The staff preparing the food behind the counter were so caring and helpful. They made sure your order was correct and received timely. They would even look for you to deliver your food, if you missed the call out. The young lady doing the cleaning of the tables was quick, proficient and friendly. If you've ever been to a Panera Bread, you know the décor -- timeless, familiar, and pretty much unchanged for as long as I can remember. I've always liked Panera, which makes it disappointing to have to leave a three-star review. The service was polite and professional from ordering to pickup, so no complaints there. The issue was the sandwich -- the Spicy Steak Asiago Bagel Stack. The picture on the menu didn't come close to reality. As for the taste, I was hungry, so I managed to eat about half, but it was a struggle. The coffee here is AMAZING. The sip club is totally worth it. Also, so far the food has been great, but I've only tried a few of the bagels and two different cookies. This location, of the three we've tried, has been the best so far, and here's why: EVERY employee at this shop was so friendly, the service was great all around. Made our morning, for real. The place was clean, and the noise level was low, even though the place was fairly full. The parking was easy and plentiful. But the sandwich had a small amount of sauce and was pretty unhealthy looking. Luckily, I also had a small cup of soup for dinner. For the price this sandwich was not as advertised. Luckily, I have located West Coast Sourdough off of Coleman Ave. My future business will be going to that business. They offer Fresh ingredients and Gluten Free options. Every time I come to this Campbell location I am always greeted at the door. Everyone genuinely seems to love working here and they have a lot of regulars in the mornings, which is very sweet/cute to see the food is always well prepared and properly! Wifey went to Panera for me today for the first time and ordered a steak and cheese sandwich. The bread was really good but $10.99 + tax the sandwich was a complete and total letdown!!! Why do you ask? Well my sandwich had 3 small slices of steak on each half of my sandwich, no joke 1/2 my sandwich was just 3 or 4 sprigs of onions and horseradish, if I wanted a horseradish sandwich fir $10.99 I would have ordered one. It's a total shame that they feel they need to charge $10.98 + tax and give you nothing in return. Save your money one go somewhere else. Dear Panera, If you have a grilled cheese on your menu, you better make it a Panera quality grilled cheese. You certainly charged Panera price for it. Well, what I received was two pieces of bread with American cheese that wasn't even melted. The bread was very soft with a one touch of grilled marks. On a scale of 1-10 for grilled, it was a 1. "Flawless Service" I often patronize this restaurant before a day of hiking in the South Bay. I use the online ordering for Rapid Pick-up. The bulk of my visits to Panera's are for breakfast. I realize it is a tougher, busier time at lunch time. Today, just after I parked my car, the nice server was already bringing me my order. I hardly had time to turn off the ignition before they were there with my order! In all of my visits to this restaurant, it has been absolutely flawless service. Honestly, they have not made even one mistake on any of my orders. (And no, I am not the owner's brother-in-law.) Over the years, Panera's Restaurant has become my go-to restaurant for breakfast. They have a good selection of breakfast items at reasonable prices. You get a special bonus after each 6 or 7 visits. Also, they have unlimited free coffee when you sign up for their coffee special. Of course, during the crisis, the dining room is closed, but the restrooms are still open. Here's a secret tip, so don't tell anyone else. Panera's is offering 20% discount on gift cards online. I've ordered these myself many times. So if you're a regular customer, take advantage. I don't think you can get that offer in the stores. read more

We have been here innumerable times - maybe even 50 times over the last 4 years. The food here is consistently good. Our usuals are a cup of tomato soup, a bowl of broccoli cheddar (nice creamy texture) and he gets his turkey sandwich with bacon and avo. During the times when there is a long line, they have 4 iPad kiosks where you can order the meal. WHY I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. This is the only review you need about this location. (Poor curbside pickup, forgetting product, ignores dietary restrictions, HAIR IN FOOD) Panera Bread is easily one of my favorite chains, mostly because of the consistency in fresh food for a solid price. I've been to this location roughly 6 times in the past year, and around the second time and beyond, things had gone downhill. 1. 'Curbside Pickup Option'- With the pandemic beginning, they offer a curbside option where you can receive food in your car. There had been two occasions where I had been sitting there for an hour, and people had walked in and out delivering food to everyone else but my car. I had to ask directly, even though we were clearly in a 'curbside pickup' parking (they include signs) and they FINALLY brought it out. This was super disappointing, and I was super patient - this defeated the entire purpose of ordering ASAP and having the food be ready. 2. 'Customize Your Salad Option' (via App) As someone with dietary restrictions, I've been used this option elsewhere at Panera with no difficulty, but for some reason this location continued to disappoint me. I have spent $4 on additional toppings and had left with a salad with only cheese (excluded onions, cucumbers, avocado, apple chips). ONLY CHEESE AND SPINACH. The disappointment I felt opening my salad, but already driven home, was unbelievable. On top of that , I do my best to tip generously during this time, so easily, overspent a great deal of money for a below average salad. Imagine spending extra money on a salad and not getting ANY of those toppings, and not even the extra ones that are free. I also have my phone number in the contact info, and have never ONCE been called to ask if a substitution was okay, or if I could be refunded for lack of options. Instead , this location chose to put a salad in a bag knowing that it was not as ordered, and figured because I was a curbside order, no one would suffer any consequences. This is disrespectful as a customer, and creates a breach of trust especially. I have had this happen a few times, and I TRIED to overlook it, but it had been too frequent that it's either a running gag here, or they really don't care about their customers. So much for having the option of adding or subtracting ingredients- it doesn't matter to this location, you'll get what you get. 3. Forgetting Items Again, curbside doesn't just forget ingredients , they forget food too! I've come to this location, have had cookies missing, bread missing, it feels like this location absolutely doesn't care about being honest, and upfront with their products- giving Panera a bad name. I had hoped this location would improve or maybe they had a hard day, so this review has had a long time coming. Giving second, third, even fourth chances wasn't enough- I tried to give those location my business and support despite what they had done in the past, and they continued to clearly disrespect that. 5. LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST - HAIR IN MY FOOD. Yes, you read that correctly, yesterday I went in to order and purchased a salad and it felt like the FIRST time in the past year, my order was as ordered. Food was all there, ingredients in the salad okay- seemed golden. I got home, and felt like the redemption after a long dry spell filled with anguish and overspending on a salad that underperformed had come to an end. Wrong. as I started pouring my sauces and mixing my salad up, I found a shorter dark hair underneath my leaves and onions- absolutely disgusted. With the current state of the world and pandemic, the last thing anyone wants to see is a hair in their salad; appetite diminished- salad had to be disposed of. How unbelievable is that? They wear hats, but no hair nets, and if they saw it fall in, they didn't care. Again, bottom line- this location DOES NOT CARE. You can go home, assuming, trusting, and excited, but be left in disbelief about where you just came from. How many times did I let this location pull a fast one? Too many. Will I return again? No, and I hope if you're reading this, you take my advice that there are other Panera's that haven't had this many strikes. Truly, utterly, disgusted. This was the straw that broke the camels back- or hair that ended my business at this location. Proceed with caution here. read more
