Acquaint little hole in the wall type of simple old school, breakfast and brunch style restaurant with a simplistic, but warm design and good food. The omelettes that they offer are absolutely to die for. The service is professional, and they are always on top of their game. To my knowledge, I've never once had a bad experience at this place. My only complaint really is their relatively short operating hours. But that being said that doesn't take away from the simple fact that the food is good. The service is lovely and overall the area word is located isn't too bad. The only real downside is not with the restaurant itself, but the outlet mall that it is located in. It's not in a bad part of town or anything, but because of the whole thing with Covid and all that stuff several businesses when bust within that outlet mall and the majority of the empty. So the restaurant feels lonely from the outside. you are in the Burlington area and you're willing to try something different for breakfast or you can't really go wrong with this place. Prices are relatively good for the quality of food. Like I said staff are always very polite. And if you have a physical disability like you're in a wheelchair or something, it's not easy, but they can find ways to accommodate you. All in all a solid 4.5 out of five. read more

This restaurant is a little off the beaten path in a strip mall area that doesn't have very many businesses or retailers anymore. However, it's a classic diner and serves some good solid breakfast. Just what you would expect from a restaurant like this. They were decently busy and the food came out reasonably quick. I have waited years to come here and unfortunately this will be my last time coming. My family has been excitedly planning to come on a Saturday or Sunday for the prime rib breakfast. It's on the menu as served on Saturday and Sunday all day. I have dietary restrictions but this fit perfectly for me! We ordered two orders of the prime rib breakfast and waited close to 10 minutes before the very nice server came back and asked how we wanted it cooked. 5 minutes later he came out with 2 menus and said it's not available because it's not written on the specials board. How is it a special if it's on the menu? I ended up with a ham and cheese omelette which is what I cook myself every single morning. The food was fine but because my meals have to be planned out, I will not be back because I can't rely on any part of their menu. Had been up north and we stopped on the way back to Tacoma for breakfast. Looked on Yelp which led us to this little place located in the Outlet Mall in Burlington. Small place and not crowded when we arrived about 10:00 the Monday before Christmas. Seated right away and given menus and our drink order taken. As time went on more and more folks came in, some seemed to be regulars, and I did feel badly for the lone server who kept going with a smile on her face. Huge assortment of both breakfast and lunch items. They close in the early evening. Noticed that you could have lunch instead of breakfast if you wanted. They had four choices of eggs Benedict which is my husbands favorite and he said there were good, not great but good. I opted for the classic breakfast which consisted of two eggs, bacon, ham or sausage, hash browns and choice of toast, muffin or biscuit. When our orders came, the server dropped off Hubs meal and my biscuit and said she'd made a mistake on the eggs and would be right back, they were fixing new ones right away. Totally disappointed in the biscuit. Not sure what I'd call it but it wasn't a biscuit. More like a roll with a biscuit texture. Got four strips of bacon, and a huge portion of slightly greasy has browns. I had the veggie benedict and it was amazing, perfect portions and perfectly cooked veggies! My cousin is also vegetarian but didn't want the veggies and her benedict was equally amazing. Since we always look for a new breakfast place, we judge by ordering eggs Benedict and chicken fried steak and eggs. The orange juice was good, the mimosa was good, the fruit and toast were good. But the main entrees were seriously bland. Like no taste at all. Gravy that was probably not made from scratch and hollandaise sauce that had no lemon flavor. Also as sometimes happens I could taste dish water in a bite or two. Why does that happen? Even the eggs were bland no matter how much pepper I added. Came here and ordered take out/curbside pickup. My interaction with staff was good and they were friendly. So if you are covid cautious, this place does have the option for curbside pickup. I purchased the club house sandwich and found that it was a decent size like any other place but the sandwich was very dry. Luckily I happen to have some ranch which saved my sandwich for me from another nearby fast food location. The country fried steak portion was alright and I felt it could have been a bigger piece. The gravy for the country fried steak wasn't too bad but nothing to rave about. I would come back to this place and maybe try some other items. My wife found this in yelp today so we figured we would give it a try. We got seated right away and ordered our drinks first. Not one time did they come by to refill my wife's water and they walked by my table twice asking people if they wanted a coffee refill. Not me once. My wife ordered the Monte Cristo and she said it was ok but had never had it served with syrup before. I ordered the country fried steak with sausage gravy. We waited 40min for our meal and when it came out they gave me regular gravy instead of the sausage gravy I had asked for. The hash browns and eggs were typical and the country fried steak was super thin and absolutely flavorless. I ate two bites of it and stopped there. When my wife was done we had to wait another 15min to pay and that's only because my wife walked up to the counter. Bland food and waitresses were very un-attentive, we will never go back. read more
