When you visit Panera, you expect a similar experience that you'll get at other Panera locations, and this is no exception. Food is always freshly prepared, service is usually lightning quick even when crowded, and it gets crowded quite often, and staff is always helpful. The only small gripe I have is that sometimes the lime soda is not available and that's my go-to drink. Otherwise, a well run Panera location. read more

I've been to all of the area Panera's and the food is okay for a chain. We've ordered bagels and cream cheese as well sandwiches for work events and the food satisfies the crowd. I would recommend their Soufflés which are not easy to find anywhere for breakfast. All of the varieties are tasty but I think the Spinach/Artichoke is the best one. For sandwiches, there are many Chicken, Turkey varieties and menu adjusts slightly seasonally. I've tried most of them and would recommend the Frontega Chicken & Turkey/Avocado BLT. They have plenty of salad choices and started serving Pasta dishes recently. The coffee cake is not too sweet and just right and a good one for a party. Service is okay & they are popular for breakfast & lunch so they do get busy. read more

I think it's kind of weird to review chains like this, but I just have to say how impressed I am with Panera's lobster roll!!!! It's on the more expensive side of things they sell, but absolutely worth every penny. I was worried it would look nothing like the picture and be more mayonnaise than it was meat, but that worrying was for nothing! The roll was overflowing with delicious, fresh, juicy lobster meat and had such a good flavor! The artisan roll itself was super soft and buttery, too. I have to hand it to Panera, for a chain they know how to perfect the lobster roll!!!! The only thing I can suggest is not trying to eat it out of the container they give you if you order it to-go, because it's way too big for that and you'll make a mess! In ordering via mobile app for Rapid Pick Up in cafe this evening, upon unpacking things once hubby arrived home, the order was incomplete in many different ways. We realize that things are crazy due to Covid, employee shortages, and supply shortages, but the lack of care and attention to those that want to offer you patronage is HEAVILY disrespectful. My soup was missing in my PIck 2. My daughter's sandwich was whole sandwich was only half filled. In addition, the avocado wasn't even fully peeled but yet put on (choking hazard). Hubby also informed us regarding how unprofessional the staff and the cleanliness. etc of the establishment were. We will no longer eat at or from this location. The food is good. I'm disappointed this year because Panera did not offer their usual seasonal variety of Mushroom soup. I really enjoy the Black Bean, The Vegetarian Veg with Pesto, and the Creamy Tomato with Cheese croutons. They get a 4 star because of consistency and a superior product. While not Jewish Style bagels, their bagels are yummy and make for wonderful sandwiches. Their new Rewards program is great, and has saved me money because I would have gone there even if they didn't offer the rewards. But I am happy they do. I do have one wish/request: Please bring back the Nutty Chocolate Chipper cookie. That was your second best cookie coming a close second after the shortbread. As a consistent visitor to Panera Bread and a huge Panini enthusiast, I love eating a nice lunch at my local Panera Bread. Although I truly have to be in the mood for a Panini, I am never disappointed when I go to Panera. My favorite sandwich is the Cuban chicken sandwich which features smoked ham, grilled chicken, provolone cheese, sweet pickle, and a tangy chipotle sauce. It is just so mouthwatering. I also love complimenting my sandwich with a nice warm bowl of their creamy mac and cheese. Overall, the atmosphere and vibe that I get from Panera is very casual, relaxing, and somewhat businessy. What I mean by "businessy" is that it appears to be a nice place to bring your laptop or tablet and surf the web, or even in my case, do some homework. The restaurant and tables are always clean, and the workers are very fast in preparing your meal. This is basically, in my opinion, a fast food restaurant with good quality, all in a dine-in atmosphere. If the sandwiches are still delicious, the mac and cheese is creamy, and the atmosphere is very chill and casual, I will be returning to Panera Bread whenever I have that huge craving for a Cuban Panini. read more

Panera is a pretty good chain, and this panera has a pretty smooth operation. I walked in around 1, and there were approximately a million people here, but the line moved smooth and fast, and our food came out quickly. I got the Roast Beef Asiago - I really miss Au Bon Pan, this wasn't quite what I wanted, but close enough to entertain me simply by ordering it - which was quite good. The cheesy bread and the slice of cheddar cheese seemed a bit much to me, but it was still tasty. I got asked if chips were ok with my sandwich, but not told what the other options were. Also, by the time I finished serving my own drink, my sandwich was out, but they don't seem to re-shout numbers, so I waited a minute and then asked for the number on the sandwich I thought was mine. Would have given it 4 stars if they made my drink for me (honestly, if I can pay $2 for an iced tea, you can put it in the cup for me) and re-shouted my order number when I didn't come get it. read more

We walked in to pick up a carry out order and a very beautiful black woman had her fingers in her mouth picking her teeth at the register and seemed to be in distress like maybe she has something stuck in her tooth. She went to the back and was looking in her cameras phone to see into her mouth (and was still in sight of us). I've seen black lives matter pins they were all wearing, switching male and female name tags to support indoctrination of gender neutral issues.....Recently hired two new girls: texting on phones when taking orders, telling jokes and talking to each other when taking orders, and were discussing a displeased customer and said "F them" right in front of my daughter.....Also, one of the most poorly managed Paneras. My husband and I love the fuji apple salad. We get one every Friday after we do our grocery shopping. Some weeks the salads are great but sometimes like today, there were no apples on the salad and there was barely a salad in the bowl. Wait -- there was a THIRD time my order was correct but there was a big black hair in it that appears to be from artificial hair. My salad was remade but not correctly. I've never seen so many sour-looking , unfriendly workers in one place -- from the cashier to the order assembly & pickup. This is probably the worst Panera bread cafe I have ever been to. I went yesterday for dinner. Not only was the cafe disgustingly dirty, the cashiers were unfriendly and uneducated about their menu. There was what I believe to be the manager not looking at all interested in the going's on of her cafe. I waited 20 minutes for soup that came out cold and had no taste and when I asked for a replacement the same manager gave me an attitude. I'll never go back there and the one in Abingdon is worse. Great food and service as always! Panera is always consistent and I appreciate that about them. However, I typically eat in. This was my first time getting takeout at a Panera. The cashier and cooks were very friendly (made small talk with them all). Great guest experience and clean location, but next time I won't order salad to go. It's in such a small container that you don't get as much lettuce. I understand that this may be an optical illusion (since it may fluff up in the bowl when eating in). They didn't Short me on toppings though. I was pleased to see that the toppings were still generous but it didn't feel as proportionate to the rest. I got the You Pick Two meal, so it's only the small salad but a lil more lettuce next time please. French onion soup was delicious as always and I really appreciated that they kept the croutons separate on the side to avoid getting soggy. read more

My family and I are huge fans of Panera Bread and have had great experiences over the years, but this place has consistently been the exception. The number of times they have gotten our order wrong, had sub par ingredients, or substituted something without even mentioning it to us has reach unacceptable levels. Today we order brownies to take home they were hard as a rock! There is no way the person giving us those would not have known that. The last couple of visits have seen hard avocado on sandwiches, the bread substituted without mentioning it and ingredients being left off completely. In addition to the brownies today the sandwich I order was again half assed. I am done!! It is a shame as they are close by but we will get our Panera fix it other locations. My wife and I received a gift card from our kids and went to the restaurant in Bel Air, Maryland on Saturday. Wow - I did not expect it to be so bad! I ordered a full steak panini and wy wife a 1/2 steak panini and cup of chicken rice soup. The size of the bread for each sandwich was the same. The amount of "steak" in each sandwich was the same - 1 very thin deli slice. Only difference was that my sandwich was cut in 1/2 (I assume to fool me into thinking I had a whole sandwich). Arby's across the street from this place provides more steak, for less money and they know the difference between a 1/2 sandwich and a whole sandwich. The soup had way too much salt and did not taste fresh. A lunch for $19.42 should be better. Perhaps this place is not for adult dining. This restaurant must cater to the crowd of teenage kids in the booths using the WiFi. Our kids were dissapointed that their gift was not what they thought they were getting and so were we. read more
