Please note, should you order something via rapid pickup and it is not available, they will neither call nor make an executive decision as to what an alternative would be. For example, ordered an everything bagel and they were out of everything bagels, so they put a hard stop on making the sandwich until I arrived twenty minutes later. This seems to contradict the purpose of "Rapid Pickup." Otherwise, it's a Panera. Same stuff, different location. read more

We went there yesterday evening and ordered sandwiches well it took a long time for them to get the order out about 25 minutes and the sandwiches were not correct so when I mentioned it, the employee started an argument with me about it instead of saying here let me fix it just continued to argue and when I asked for a manager the other employee took his mask off and said can I help you, I asked him if he was the manager and he said no, so I said I asked for the manager she finally showed up I explained to her the problem to her. She said she would remake them a long story short I will never go back, the sandwiches were still wrong I had to scrap off the mayonnaise the second time around. Worse place ever. It was also very dirty, hardly had any clean tables. If you let your employees be disrespectful to customers you have a big problem on your hands and when you all stand in the back of the house laughing about it is just wrong. This was a disaster. Been a big fan of Panera in TX and AZ for years - especially breakfast. Happy to find one in B'ville upon relocation. Had a terrible experience. Ordered my usual breakfast soufflé (the best) and told they were cooking and that my order and money could not be taken until they came out of the oven and they could be sure they were not burned. So I stood at the front by the counter for 14 minutes (counted) while 7 other people placed orders for prepared foods, paid and went and sat for the food to prepared and their table number to be filled. Just kept getting more upset as I realized what a terrible way to be treated. Finally the soufflés were ready and my order was taken and I was allowed to sit down when they were placed in the front. BTW - the actual soufflé was awesome as usual. Really a bummer when the service is so bad that it overshadows really good, quality food. read more

One of my favorite spots. I rate versus the promise - so I compare Panera to sandwich and coffee joints not to steakhouses. They are one of the best. Great bread and coffee and free Internet. Panera is the best! Fresh ingredients, healthy and not so healthy options, and the most delicious iced sugar cookies ever! I love that nutritonal information is so clearly displayed. Yes, it's more expensive than subway or McDonald's, but it's also much higher quality. You get what you pay for. I especially love the soups and the broth bowls. My kids go nuts for the mac & cheese. Stopped in to eat here because there were only a couple of cars. I ordered pick 2 sandwiches. I specifically told the cashier no vegetables on my sandwiches. I said mayo only. When we go the order it was wrong. My wife soup was correct. I sent back the sandwich. It took about ten minutes to make a new one. My wife had finished her meal already. I wanted to just leave and get our money back. The reason being the sandwich makers and waitresses we laughing very load and having a blast all within 6 feet of our table. They were talking and very distracted making jokes I guess. Thus they overlooked no veggies. When we left we were the only ones there and they were still laughing very loud. They took off the Sierra Turkey sandwich from the Menu which doesn't allow for rapid pickup anymore. Atlanta Bread and Mcallisters are better alternatives until they fix the stupid decision that was made of pulling the sierra turkey off the menu. The restaurant and employees itself I have no issue with. But when a company makes executive decisions that affects these restaurants it is the customer who suffers. I will not eat here again unless they bring the option for sierra turkey for rapid pickup. You can still get the sandwich but MUST order it in restaurant. NO RAPID PICKUP. which defeats the point because it takes them like 10 minutes per car at the drive through and forever in the restaurant during lunch hours. Seriously though. Food is as good as your average panera. Really should consider "massaged" salads when using kale to cut the bitterness. Service is fine, staff was friendly. It's hard to determine vegetarian friendly items here because the only items marked "vegetarian" were actually vegan. Seating at lunch time is awful. I use to eat here once or twice a month; however like a lot of Panera stores-- it seems no one knows how to run a vacuum or sweep a floor; I visited the store last year , the store's seating area was dirty-- went in today - store is dirty - if the customer area is dirty - it makes me question the food prep area's cleanliness; what's so hard about having an associate continuously clean the dinning area? Restaurant has moved to a new location and it really SUCKS. Out of everything, no concept on handling the response and the staff thinks customers are stupid idiots. Service very poor. We ordered bagels (which were available at the time) and waited 15 minutes for the stupid buzzer thing to go off. It never did and when we checked they said "oh, we're out of those". .. Grrrrrrrrrrr! The manager really sucked in her response it was a "oh well". No effort to make it right! Take a pass on this place until they get their head out of the dark place. Poor Service!!!!!! I usually get the soup. That has not had the same quality lately as it has in the past, so I tried the Chicken Tortellini Alfredo today via the drive thru. Horrible mistake. The bowl was half full, the tortellini looked like it had been sitting around. There was barely any alfredo and there was a pile of what looked like pre-chewed chicken thrown in the corner on top. Absolutely disgusting!! Unfortunately, I had a commitment and could not go all the way back to the store to return it. I have written to customer service and expect a full refund. read more

Walked in on July 4th, there was an odor at the entrance that had a dog smell. Ordering took at least 10 minutes with only two people in front of us that turned into one as the lady right in front of us left for having to wait too long. They were out of almost every bagel and it was only 10am. The appearance of the restaurant was dirty with trash on the floor and smudge stains on the windows. We ordered to go and were told they would call my name when it was ready. We sat by the soda machine but the "to go" window is out of site of any seats. We waited for over 15 minutes and saw a girl taking food to a customer that was eating in and had ordered after us. I got up to ask about our order and saw about 6 orders waiting at the window, including ours. It obviously sat there a while as my wife's egg sandwich was cold. First time going to this location and was extremely disappointed and grossed out. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

We hadn't been to Panera in some time and it was a Sunday evening which I know isn't generally the best time to catch most restaurants at their best. The first thing I see when we walk in the vestibule is a sign that says 'Clean' referring to their lettuce I guess. But I had to chuckle because there was a used napkin laying and the ground next to the sign. Once inside the atmosphere was sort of depressing, like a hospital waiting room. The music was barely loud enough to be heard which may be good as it was the worst generic elevator music I have heard in a restaurant in recent memory. There was food and trash under many of the tables. The table tops were completely bare (no salt and pepper, sweetener, table tents, nothing!) My wife enjoyed her salad, they had no clam chowder so I had the corn chowder in a bread bowl. It was ok. They carve the middle out of a round loaf of bread and place this 'core' on the plate next to the bread bowl filled with soup, then they place another piece of bread next to all this bread, not really necessary when you order the bread bowl. My wife's silverware (wrapped in a napkin) was disgusting with food on it. Management presence and effort is lacking. The staff had to come to two different tables, which had ordered, paid and sat down, to tell them some of their choices were not available. Update - upgrade to 4 stars I visited the restaurant again because people I was meeting wanted to eat here. I was reluctant but didn't mention it to them. This time it was at lunch during the week and although they were crazy busy the experience was much better. Better food, service, cleanliness. read more

I am sitting by the soda machine and hear employees in the kitchen talking. A guy and girl laughing and talking so loud; the guy said the f word and "damn guy" so loud it caught me by surprise. The girl (Annie) delivered my food and sounded like the same girl as I heard in the kitchen. Not a place to come with for a family setting, not professional and not quiet. I do not recommend this place as drive thru takes over 15 minutes and the staff have foul mouths! Keep it classy Panera! read more

Second time in a row we have sat waiting on our pick up order and about to be the last. We sighed up for the monthly coffe program and recommended 5 friends who have done the same. (This could be a great marketing tool) but so far it is very hit and miss. June 26th we waited 20 + minutes in the parking spot only to get come in and make them ourselves! Today was a repeat but we didn't wait the "normal" 20. 11 minutes in we went in and they were very unempethetic. Had one coffee ready and didn't know what the other was . We had planned on keeping the app as you are in our regular route to work. But some improvements definitely need to be made. On a good note they is 1 ladies that is always spot on with our orders and great attitude, so great job to her. I will get her name for a good review soon. We aren't asking for a lot, just good quick consistent coffee. The pastries and soups are great but coffee makes or breaks our day!! read more

Several years ago, Panera was a go-to for soups, sandwiches, and salads. With so much competition moving in, Panera seems to have lowered their expectation of food quality while simultaneously raising their prices. On the last few visits, I experienced things such as burnt eggs, rubbery sausage, wilted lettuce and stale bread....to which I felt robbed based on the price of the meal. Panera used to always have "fresh" ingredients and now everything seems to be reheated. I won't be returning anytime soon as there are too many other options in the area offering better food for a better price. read more

Terrible, the cashier sold us food, then had to be reminded they were out, then we had to do substitutes and got less food for the same price. As we went to wait I heard them say another thing was missing, I figured it was after ours. (Running out of food wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't obvious he already knew and was told many times before hand and the bickering between the employees.) This is only the 2nd time I've ate at Panera, the first one the food was beyond fantastic... This one they changed my grilled cheese to two floppy tiny sandwiches. (They didn't even tell us about that switch.) and the Mac tasted bad, I didn't even think that was possible! My dads panini was inedible... He eats next to anything. Also with both of our orders we got 1 bag of chips. I really hope more Paneras are like the first one, but because of this I'll probably just choose McDonalds over this junk, it's terrible but at least reliable. read more

I keep giving this restaurant the benefit of the doubt. I just moved to NWA and love Panera, but this location is not that great. Yeah, I'm trying to be nice. But everytime we go we spend (1-3 hours there), trash is overflowing (and it's not even busy), service sucks (it sits on the counter a while before they bring it), floors and bathrooms are filthy (maybe they get cleaned once a week from the looks of them.) I love the Paerna concept and menu but this management could really use some professional development classes or something. I just feel 'ick' and 'eh' when I'm there. If I said it was one of the healthiest places to eat lunch in NW Arkansas would you still give it a try? It's also one of the best. I wish the cafeteria in the office building I work in had food this good and this appropriate. I would recommend the bacon turkey bravo, the ham and swiss on rye, the mozarella tomato, and the iced tea. The con is that it can get really crowded with a long line between noon and 1 PM. My biggest complaint is that they are habitually out of many products; I don't even know why they offer cookies on their menu because they NEVER seem to have any. If you order to-go, make sure you check your order before you leave.
