Great little mom-and-pop Thai restaurant in an unassuming strip mall. I had a tasty mild yellow curry with tofu and my friend had the sweet and sour tilapia that he said was very good. We also shared an order of the fresh spring rolls, which were, in fact, very fresh and served with a sweet peanut dipping sauce. Service was excellent and the decor is super cute. Stopped by on a Tuesday night since we were close by and high ratings. Needless to say we eat Thai food at least once a wk from another restaurant. Saw the high ratings and were very excited. This wasn't bad but not the best. The food lacked flavor. The wings were unseasoned just plain fried. The crab was the same and so were the eggrolls. Food lacked flavor and salt. It wasn't bad... it was edible but that was it. The fried rice was ordered medium on heat and it wasn't even mild in heat. Had no heat to it. We were a bit disappointed considering the ratings. I came for dinner on a Monday evening and the service was great because it wasn't so busy! A few weeks ago we tried dining in on a Friday night but the wait was 30+ mins. We had crab rangoons and fried beef egg rolls and both were delicious, crunchy, and hot! My fiancé had a Thai tea which was a bit of a let down as it was very milky, we are typically used to having stronger Thai teas for sure. Our entrees, the Tom kha soup + khao soi soups were amazing though! We loved the flavor it was very good. We would come back for these soups alone. Lastly we ended off with the mango sticky rice, which also fell under like the Thai tea in my opinion, the rice was clumpy and salty. Was pleasantly surprised by this place. Came in for some dinner and ordered a tofu pad thai. The rice noodles had a nice bite without being too chewy, and was very flavorful. It also comes with some ground peanuts on the side. I do wish there was a bit of lime, but still very good. Service was super quick. Not a lot of seating, but it seems most people order to go. Wow wow wow! Absolutely wonderful flavors and a filling, but not heavy meal. Everyone in our group loved their meals.

Finally visited in person, and it was fantastic! We usually door dash, and have always had a great experience. We always start with the crunchy vegetable spring rolls, not only are they always good, not the particular sweet and sour sauce they provide for dipping is really good too. We had the drunken noodles and the peanut chicken, both had great flavor and perfect portion size. We both ordered medium heat, and I definitely think it could be spicier bc to both of us, they didn't seem to be spicy in the least. I placed an order here tonight and was really disappointed with the overall quality. The spring rolls were a letdown--the lettuce inside was bitter and looked wilted, and the peanut sauce was extremely thick and had a jelly-like texture that just didn't taste right. I also ordered the Thai and fusion chicken, but it was so dry that it seemed like most of what I was eating was just fried batter with very little actual chicken inside. The Pad Thai was okay, but the protein in it was dry and tasted like it wasn't fresh. For the price, I expected much better quality. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be ordering again. read more

Two years after moving into this area, we came across this little place that is every bit "hole-in-the-wall" and every bit arcane gem. I have a penchant for Tom Kha, a brilliant blend of lemongrass, coconut milk and galangal. It's complex blend of sweet, citrus, and savory was a gateway food for me to the world of fusion eating. Every bite is an explosion of yumminess. From there, I've branched out into the menu at Thai & Fusion and found every selection outstanding. The Crab Rangoon was next level. The Garlic Fish Special, also delicious. And don't miss the Thai tea, which was perfectly balanced with sweet creamy and refreshing. Service is good. Atmosphere is what you'd expect from a hole-in-the-wall. It's really not about the build out here. It's the food. it comes out hot and fast. The location is pretty bad really, on one end of the remote end of Alliance Town Center dominated by furniture places and a Sam Moon. I would not have tried Thai & Fusion because I noticed it while driving by. Thanks Yelp, for the bread crumbs. For some reason, a horrible review from 2013 sits atop the "Yelp Sort" of this page, for me anyway. This is not reflective of the experience we have had here in our several visits. This place is incredible. It is as good or better than the place my husband and I used to frequent in Orange County, CA - a place that was often seen on "best Thai in the US" lists. We never thought we would find Thai here in DFW (especially in FW) that could match that. So this place was truly a wonderful and welcome surprise. We've tried crispy spring rolls, tofu pad thai, chicken pad kee mao, pork pad see ew, garlic fish (GET THIS), green curry fish, beef panang curry, and chicken pad prik king. Every single dish was perfect (with the tiny complaint that they really should use Chinese broccoli in the pad see ew). The curries are deeply savory and rich, as they should be. The pad thai tastes like genuine pad thai. They do house special crispy fish, which is a big thumbs up from me on any Thai menu, but even more so when it is this freaking good. The pad kee mao is probably the best we've ever had. I am thrilled I found this place and even more thrilled that they are close enough to be in my delivery area. I cannot imagine we will get tired of it anytime soon (still plenty more menu to try!). read more

The only reason we came here for a birthday was because of the high ratings here on Yelp. I don't like leaving negative reviews but holy cow- this place was terrible! We've had thai food pretty much everywhere and this was so bad. The peanut sauce tasted like sugary puddy. The dish my dad got had a very fowl smell. The chicken fried rice was fishy. Some photos here on Yelp show a bar or variety of beverages, but they have zero alcohol. They were clearly short handed, and the waitress did the best she could. She was very kind. But wow. Fast service and comforting food. Just missing some things. The Pad Thai was very flavorful and didn't have that gummy consistency that I dread from bad Thai food places. Had just the right amount of sauce in the noodles and the fried tofu wasn't overly dry. The pad see eew was the same and we had no complaints. The Tom yum soup was what I was most excited for and although it did satisfy my craving, I wish it was giving a little bit more fresh flavor. I was expecting more mushrooms and tomatoes to be added but even then, still a pretty solid soup. Still felt like something was missing. The mango sticky rice was a good balance between the sweetness of the mango and the saltiness of the sticky rice. But what about tha coconut milk!!!??!! Might've been a conscious decision to leave it out but I still felt incomplete without it. The rice had this watery sweet liquid at the bottom instead. The service was splendid in the beginning but our server didn't wait our table till the very end of the meal. We had to eat our sticky rice with dirty dishes in the way which was a little annoying considering he came back 3 times for the check and just ignored the dishes. If you're looking for just a good pad Thai or any noodle dish, this place is the way to go. However, the other dishes did make me feel a bit incomplete and there was much to long for. There were two large parties dining in when I arrived, and yet our food still came out in a very timely manner. I was very impressed with this! I got the Shumai for an appetizer, which came out quickly and was delicious. I got the Pod Woon Sen for the entree, which was amazing. I'll be returning! Edit: I did return. For take out. Also ordered the Pad Kee Mow and the noodles were soooo mushy it was like eating baby food... it just didn't taste or look like it used to. Been here many times over the past few years, and this is a family favorite both for take out and dine in. Pad Kee Mow, Pad Thai, Fried Rice, and Basil and Garlic Stir Fry are among our favorites.
