Once you sit down you scan a QR Code to order your food and drinks. I was pretty hungry that day so we ended up ordering a ton of food. The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable. I loved that it was served with a healthy scoop of ice cream. The pancake was airy and had a bounce to it. Each bite was so good and made even better with the ice cream. I'd definitely come back just for the pancakes. All in all Tasty Junction is a great spot tucked away in Glen Rock

My aunt wanted to go here for her birthday and our wait ended up being around an hour and 20min on a Saturday around 10am. You also can't sit until the entire party is there. Our server was attentive despite the busy morning and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Parking can also be tricky but it looks like they're expanding their parking lot!

I got the 4x2 and the pancakes were indeed, as the counter people assured us, were "the best you've ever had". I believe they are correct. After selecting our breakfast options, which would be made easier with a flow chart on the menu, we enjoyed some fine coffee and an interrogation on our comings and goings. When they learned we were on our way to Fredericksburg and we engaged in Civil War topics, they must have heard the bell for the end of history class. They did keep checking on us. The eggs and sausage were fine. The bacon could have been cooked more and, thou we asked for onion and peppers, they were not added. I'm not sure how much it would have helped - they needed some zest. In the end, of the 4 breakfast places we had the pleasure of eating at over the Memorial Day weekend, this was the best.

I got the blueberry pancakes, eggs, turkey bacon and cold cream ice latte in the flavor mocha crumb. The food was phenomenal. The pancakes came with maple butter syrup and it was a hit with my daughter. The coffee is one of the best I had in a long time. It was the perfect mix of sweet and strong. The service was fast and the restaurant was clean. Definitely worth the visit.

The place is known for their pancakes and they have a huge variety! I was debating between the blueberry pancakes or the banana brulee pancakes. I went with the blueberry pancakes and it was delicious! Lots of blueberry inside the pancakes and blueberry compote on top. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful without being too sweet or overload. My boyfriend and I also shared a salmon eggs benedict on the seasonal menu. It was one of the best salmon eggs benedict I've ever had. The portion was perfect - two decent sized Benedicts with a small salad on the side. The best thing is that the Benedict is not on an English muffin, but a hash brown. The service was great as they came by several times to ask if we were ready to order before we actually ordered. They were also very attentive in refilling our water cups. The place is relatively small so I can see how it gets crowded. There is a restroom in the rear for customers. One final tip is that this place does not accept credit cards - only cash, Venmo or Zelle! Would definitely be back for the salmon eggs Benedict, to try other pancakes, and their drinks as well.

Friends of mine have named this as one of the best breakfast spots around and I couldn't agree more with them, whole heartedly in fact. Currently I've become a huge fan of their Blueberry Pancakes which are outstanding and have kind of crepe-like texture to them. They're made with fresh picked berries from Hammonton NJ baked-in and topped with real Blueberry Syrup for the win. We're talking about some seriously epic YUMMMMMMERS !! Assistant Manager Caio introduced me to a few of the most popular lunch menu items that Owner Joseph recently added to the menu. Yuzu Lemonade: This refreshing, tangy citrus beverage was blended with yuzu, which is a fruit combination of lemon, grapefruit, and mandarin orange. This is undoubtedly one of the tastiest beverages I ever tried, but I would have preferred a thicker straw so I could slurp up the tiny pieces of yuzu on the bottom. Miso Cream Udon: These thick Japanese noodles are smothered in miso cream sauce, which is blended primarily with black miso, white miso, dashi flakes and parmesan. The udon was topped with chili flakes. It was very rich and creamy with an umami flavor. Spicy Beef: The thinly sliced beef was smothered in a Korean gochujang sauce and topped with sesame seeds and chili flakes; it had a mild kick. Also included are coleslaw and a heaping pile of rice. Overall, I had another fantastic experience exploring these new additions to the lunch menu. #fluffyfluffygo #spicybeef #YuzuLemonade #misocreamudon #japanesecafevibes #newportcentre #diningconcourse #NewportMall #jerseycitynj #gochujangsauce #udonnoodles

We got the pork sando, signature pancake, basque cheesecake, and 2 drinks (Thai tea/mango soda). This was our first time trying a souffle pancake. The pork in the sando wasn't as big compared to the chicken katsu pics we see online and seemed to be a bit overcooked and on the drier side. Overall, the sando lacked flavor imo. I enjoyed the fries which were crispy. Pancake was good and had the jiggle. The drinks were too sweet for me and the Thai ice tea looked like there were tea grinds that leaked out but you can taste the tea. However, the basque cheesecake was soo good! Highly recommend! Shared it with my family and they also gave good remarks. It's pretty for Instagram but the prices are steep. Not sure many people will go to the mall for expensive pancakes given the other options available. I personally wouldn't come unless there was a good deal. The ambiance is the mall food court which I don't think is a good location for the brand. Service was fine but seemed like one of the workers was in training. Haven't been but their NY location is probably better.
