I went in on a very restrictive diet due to autoimmune problems. Masie (sp?) was working the counter and was deadly serious about meeting my dietary needs, to the point that she made several trip to our seats upstairs to check on us. When I left, all four fabulous women that were staffing the restaurant were at the counter, and I stopped to chat with them. They work hard, can be flexible and adaptive with complicated dietary needs, and are totally lovely, to boot! I love this place! My first intro to Pad See Ew was when I used to live in St Louis & it was served with vermicelli noodles instead of the flat noodles. I much prefer the vermicelli and a lot of places won't substitute them, but Pandan does no problem & their Pad See Ew is sooo good! My daughter likes the pork belly on the kids menu. Every time we call lately they say it's 30-45 minutes minimum before the food will be ready. We get there and it's not ready. And now they don't even answer the phone to take orders if they are busy. Loved the food! I had pineapple fried rice and it was delicious!! We had the fried tofu fries with the sauce and let me just day that the sauce was amazing!!!! They ran out of coffee which is my reason for not giving 5 stars . First time to try this new location although we've been a couple times at the Crowley location. I had the yellow curry and my husband had the pad tai. Both of these were really good, but the loaded basil fries we shared were amazing. There was a snafu regarding the orange raspberry tea I ordered, but the staff corrected it and gave me a second one on the house. Great customer service. We will definitely return! read more

The help were busy looking at their phones, so we ordered some pad Thai and one other dish along with spring rolls. I love Thai food, but this was food that was like somebody made it at home. The restaurant is spacious & family friendly with a fantastic menu. You order on one side of the counter & pick up on the other. The food is excellent just like their other location in Crowley. I was disappointed. So many good reviews and that was not my experience. My order was "we don't have that ingredient" we can substitute. Place the order, why is it more? The menu board doesn't show an increase, only the register. Moments later, "we are out of..." Another substitution. The dish was rubbery noodles and meat drowned in some bad curry sauce, which must have been in a can at some point. Vegetables? Raw onions piled on top? Really? I couldn't even finish it. The only saviour was a good cup of jasmine green tea. It's still unclear to me what these rave reviews came from. I love good Thai food and this wasn't it. read more

If you want authentic delicious Thai food, this is not the place. Ordered basic Pad Thai cause you can never go wrong with such a classic dish. I was very wrong. We ordered spicy level 3 and it had no flavor. Tasted like noodles in some oil with some flakes and peanuts crushed up. They also skipped out on meat, very few pieces of chicken. Mostly just noodles. The fresh spring rolls were decent, sauce not so much. It was thick and clumpy. Dumpling were okay. Personally I think if you don't really know what Thai food is supposed to taste like, this is a great place. Probably hits the spot. The Thai tea also was not very good, tasted like straight sugar. I gave a couple stars for the nice girl at the desk. I really like the use of space, especially the upstairs. This doesn't really give off a vibe of a Thai place, more like a cute ice cream shop. It could be better without the fake flowers and the window sills wiped down. The plants on the tables were nice, but the water needs to be changed more often. I'm also not a fan of eating out of plastic ware because I feel like it takes away from the taste and experience. The cups, cutlery, bowls are all plastic. Overall very disappointed. The owner's wife recognized our daughter-in-law, from when she had a yard sale, and the owner's son had bought himself a battery operated car, with his own money. But, it wouldn't charge! Our daughter-in-law was going to refund his money; she made the arrangements. We sat on the upstairs tables. We ordered pad thai for both of us; they ordered similar dishes. I convinced the kids to try this place and they liked it. Both got chicken and rice kids bowl and only one of them liked it. They offered my daughter an exchange for the egg noodles and chicken and she liked it a lot. I ended up getting the red curry with tofu and it was delicious. Everything was fresh and cooked very well. They have lots of vegetarian or vegan options because they have tofu but they also have chicken and pork. I love this place!! The girls that work here are always friendly. Love how it is walking distance to the local beverages. I love to get the Tom Kha soup it has an amazing flavor and is just the right amount of spice for me. The Pas Kee-Mow is out of this world good with bold and spicy flavors.
