to pick up and delivery. The best things I've had from them come from The deep fryer, unfortunately I can't say the same for their stir fried dishes. I am visiting D.C. for a conference and found this option for my mom and I. We ordered on their website which was really easy and actually really fast. I wasn't sure when the food would arrive because there wasn't a clear idea of how long it would take. When the food came it was packaged great. And really easy to spilt with my mom and put on plates. Like another reviewer, I got Panda's menu in my mailbox. Being new to town, I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered online, which went very smoothly. The food came about 35 minutes later, which was very good for a Sunday evening. The food itself was ok, not the best Chinese I've ever had, but far from the worst. I ordered a small wonton soup, a large veggie lo mein, and a dinner-sized order of orange chicken, all for a grand total of $17. Completely worth it! Panda serves the biggest portions I've ever seen from a DC Chinese restaurant. When the delivery driver handed me my bag and left, I honestly called him back because I thought he'd given me someone else's order in addition to my own. The sheer weight of that bag was enough to be excited! While the wonton soup was just ok, the lo mein and chicken were delicious. Tons of veggies in the just-greasy-enough lo mein made for a great lead in to the spicy, saucy, tender chicken. And there was enough for 2 more meals for both me and my Hoover of a boyfriend! I was extremely skeptical about this place when my friend and I decided to order take out. I was not sure how I felt about ordering non-Chinese food from a Chinese place. However, I ordered the gyro and potato wedges and it was quite good. The gyro had "lamb" but I really felt like it was soy or turkey meat. The tzatziki was okay, but not as thick as I am used to. The pita was fresh which is my favorite part about a gyro. The potato wedges were fantastic! I scarfed those down. I don't think I would order the gyro from there again. The non-Chinese food is okay. The seaflood platter is not bad and there is so much to choose from and my friends says that pretty much anything is good (I will take his word for it). It took an hour for one luke warm spring roll and shrimp with broccoli. I was expecting the driver to pull the exact move of what the pervious reviewer stated...drive up and hand me the food from his car. Then had the nerve to smile and ask for a tip like it's required. I gave him a tip alright that .50 cents he kept because he did not have change. The food was plied with broccoli and little shrimp, plus the broccoli looked old. The food had an awful odor and so some odd reason a weird sweet taste (which was not pleasant). I normally make my own chinese food at home, but having a lazy Saturday I thought I could afford to waste $12.50. And a waste it was. On a whim we ordered from this menu we found in our apartment mailbox and were very impressed! I have gluten allergies so had to get a special order, which they followed perfectly--steamed tofu and veggies with white sauce on the side. Wide variety of crisp steamed veggies and TONS of tofu. I think they do a pretty good job of both Chinese and American food. If you live in North-East don't bother with delivery my experience was not so pleasant: The driver drove right up to my house and sat in the parking lot. I called him back and asked him to please come to the door, but he drove off. I called him again to tell him that I saw him drive off and he said that he was outside. I tried several times to tell him that he was in the wrong parking lot and began to flash my porch light. I asked him if he could see the flashing light and he said yes. After speaking to people at the resturant he finally came back. I went outside for a third time in the cold and rain to stand at the bottom of my stairs. He pulled up right in front of me and waived angrily at me to walk all the way out into the parking lot. I held up my soaking wet bedroom slipper to show him that I was not wearing shoes, but he waived me into the parking lot again! I understand that the driver is worried for his safety, but my neighborhood is not even a little dangerous. It is a very safe neighborhood. Furthermore, I recieved a flier from your business. Panda DC sent ME a flier to deliver to ME. If you do not want to deliver my food with respect then do not send me any advertisements. When I order Chinese, I typically go for lo mien, Panda was disappointing. The Lo mien tasted very heavily of garlic, which in my opinion is not what lo mein should taste like. Additionally, the rice tasted like it had been buttered, steamed rice should be just that; steamed. Further, it took 3-4 separate calls to place the order.
