I have never seen worse customer service in my life. We came in around 12 to have a quick lunch today and ordered at the kiosk, I put in my phone number and because my partner was still making up their mind I used the other kiosk put in the same number and ordered my food (2 orders with the same number). I get the text that mine was ready so I walk up to get it, the woman at the counter just pushes the bag my way and leaves, i ordered a meal that comes with a drink so I asked if mine had a drink with it. She rolls her eyes at me and says "you're supposed to ask for it" in the snarkiest way possible. And when I walked up to get my partners order as well the same woman kept twlling her colleague that "she already got her order its not her order" in spanish while I'm actively showing the receipt and telling her that I had 2 orders. They kept me waiting another 10 minutes for an order that was just sitting on the counter. I had ordered a char,Char chicken and a BBQ chicken salad for my spouse One problem NO FORKS -are you kidding me???? The order came up and he offered me a spoon to eat a salad? I asked for a refund and he said (now this was was the manager on duty) and he said he needed the last four numbers of my credit card for an e mail to complete the refund? I am extremely disappointed with my experience. The steak sandwich was completely dry and unpalatable, to the point where I had to discard more than half of it. Additionally, the milkshakes were incredibly watery and overly sweet. Furthermore, the employees were cursing in Spanish. As a Spanish speaker myself, I understood everything they were saying, and the vulgar language made me feel highly uncomfortable. I think the alluring smell of charbroil burgers on the outside is what enticed my dad to check this place out, but unfortunately didn't really get that charbroil taste from burgers. I had a genuinely AWFUL experience at Habit Burger, and it had nothing to do with just the food. While waiting for our order, one of the kitchen staff started speaking in Spanish to a coworker, clearly assuming I wouldn't understand. He made inappropriate and disrespectful comments about me and my husband, including assumptions about our age difference. It was rude, unprofessional, and honestly pretty disgusting behavior to engage in right in front of customers. Here's the thing: I do understand Spanish. When I turned around and addressed it, the employee immediately walked off to the back instead of taking accountability. That tells you everything you need to know. On top of that, the food didn't redeem the experience. The burger was overcooked, dry, and the bread tasted stale. So even if the service had been decent, the quality wasn't there. IF YOURE GOING TO TALK SMACK AT LEAST MAKE A DECENT BURGER. Basic rule of life: don't talk about customers like they're invisible, especially right in front of them. We order Habit a lot and the main reason is that it is consistent, quality is still really good and we appreciate the options on the menu - lots of variety for the whole family, including some pretty tasty salad options! I think the hardest thing is the actual cost - but if you go to McDonalds for a family of 3-4, you are paying $50-$60 - for maybe $15 more, you are getting MUCH better quality ingredients and fresher food, which is worth every dollar to me and my family. We won't eat beef so we always fall back to the crispy chicken meal for him and we both feel the coating is way more than it should be. We visited this location of habit burger grill and loved it! Location was great, restaurant was clean and welcoming. Staff was really friendly! We ordered fries, side salad, and 2 veggie burgers. Veggie burgers were delicious. Fries were also good! You get to order at front then they give you a buzzer that gets activated when your food is ready. Our food got ready within 10 mins. They have pickles and ketchup counter so you can go and pick it up in small containers if you like. Baby seat is easily available thus making eating here easier. Habit Burger & Grill is never a miss for me, this is my first time coming to the Campbell location and I'd definitely return. This is the most calm Habit location i've ever been to. The dining area is big and not crowded and the tables and booths were kept clean. Employees are also very nice, we walked in and were immediately greeted which is something that doesn't happen very often when you go to a fast food place. Very fast service as well, I got a charburger meal while my wife got their new garlic parmesan club and they both came out in less than 10 minutes. Fresh and hot. They have Pepsi products, lots of different teas, and 2 aguas Fresca. The hamburgers (1 cheeseburger and 1 with grilled onions) were good, but nothing special. Went to the Habit Campbell location on Saturday after not going for awhile. They now want you to order from a kiosk. So we see the picture of the charburger with cheese and order a double char and single char combo like we always do. We get our order and there is no cheese on the burgers. I go back and look at the kiosk and see that to the right is a button to add cheese for an extra $1.10. We used to come here for the quality and value, both have gone downhill. The burgers are much smaller than they used to be and what used to cost us $26 earlier this year for two combos is now $36! So basically a double char combo with cheese will cost you $17 bucks! No thanks. I can get a better burger for the same price or less at Kirks Steakburgers down the street or downtown at 6th Street Burger. We won't be coming back. read more

Difference between night and day! I went to Habit couple months ago in the evening, and the staff was not friendly and the food was absolutely terrible. We ended up throwing it away. I was worried about going back but decided to try it again today with a friend, for lunch, and what a difference! The lettuce wrapped burger was delicious. The lettuce was crisp, and the burger was cooked perfectly. There were many people there, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. It was a great ambience. All the tables were cleaned quickly and the condiments and napkins area was clean. The staff was very friendly, and when I picked up my order, the gentleman that gave it to me was especially nice. I love using their app to order ahead it really saves me time, especially during lunch rushes when I can just pick up without waiting in line. I had a really disappointing experience at this Habit location on S. Bascom Ave. I placed an online order at 7:05 PM with a quoted ready time of 7:15 PM. I sat directly in front of the counter the entire time and didn't get a text notification until 7:35--and didn't receive my food until 7:40. What made it worse is that I saw multiple people walk in, order at the register, and get their food before me. There were several bags piling up on the counter, including one placed there at 7:10 that likely was mine. No one called out order numbers or checked to see whose food had been sitting. I asked about my order (#6185), and the worker just said, "Oh, my bad bruh," while avoiding eye contact--clearly realizing they messed up. By the time I got home, all the food was cold. Even the fries that were requested "extra crispy" were soggy, and one of the ranch cups had a puffed lid, which was concerning. I submitted a complaint through their official contact form and email, but haven't heard back at all. Poor service, cold food, and no accountability. Really disappointing. read more

Listen, it's taken many grievances I've previous let slide for me to finally write this review. While the food has been fine, there is someone in that restaurant who is awful to receive service from. If you're missing anything in your order, that guy automatically doesn't believe you and rifles through your food only to find out you weren't in fact lying and reluctantly gives you the food you paid for. No apologies just throws it in the bag like it's your fault for not just leaving without it. Oh and someone should let him know that if you're going to charge people for sauces (this includes the ones that come with certain meals like oh I dunno SALAD DRESSING FOR SALAD), then paid for sauces better be in the bag. I've come to really enjoy the avocado burger here at the Habit Burger. It comes with 2 beef patties, cheese, tomato, lettuce, and fresh avocado on sourdough bread. Really tasty and pretty consistent the past few times I've ordered it. One thing I wish they did was use square patties instead of small circle patties that don't fully fill out the sourdough bread. So you're munching down on beefless bites around the sides. I usually just ordered the sandwich, but this time decided to also get the fries. Boy was I sure disappointed! It was a tiny little tray that was just barely filled to the top of the tray :-( For $4 an order, this was a heck no, not again! Potatoes are a cheap starch. Just received my delivery ordered and it is such a disappointment. This used to be a go to for a consistently great salad but the revamped salad menu is awful. Lettuce, soggy.
