In the past I ordered Pho at this restaurant and the broth was not clean and flavorful like a good Pho restaurant would have served it. I thought I'd give it another try with the Chinese food: Instant regret. House fried rice seemed very sloppy, and the shrimp tastes like mold. I ordered wonton soup, there was no wontons, just wrappers and the shrimp also taste of mold along with the baby corn. And you can guess the honey walnut shrimp tastes of mold as well and the sauce is very gritty. Disappointing. read more

I always want to support small local businesses, but I cannot recommend this place. For $14.50 I ordered the chicken curry plate with rice. What I received was a plate with liquids (did not taste like curry) with large chunks of bell peppers, onion; a few carrot shavings, and tiny pieces of chicken. I tried to pour some of the liquid out and added some rice- but this was inedible. The liquid sauce was painfully sweet with no spice and just filled the entire container. It is a disappointment because they were kind and helpful on phone and it's at a convenient location. read more

Ordered Mongolian beef and got all veggies meat had no flavor. Place is sketchy. I ordered a coke and he pours half of it and kept the other half full of ice and kept the can, I had to ask for it. Don't come it's horrible here. I would give negative stars. read more

At first glance, this place doesn't look like much, but the food is GREAT. The Orange Chicken, and Sweet n Sour Pork is the best. The prices are incredibly inexpensive compared to similar restaurants and they have a dinner special that will fill you up for less than $20. They offer an amazing selection of Pho, Vietnamese food, Chinese food, and seafood. You'd be hard pressed to find a better value. They also have ice cold beer. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner if you're looking for a delicious meal at fast food prices. read more

All these years in Lemon Grove and I have never tried this restaurant. The food here is fresh and tasty. The chicken chop suey had perfectly cooked veggies that weren't soggy or overly drenched in sauce, and the House Fried Rice did not skimp on the meat. It also looks like they have an extensive lunch menu at a decent price of $7.95 a plate. The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and showed each dish to me to make sure everything was correct before bagging it up. I found out they do deliver but only for $20 minimum and within a mile or so of their location. Finding good Chinese close to home will now save me a trip to Chef China in Casa de Oro, so this was a win for me. read more

Yelp led me here and I am so glad that yall dont ever let me down! Upon arrival it looks a little old school from the outside and even inside but let me tell you.... This place is bomb! Parking is small and tight but the few times we went was later at night so we didnt have a problem with finding parking. Inside the restauraunt there was 2 other people waiting. We ordered to go and it took maybe 15-20 mins for it to be done because we ordered a lot. We had the walnut shrimp, kung pao , chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, noodles....just a little bit of everything and it was flavorful with great portions. I wish I got some pics for you to see but next time, I promise! They also have a selection of boba I have yet to try! Will definitely be coming back!! read more

We came here for lunch on Labor Day which we got to choose from a lunch special menu. I used to come here a lot when I worked in Lemon Grove back in the day. The restaurant is small and they replaced those old booths with tables. As we sat down, we got iced waters. I chose the mushroom chicken which was pretty good. Everything was hot and fresh. I got a side of rice, egg roll and the mushroom chicken. It was good. The guy serving us was nice. The only complaint I had was how hot it was inside. Fans were on but that just blew around hot air. I was literally sweating. Parking is limited up front but we parked a little ways away. It literally is located on the corner. I would come back but maybe when the weather gets cooler. It's very uncomfortable to eat fresh hot food when it's hot outside. read more

Agree with the smell when you very first walk in, it was a bit off putting but you do acclimate quickly. Another weird thing was, it was completely empty. BUT we went ahead and ordered to-go and the food was ready within 10 minutes which is awesome. Husband absolutely loved the sweet and sour shrimp. Chicken Chow Mein tasted pretty good and it was filling. Would come again when we crave chinese and nearby. I'd say to my friends to give it a chance. It was actually pretty good overall. I moved here from the Bay Area years ago and I found this little gem close to home. It's a smaller place but you can tell they've been doing business for years! And the food is on point! I love the Orange Chicken lunch special, you get an eggroll and rice, best part besides the taste is the price! They even serve Sushi and Pho and other dishes. Its the only place I know serve Duck! Which is rare these days but so delicious! Sometimes it's slow but other times its packed, I will keep going hopefully for many more years to come read more

Ordered from here by accident while searching for a pho place on my way home from work. Was a little concerned when I pulled up because it looked like a little whole in the wall restaurant. If you are looking for nice portion sizes I do not recommend this place. However my shrimp chow mein was good, the kung po chicken my daughter ordered was good as well, it just had huge chunks of uncooked onion and slightly cooked bell pepper. And when she asked if she could get less vegetable.. he said that's how it comes and everyone makes their kung po like this. I have been too many Chinese restaurants and the way he some to us was unacceptable. I recommend expressing how you would like your meal and taking it too go. This is not the place you want to eat from. Ordered the beef with broccoli, general tso's chicken, chicken fried rice and egg rolls. First thing chicken fried rice was burnt. I mean you could see black pieces all in the rice and it tasted just as burnt. There also was just big chunks of chicken instead if bite size pieces throughout it. It was completely gross! Next our main dishes weren't as bad but chicken in General Tso's was deff over cooked but the flavor was ok. Beef and broccoli was ok but nothing amazing by far. The only good thing we received were the egg rolls. They tasted good and seemed to be the only thing they got right. I will say we ordered delivery which didn't take long but still overall I will never be eating from here again. read more

This place has given up and has no heart or soul left, it is as if they just don't care anymore. First time in this place and I order a 1/4 duck with vegetables and rice for 6.45. Great price. That is about all. The duck was reheated and not good at all. Tough, tasteless, and small pieces along with the leg. The vegetables were under cooked! Amazing but true. Some were cooked ok but most were under done. The rice was just ok. This place really pissed me off. The beat goes on with my record for the last few months.
