It was so good I went twice in one weekend. I love the ambiance of the place I can come hang out here all day or at leas a few hours and eat good food and just chill. First time I came I tried the pad Thai which has a delightful sweet flavor and fills you up to satisfaction. I like how they pack and fill those bowls to the top I mean there's about two and a half meals in there I swear that bowl is like 5 pounds. It was so good though - we got any side of rice which was really good with it and my son loves it. Husband had pad si ew (sp?) and it was also really good. I picked up a to-go order for dinner as we usually do and I just have to rave about the new to-go parking spot! Old town Burleson is so hard to find parking even at odd times so this addition is highly welcomed by myself who typically orders to-go. The food this time we had chicken pad Thai 3* and yellow curry with chicken 2*. As usual the food was great! The pad Thai was very saucy- we've noticed an inconsistency with the noodle dishes- but my husband didn't complain. The size of the dishes are always perfect as they supply us for lunch the next day! Tried to order online and order wouldn't go thru. Picked up the phone and called, asked the young lady who answered the phone to check for my delivery order. Didn't see it. Okay can I just place the order with you? Yes, gave my order and address. She said great it would be 20 min. I thought that was quick, but said okay great. Had tried the Crowley locations several time and was anxious to try the new location as they offered one of my favorite and rare to find dishes Khao Soi. The place is really cute and conveniently located. Clean and inviting inside. Staff is super friendly. The Khao Soi was very good. The basil fries I was a little disappointed in. They were just wedge cut fries with some basil chicken and mayo on top. Nothing spectacular. I would def choose a different appetizer next time. We've been on a Thai kick lately and found Pandan on Yelp. I ordered the pineapple fried rice as well as the house special. The rice wasn't dried with curry so that was weird but they gave me some curry powder on the side and the level three spice was just right. The rice had good taste but was even better when the powder was added. The pandan had too much noodle for me liking, had a strange taste but was great when soy sauce was added. Every time I come in, the employees look at you like how dare you disturb me. I really wish they were nice. I hope management actually looks at the reviews and tells the employees to pep up. Chicken Panang "Thai" curry with white rice. This was AMAZING! It's spicy just how I asked it to be. The young man at the register was super nice and even suggested the spice level and checked on me when I started eating to see how I liked everything. Really like this place. Somehow, though, they often misinterpret "no spice" so if you're a lightweight like me then be sure to stress that you absolutely DO NOT want a spicy dish. I'm a fan of their Crowley location but they really decided to upgrade with the ambiance of this place. Looks nice and modern. The menu is simplified and I believe a bit pricier. I always get a VERY small side of sweet and sour and was surprised to see that this location now charges $1 for it, which is new. My fav dish is the pineapple fried rice with a bit of sweet and sour mixed in. So yum. I also like the Pad Kee mow with either shrimp or chicken. Again, no spice. This dish is great because the flavors are amazing with thick veggies and thick noodles. I always have enough for the next day, it is very filling. The crunchy spring rolls are delicious as well. I will say though- hubby and I tried the pad Thai tonight for the first time and I was quite disappointed. It was super dry, like SUPER. Definitely needed more sauce like a previous review has already commented. I had to get onto hubby because he ate so much rice when the pad Thai was also sitting right in front of him to eat. He agreed that it was a NO go. Won't be getting that again. I'll stick with my pad kee mow. I'll still be nice and go with a 4 star review, although, considering the pad Thai, it should really be a 3. Pandan and I go way back, however. Overall, I'm happy that this location is now open. The place is on a corner right across the street from BABEs chicken. Everything on the menu I have already tried at least once, so I had to bring it to YELP To give it my review. So far, everything seems to be fresh, Customer service is NOT bad here and they always try to accommodate your taste buds, It is hard to find small eatery places that not only do that but care enough to see if you liked it or not. So that's a huge plus... People will return to places where the food is Fresh, where customer service is great and the taste is up to the best of standards for the type of food being served. We love eating at the original location in Crowley and we were really excited to have them move into Old Town Burleson. The two locations are very different from each other - both in ambiance and the menu itself. We enjoy both locations but this one gets the benefit of being a part of Old Town. We love the curry dishes and the selection of local soft drinks and green tea. It's great to have this place around when we have an abundance of BBQ, Tex-Mex, steak places, and burgers. Wow! My husband and tried Pandan for the first time this last weekend, 11/14/20. It's three days later and I'm still thinking and talking about how good it was! I had the Pad Thai with chicken. My husband had fried rice with veggies and chicken. Both were awesome. And let me tell you, we took our leftovers home and had them for dinner too! Generous helpings! The staff was helpful, friendly and all smiled a lot. Loved that! The store was bright, cheery and super clean. I will admit that it wasn't what I was expecting for an Asian food restaurant. It looked more like a French Bistro, and the lovely lady who took our order seemed to be Russian(?)...so not your typical Asian place. But who cares? The food was great! While we were there, we were the only ones in the dining room eating. However, there was a steady stream of people coming and going for takeout. That must mean it's popular. We sure liked it! I used to come to this place often when i was in school. It's been over 6 years not but I can say without a doubt this Thai food was my personal favorite out of everything Ive tried up till know. I don't know if it's changed for the better or worse but when I used to eat here, it was the best tasting thai food in the state. I tried all over to find a replacement. So excited that this placed opened up in Old Town Burleson! I had not been to the location in Crowley but they have a slightly different menu. The hubs and I were on our way to Fresco's and noticed that this place was open (opened yesterday, Father's Day). We got the fried dumplings, the loaded basil fries, a pad see ew, and a hainese chicken and rice. My only critiques are that they should have written descriptions under each menu item. We weren't sure what the fries were loaded with even after asking but when we got them, the fries were SO amazing!!! The pad see ew is flat noodles with veggies and your choice of protein. It was absolutely delicious! My hianese chicken could have been a bit less dry but the flavors were there. Again, having descriptions under each menu item would help greatly as many people that haven't tried Thai food have no idea what half of the menu is. Lastly, I cannot express how happy I am that they serve Jasmine milk tea because it is my absolute favorite! Herbal, not too sweet, and oh so good! Thank you for the food poisoning that sent both my fiancé and I to the emergency room. Our food was delivered and sat on our front porch for god knows how long and we were never notified.
