He was willing to discuss some of our choices and explain why some things would and would not work. He was such a pleasure to work with. Once again we needed an electrician and the call went to Panel Pros. He came out to discuss project and gave us a reasonable estimate. About a week later he was here doing the work. I had my electric panel replaced and upgraded. Justin, the electrician and his wife Betty, who manages the business, were excellent to work with! Justin did a very good job relocating my meter and put the ugly wires and pipes through the attic, so it wouldn't mar my home's appearance. He did his work with precision and neatness, like it was his own house. He was very knowledgeable, having already worked for another large company before starting his own. He cleaned up impeccably. Betty was an excellent communicator, answering promptly so many questions. They both really aimed to please. On top of this, their price was reasonable. We had some weird, intermittent problems with lighting and outlets in our bedroom and office. Thought it was probably a faulty breaker. Justin came out and took a look at the breakers.. and predicted the problem was probably a dodgy outlet with push-connectors that have worked loose over 20 years. Told me how to locate it, check it and fix it myself. Wouldn't take any money from me! His diagnosis was 100% spot on .. I bought a $10 outlet tester at home depot, and found an outlet that seemed to have a dodgy connection. When I went to remove it, one of the wires on the back fell right out of the push-connector.  Exactly as Justin described!  lol I reattached it using screw-terminals, the way he explained to me, and all seems good now. Thanks Justin! It's always great to find people who are extremely good at what they do, and honest and nice as well. I highly recommend Justin Buetow, owner of Panel Pros Electric. I wanted to install a fan timer (instead of a simple on/off fan switch) in a downstairs bathroom. I tried to purchase a fan timer myself but it had confusing instructions about whether the fan was over or under 0.3 amps, and my fan was 0.29, and I wasn't sure what that meant. I needed an electrician's knowledge and advice before purchasing and installing a fan timer. Justin came to my house to give me a free estimate. He didn't have the switch I wanted, so he ordered it, and when that one didn't work, he ordered another special one. Two visits later, it was determined that because my house is wired strangely, I can't have the kind of switch I want without rewiring or buying a more expensive fan, so I will have to go with a different kind of fan switch. However, my point is that Justin would not give up. He wanted me to be happy and to have the kind of switch I wanted, so he kept trying to find one that would work. He went above and beyond my initial request. The information he gave me was honest and accurate. His wife Betty demonstrated great customer service as she answered my questions and managed the appointments. I will definitely hire them again for my next electrical task. read more

We used Panel Pros to install an outlet above our fireplace so we could hang our flatscreen tv without any cords having to hang off the side of the fireplace. We reached out to several different companies, including Panel Pros, but everyone provided very vague responses, wouldn't setup a date to come look at our home to offer a quote or just didn't respond. I can tell you right now I am not going to approve a job when the "quote" has the price varying in a wide range. Panel Pros Electric installed an updated panel in our 80s built home where dimming lights and slowing fans were the norm whenever certain high powered electronics were used - microwave, dryer, etc. Justin arrived promptly and finished about when he estimated. He even stayed after he was finished, waiting for the power company to return to reinstall the meter. We sent him home after it became apparent that they were running really late.
