Really good food and service and ambiance! !

Place has been good to our tummy. But today it was a shocker service?? Not our server , but we got here 7 and it's been almost an hour and we just got our appetizers. These people that came in after us, were seated and had their food ready and fast!!! How is this possible?!!! I'm mad and disappointed for not getting our food ready first ! Maybe I'll look for another place ? Regardless, we've been here for 49 minutes and no ramen, sucks ! I don't leave cause I'm hungry and I want some ramen . read more

It was a ramen kind of day. We tried this place out for the first time and we were greeted as we walked in. The staff was friendly and the place was nice and clean. We got the gyoza panfried dumplings which was yummy and the sauce was perfect. I got the tonkotsu ramen and the soup was flavorful. The noodles were delicious and the pork was nice and tender. My boyfriend got the udon steak dish which yummy too and we enjoyed the fat noodles. The meat was tender too. Overall they had really yummy food. read more

First time here but not my last. This is a newer business, it has been around for about a year. I really wanted to try the ramen, so I was so excited that they had a vegetarian option. I am not vegetarian, I'm pescatarian, but I also have a shellfish allergy, so I was limited, but thankfully you can addon items, so I added scallops and an egg. The ramen bowl is a really nice size for the price. And while we waited for our feed, we got a drink at their fully stocked bar. I got an old-fashioned. It was pretty good, but it was not their specialty drink. I also got some "crab" rangoons. They were big and tasty. The staff was awesome. They answered all of our questions and made sure that we were good while we waited for our food to be made. It is a cute establishment, and I can tell that they have some regulars because they knew they're customers at the bar and it has a cool hometown feel. I can't wait to go back. read more

Was excited to try this out but the food was extremely oily it tasted like water they just don't cook their food well but the servers are very kind and nice but they need a new chef ASAP!! First time trying a ramen spot with two friends and, unfortunately, the experience was memorable for all the wrong reasons. I ordered the Teriyaki Steak Ramen and asked for a few simple modifications: no mushrooms, hard-boiled egg instead of soft, and extra corn. What I got was... not that. The bowl came with mushrooms, and both mine and my friend's eggs were still runny, the exact opposite of what we requested. Let me preface by saying I've only ever had instant ramen before, the kind you get in a 60-cent packet. But I'd genuinely choose expired instant noodles over this meal. The smell alone was enough to make us hesitate; a strong, unpleasant mix of feet and what I can only describe as old dishwater. None of us made it past a few bites. My friend ordered a sweet tea that looked and tasted like plain sugar water, with no color or flavor. We tried to salvage the meal by asking for salt and pepper, but the saltshaker practically exploded on contact, sending pieces of glass across the table. Thankfully no one was hurt, but it summed up the entire visit. Now, not all the food was bad. We did order an appetizer of the fried pot stickers, which came with a half soy, half teriyaki sauce, and those were great! Even my picky friend loved them which I was shocked at. Genuinely crispy, flavorful, and probably the only thing we finished. We do plan on possibly coming back to try their fried rice or hibachi options, but that'll be on a day we've all already eaten... just in case. The one bright spot was our server, Zaylin. She was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu well. She really was the best part of the experience. Overall, the food was a letdown, and the environment didn't do it any favors. I noticed burleson had a new ramen spot via facebook and we had to try it! There is plenty of parking and easy to find. Inside there is a bar seating area, multiple tables and booths and a sectioned off area which could possibly be used to host a group of 20-30 people. They have two tvs at the bar and two others in the seating area. I love when Ramen/Japanese restaurants have Ramune soda. They do offer hibachi but it's not at the table like some other places. Everything is made in their kitchen. We ordered the edamame to start and ramen of course. I had the tonkatsu ramen with an extra soft boiled egg. The ramen came out relatively quick but they forgot my chasu! Easy fix they brought it out on a plate. They literally just opened today so they'll get their rhythm soon! Will come back! read more

We got the chashu buns appetizer (did not get pictures) highly recommend the soft sticky buns and bbq sauce with tender chashu pork...yummy! Customer service is a dying form but Kelsey was our waitress and was extraordinary. I doubt we will let anyone else serve us when we return. A ramen shop is something Burleson has been lacking, and Ramen Bisto fills that void and then some. Our table ordered Chashu Buns, gyoza, chicken teriyaki ramen, Tonkastu spicy, regular, and black. We all loved our meals. Bonus: upon walking in there was a resin, movable ramen decoration that is eye catching and defiantly a conversation starter. read more

Went for the first time and was NOT disappointed!!! Super friendly staff! Hailey was awesome at the bar, very attentive and helpful when we had questions about the food. The place was quaint, clean and quiet. I had spicy Miso, husband had the Spicy Tonkatsu Black. Neither were too spicy, and the pork was seared before it was added which gave it a whole new dimension. The eggs were perfectly soft boiled and marinated, and the noodles were the perfect texture. I liked both, but I liked his Spicy Tonkatsu Black better. read more

I ordered take out. We waited for it to be made and then We picked it up and drove immediately home 4 minutes away and the hot food was all barely warm except the soup. It was hot. The teriyaki sauce on the chicken had a fishy flavor and was more The consistency of pancake syrup. I got the gyozo and the potstickers just to see what the difference was and I still couldn't tell you. So not it just seems like potstickers cooked 2 kinds of ways. My son had sent me his order and when I ordered it there seemed to be some confusion in what I was ordering. The pork bao bun which he thought was dumplings and I even spelled it. But we got charsiu bun. He wouldn't even try it. He's a picky eater. I called to tell the owner about the mixup which I'm still not sure how it was but with language barrier we the wrong item. He seriously could care less. Being a restaurant manager myself I would have offered to at least replace it. Especially building return guests. It's all about hospitality and customer service. It was one of the cheapest items on the menu. So it should t have been a big deal. He was also rude about it. Or annoyed rather. I took a bite hoping it wouldn't go to waste and it was inedible. The sauce was so salty and thick. I am not one to exaggerate but I nearly spit it out and I find that to be incredibly rude to do. I have dumpling soup I'm not even going to touch. The dumplings also had a fishy flavor and at this point I'm just over it. Not to mention. 12 dumplings and a 2oz portion cup of a sauce that was not typical. Maybe people like it. But I prefer the one that you get at literally every other place ever. And it would have been depleted after 1-2 dumplings. I mentioned this as well if we got any sauce when calling about the pork bao and he said that was it. Also didn't seem to care on that one either. Edit: that last part was a draft. Posting now. I threw all the food away. 3 days later. Threw away $80 worth of food. I just got laid off. That hurt. I just couldn't do it. I will say my son ate some of the potstickers and white rice. read more

Upon entering this brand new restaurant I noticed it had a small cozy atmosphere with a modern element. Everything was clean and sanitary. The staff were inviting and attentive. I did not see a single staff member slacking. The restaurant got busy and it was all hands on deck. For appetizers we ordered the Steamed Pork Dumplings and Crab Rangoons. The dumplings were cooked well. Taste wise they were lacking in flavor. Not anything to rave about. The crab Rangoons were actually some of the best I've had. For the main course my boyfriend ordered the Teriyaki Ramen. It was pretty good! The chicken was cooked nicely, the noodles weren't overcooked or undercooked, and the meal in its entirety was rather savory. He ate the entire bowl and left no crumbs (literally). I ordered the Tonkatsu Black Ramen. The broth was rich and creamy with a nice garlic flavor. My ramen came with pork and it was cooked well without feeling dry. Now, I have had ramen elsewhere that is better BUT with Ramen Bistro being much closer, the food being pretty good, and the quality of the service we will be back! Ok Ramen Bistro I see you! First off went on the second night of opening there was a line for dine in as expected I will never judge service on opening week but staff was friendly as hell, I loved it. Ordered take out from the bar; tonkatsu black with some Edamame. I believe the manager or owner was taking my order and told me it would be about a 30 minute wait not a problem. I asked if I could sit at the bar and get a drink he replied absolutely. Sat down the bartender Matt wasted no time and asked me what I would like. I asked what is your strongest drink. If you have a bar and you know your product that can make up for anythings that may lack... Well in my book anyway. So he told me a sake tea or something like that which is kinda like a Japanese long Island; Awesome! It was good and had a small punch to it. So I talked to a couple other patrons, Matt stayed attentive, I got my food and left. The placed looked a little small but I did not walk around the entire dine in area but I will leave a review for my next visit in which I will stay and dine in. I will tell you for it to be busy from what I seen it was clean and maintained. So excited to taste this ramen because I love ramen and have only relied on one place in Fort Worth to appease my ramen urges I rushed home. Now let me tell you as I mentioned I frequent another ramen spot and there take out is lacking in the broth department because that's what makes the ramen right!? So you get very little compared to dining in. RAMEN BISTRO DID NOT UPSET! Their take out bowl for the ramen was pretty big with enough broth to sit me back in my chair take a deep breath from being full. So onto the edamame. The only issue I have is I wanted some more sea salt but other than that it was cooked perfectly the edamame was not hard, the taste was fresh and satisfying... 4.5 out of 5. No onto the main attraction the tonkatsu black. First I tasted the chasu tender very flavorful, then the bamboo not too crunchy but just the right bite, onto the woodear mushrooms had the crunch and the not too earthy flavor. Last before these guys became one was the broth ... Yep! Creamy, thick, flavourful, the black garlic popped as I let the broth settle on my pallette. Once I incorporated everything into one it was time for the noodles which did not disappoint, good texture, good consistency and flavor. This soup in my opinion was a 5 out of 5 and I will definitely be back to try other dishes especially the ramen. Perfect cozy ramen spot in Burleson! Tried the spicy miso ramen and it was amazing -- super flavorful broth with the perfect kick of heat, tender noodles, and plenty of toppings. You can tell everything's fresh and made with care. The vibe is relaxed and the staff is really welcoming too. Great spot to warm up and get your ramen fix without driving to Fort Worth. After we ate we ended up going up to the waitress and apologize that we didn't get her, she said it wasn't our fault (of course) and that he had been doing it all day because we were told he's the owner. Horrible food I'm so sorry but the teriyaki texture resembled literal snot , when I was handed my food my hand stuck to the plate for about 6 inches and my undercooked shrimp was on a bed of raw onions. I really like leaving good reviews but this is one of my most memorable trips to a restaurant and for all the wrong reasons.It took us 30 MINUTES to get a table. The hibachi tastes so bad the sauce doesn't taste real almost like it was burnt corn syrup and salt.The ambiance is the best part but at the same time it makes it seem like it's something it isn't.The actual ramen here is like spaghetti noodles.The highlight of this trip was a really nice waitress who felt bad for my table of 3 because we didn't enjoy our almost 100 dollar meal. Again I LOVE leaving good reviews but I couldn't this time. I know others who have gone here and they all said basically the same thing slow service, bad food, and it's expensive. So out of all like 6 people that have gone here I know of all said it was bad and I do NOT recommend this restaurant but maybe I'm wrong and this will be someone's favorite restaurant. read more
