I got up walked up to them said "hey have you guys finished my bagel" they said "did you order bagel" and I said "yes I did." they asked "do u have a recipt" I said "no receipt was offered to me" and then I showed the buzzer that I was given when I ordered my bagel. Sorry to say that (other than their bakery items) we feel the food is below average. We commend the chain in having curbside service for seniors and others who can't go inside to eat. Twice in one month they mixed up our order. Fortunately the servers are very pleasant and willing to say they will make it up to us the next time we order. This Panera has major issues at breakfast. This morning I spent 16 minutes getting a sliced cold bagel, cream cheese and a coffee. These are all point of purchase items. No cooking and the customer actually serves themselves coffee. Panera just hands you the cup. First the cashier asked me to wait while she spent 6 minutes going to the back to locate ciabatta, fill a creamer dispenser and do who knows what else. (None of these actions by the way were performed for me). Then she took my cold order. She then proceeded to take the order of the lady behind me. Scone/Coffee. Another cold order. She moved on the to the next person in line. Mind you, there is no one else working the breakfast counter. The line had grown to 6 people. She moves on to the next lady. I finally asked when she was actually going to fill my order and the one for the lady behind me. I don't necessarily blame her. If she's manning the register, someone else should be slinging muffins and bagels. A manager came out and filled my order after I stopped him. I got back to work and it wasn't what I ordered. That's on me, I should have checked before I left LOL. Assuming they would get it right was wistful and naive. I mean it's a monumental task to read the receipt and grab the honey walnut cream cheese...right? On top of all that the cup they gave me for my coffee essentially melted and disintegrated by the time I got to work. Poor training. Or a serious lack of knowledge when it comes to food service. There's a reason the pastries and bagels are sitting out in bins right next to the register. It's so you can send me on my way and concentrate on the hot orders. Do not order large orders from the Athens, Ga. location. If they do not want to make more they will not make your order. Then they will let you drive to Panera for no reason. Customer service is terrible. They do not care if you are upset or that you had to have the items at a certain time. read more

Why do I keep trying? Stopped by and ordered 3 entrees and 3 soups. After the usual wait, I was given my order. Checked it in the store before leaving and I had 1 entree and 2 soups. At the expediting station was a general manager and helping to make the food was a manager. My advice is to send your employees and managers to a high volume store that has the customer service, order to delivery time and order accuracy you want to achieve... unless of course the bad operations is the reputation you desire. So frustrating that this store can't seem to achieve basic operational performance. Btw- you also need to teach safety protocols. I watched an employee prop a dust pan against the wall.. it fell. This location stinks. They mess up my order almost, if not every visit. The other day I got a chicken ceased salad that came out with no chicken on it, went to the counter to wait to get it fixed, and no one acknowledged me. After about 5 minutes of being walked past I finally got someone's attention, and she took my salad back, through some chicken on it, and handed it to me. I guess a 2pm visit to Panera isn't a good idea. No beagles left, very poor customer service and the worst sandwiches ever. We paid 25 dollars for sandwiches and threw half of them away. NONE OF THEM ARE WEARING MASKS!!! Ordered online since covid is rampant in this town and timed it so I could pickup curbside on my way home from a curbside grocery pickup. Inconsistent and they have a hard time getting it right. My wife and I have eaten here/taken out a few times, and for some reason everything is inconsistent and usually they get something wrong. Most recently on 5/17, my wife picked up some salads to go and the Greek salad I ordered was half the size of normal, served in a different container(small plastic clamshell instead of the larger box) and only had lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese (missing pepperoncini, onions, olives and w/e/ else. So I came here to get a sugar free coffee of some sort and found out they have no sugar free options and the two girls behind the counter seemed to not care at all and the lack of respect was appalling. Tired after a long day and a workout, we decided to get Panera delivered. I paid $10 for this tiny salad that the manager claimed was the same portion as you receive when you have it there. It was missing half the ingredients and the portion was smaller than the side salad that my daughter received. I called the manager who immediately informed me that the new paper containers held exactly the same amount as their original container rather than believing that it was much smaller than what I have there.
