Really delicious food. I like how you can order from a kiosk and then pick up your food. I got the pita and it was so much food!! I am definitely going to return to try other things!

The absolute worst gyros that I have ever had in my life. The meat was extremely dry. The Taziki's sauce was runny like water.

I was given a card my first visit to Shah's when I ordered the chapli chicken platter, a bowl with ground chicken patties with spices, and included a few pakora chips. I didn't know about the promotion, but it fit my plan to try every type of bowl! The bowls are customized at the counter, adding sauteed peppers'n'onions, black beans, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, hummus, chickpeas, etc. I usually keep it simple. They are very generous with their signature white sauce and you might want to ask for less, and the green sauce is tasty too. The pakora chips are very good, I recommend anyone skip the french fries this time to try them instead. I wasn't a fan of the pita, thick and without much flavor. The fish had just the right amount of coating and was very good. I'd skip the chicken kofta, it was too dry. Overall, good.

First, my 2-year-old daughter was crying because she wanted to drink water. She only drinks water with a straw. My son went to ask for a straw first, but the employee rudely told him, "Go sit down." Then I went to ask for one myself, and he replied, "I'm making your food right now," and still refused to hand me a simple straw. It would have taken only a few seconds to give me one, but instead I was treated disrespectfully. In addition, I asked for extra tomatoes and extra pickles on my burgers. When I opened the burgers, I found that neither the extra tomatoes nor the extra pickles had been added. They were prepared as regular burgers instead. On top of that, the burgers looked like they had been made in a hurry. They were dry, lacked flavor, and were much worse than the food I had received from this restaurant in the past. The employees who worked there before were always friendly, and the food quality was much better. The employee working that evening appeared to be a man around 40-50 years old. I even left a $2.09 tip, yet I was still treated with disrespect. I am a paying customer, and I deserve to be treated politely. If an employee is tired or having a bad day, they should not take it out on customers. I hope the management takes this complaint seriously and addresses this employee's behavior. I do not want other customers to have the same unpleasant experience that I had.

The server asked if we wanted to order from the menu or the lunch buffet. I had no idea what was being served at the lunch buffet, but I knew for sure I wanted to taste the curry goat. The curry goat as an entree was $19.99, and the lunch buffet was $17.99. The server suggested that my husband and I try the buffet so we could taste everything, and that we order from the menu next time I visit. I'm so happy she suggested that. The menu itself was big and it had so many things to chose from . Now lets talk about this lunch buffet, but before I do that, let me share that, I shared with the server that I didn't want to go look at the buffet options because I didn't want to look at the food and others get the wrong idea, so she took the liberty of walking me to the buffet and showing me each item, detailing what it was and the flavor it encompassed, I can't express how much I appreciate her doing that. The buffet menu had so many great options, including chicken masala, curry goat, and so much more. The curry goat was my favorite, the meat was so tender and the flavors were infused perfectly. The rice, the noodles and every single item that I tasted, was absolutely delicious! The service was awesome, our server was attentive, courteous and very pleasant. The restaurant was well-kept and tidy.

My order was for chicken tiki masala, basmati rice, garlic naan, cheese naan, and a side of tiki masala sauce. The order came as quick as it would allow - with my ordering right at open. I must say - this food was very good. The chicken tiki masala I ordered at a 3/10 heat level and it had just that - a nice spice to it without burning my face off. The chicken chunks were nice and tender - and the extra side of the sauce was perfect for dipping. The naan. I think I could eat naan everyday of my life. Fluffy flatbread that hugs the chicken and extra sauce, and the garlic and cheese variants were so damn good. Wow. The basmati rice was standard - which is a good thing and paired nicely with the tiki masala. Overall - damn good. Must have - whether you're a first timer or a seasoned Indian food person.

The service was attentive throughout our meal, and every dish arrived beautifully plated with great attention to detail. We started with the Beyti Sujuk Rolls and the Beetroot Hadiqa. The rolls were one of my favorite appetizers. They were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the yogurt and tomato sauce. The Beetroot Hadiqa was equally impressive, with beets, apples, walnuts...it was a refreshing combination of sweet, savory, and creamy flavors. For our entrees, we ordered the Riyash of Lamb and the Freekeh Short Rib. The lamb chops were cooked beautifully and served over couscous with broccolini, while the pistachio crust added a nice texture. The Freekeh Short Rib was incredibly tender and the rich beef jus paired perfectly with the mushrooms. It was hearty, comforting, and one of the best short rib dishes I've had. The cocktails were just as memorable. I ordered the Asfar So Good, while my partner had the Ashita Affair. Both were beautifully presented with a silky foam on top and were as delicious as they looked. The Asfar So Good was light, refreshing, and well-balanced with subtle floral and citrus notes, while the Ashita Affair had a smooth, creamy texture with pistachio and rose flavors that made it feel almost like a dessert cocktail without being overly sweet. This is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the ingredients, presentation, atmosphere, and service justify the cost. Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, and the overall experience was memorable from start to finish. If you're looking for elevated Middle Eastern cuisine, creative cocktails, and one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Baltimore, Ammoora is absolutely worth the splurge.

We had an earlier dinner reservation so it wasn't as crowded at the beginning but was quite busy at the end. We tried a couple different cocktails and I loved both of mine - Ashta Affair and Asfar So Good. The Ashta Affair was sweet and creamy and the Asfar So Good was deliciously refreshing. My friend really enjoyed his Old Fashioned Date and had a fun experience trying the El Massaya Arak. For appetizers, we ordered Muhamara and Mousakhan Chicken Rolls. The Muhamara came with pita and was such a great dip. The chicken rolls were equally as good with their own sumac labneh dip we enjoyed. For entrees, we shared the Braised Lamb Shank and Makloubeh. The portions were large and the meat was tender. Neither were over seasoned and were absolutely delicious. We couldn't finish it all and saved the rest for leftovers - yum! We wanted to try their dessert and ending up getting the Ashta Bil Asal and Ruz Bil Karaz. The Ashta Bil Asal had cotton candy which made it a fun dessert to try and the Ruz Bil Karaz had a great caramelization coating. Neither were overly sweet which we preferred. It was such a great ending to our meal. I absolutely loved my experience here. Our server, Miriam, was friendly and attentive. We even chatted with the GM, Iman, who also made sure we were provided a great first experience. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone who's looking for a boujee but amazing time!
