This is the BEST Jersey Mike's location I have been to. They are all great but this one is the BEST! All of the staff are genuinely happy and friendly and work efficiently to make a high quality delicious sandwich. You can tell they all like working here. The manger Vika does an outstanding job and I can tell that she leads her team by example by working hard with the team behind the counter. During the lunch rushes the team works quickly with ease to keep the flow of customers going out the door. The restaurant is clean as well which I appreciate. Overall Vika and her team should be recognized by Jersey Mike's corporate for their genuine friendly customer service, their ability to work effectively through rushes, and the high quality sandwiches they produce. Whatever you do, do not order on the app. You are their lowest priority. Everyone here is working the line even when there's only a few people in line. 1 guy does the app orders. Asks your name & says "it'll be a few minutes " this has been going on for 40 minutes. I could've gone through the line 20x in the time I've been waiting. Literally the worst experience I've ever had with any place ordering ahead. Terrible. About 5 minutes later, I got my food. They made mistakes on it. But the other day my job had me down in the Los Gatos area, and I happen to stop at the Downing Shopping Center. I decided to go in and checkout the Jersey Mike's restaurant. It's a casual dining restaurant, with modern decor. The place wasn't busy, but they were working on online orders. The young man politely asked for my order. I ordered something simple, the #17 "Mike's Famous Philly, " on white & regular size. Price $10.90. As the young man worked on my order, I asked him...."what's the difference between this place and Subway Sandwiches?" He quickly replied...."we use fresher ingredients." He told me the veggies are chopped onsite, and the meat for my sandwich will come right off the grill. He wasn't kidding! I saw the grill cook scoop up the meat, slap it on the bun, wrap it up and hand it to me. It doesn't get any fresher than that. It wasn't the biggest cheese steak sandwich I ever had, but it was hot and delicious! There is no substitute for hot, juicy and savory.....fresh off the grill flavor. I've been to plenty of Jersey Mike's locations throughout California and unless they really do me dirty, it's almost always 4-5 stars for me. Prices are reasonable for delicious sandwiches, especially for a chain. I usually get #13 The Original Italian and I love it every time. You get 5 different types of meat, and I like getting my sandwich Mike's Way with pickles, mayo, and honey mustard. Usually the employees are dealing with online orders too, so I understand the wait. Stopped by the Los Gatos location and it was crowded inside, so I went outside to eat--only to find there are no tables or chairs at all. I ended up sitting on a bench with my sandwich on my lap or I suppose I could have eaten in my car. This is a decent spot for sandwiches, but it's a chain and the lunch rush is pretty chaotic here. The poor guy manning the register also has to pack subs and answer to all the pick up orders, which led to lots of customers standing around waiting for the employee to available. It looked like they were severely understaffed for the crowd they get, so management probably needs to do a better job here. I ordered 2 items online - 1 wrap and 1 bowl (so no assembly even needed) and was quoted a 30 minute wait time online. Once I got to the store (well after the 30 minute mark, and after was finally able to ask for my order), I was told it was not yet ready so had to wait further. Definitely super slow speed here for order-aheads for such a simple meal. The food tasted fine, albeit thrown together a bit haphazardly and the wrap was super small compared to the sandwich size, but ultimately, it was the wait time that ruined it for me. Ordering from a fast food place, I kind of expect food to be ready quickly, but that didn't happen here. I saw other folks who clearly had to wait additional time for their online orders as well. Might come back and order a sandwich when the craving hits next time, but definitely avoid lunch rush. read more

I haven't tried Jersey Mike's but have seen some locations pop up here and there in the bay area. I was craving a sandwich and saw they were on Doordash so decided to give them a shot. I ordered a ham and provolone cold sandwich on white bread and my friend ordered a veggie sandwich. When I saw their toppings I wasn't sure I'd like the red wine vinegar and almost took it off but I'm really glad I left it on, it was really delicious and complimented the sandwich really well. On the app you can remove or add toppings, I added mayo and mustard and everything tasted really good. I also thought the sandwich size, regular, was good for the price. One thing I like about their sandwich rolls is that they are crunchy yet soft on the inside and it wasn't super dense, just the right amount. I prefer sandwich rolls that aren't dense. 2 things. My wife went in to pick up our order. There was one girl that wasn't busy and instead of handing the ready order to my wife, she pretended to be busy and didn't hand my wife the order. I asked for oil n vinegar on the side and we asked for extra as well. The girl gave us 2 and there was none in the bag or on the sandwhich. Needless to say, did not have enough for all the sandwhiches and they were dry. Not happy at all with this experience. This isn't the first time they DO NOT read the instructions on the order. Went here at 12:00 today. I've been to many Jersey Mike's, but this one is terrible. Ordered a Cali sub in a tub and the guy started with a small amount of lettuce and moved on to the next step, but I asked for more lettuce and he said the next guy will add. They continued making it, but I asked the big guy with long curly hair to stop and put more lettuce under and he reluctantly did and he was physically pissed and shaking his head in discust. I've been here several times and the staff is attentive and friendly. They smile and interact with the customer from placing the order to checkout. My husband and I came here for our first time after both receiving a free regular sandwich coupon from donating blood. We came for an early lunch and we just beat the crowd. Parking is pretty easy though as they share a large parking lot. We were quickly greeted by the people behind the counter which helped us make up our mind on the sandwiches. We both ordered our sandwiches on their delicious parmesan bread. I was surprised with how fresh the ingredients are; they slice the meat and cheese right in front of you and the produce tastes great. I ordered the sandwich Mike's Way PLUS everything else that was free so my sandwich ended up being huge. Luckily I have a huge appetite so I ate it all and thoroughly enjoyed it. Every now and then I get sandwich cravings. I love a good deli sandwich, so I thought I would check out Jersey Mike's Subs while I was working in the area. I ordered a regular sized turkey sandwich with the works. As I'm going through the line, I notice that they have a pepper spread like those you would see on Italian deli sandwiches on the east coast, so I asked for those, jalapenos and pepperoncini's. Just give me all the peppers. My sandwich came out really quickly and I was on my way back to work. I intended on eating only half and saving the other for later, but my sandwich was too good to be saved. It was really good. I haven't been to a Jersey Mikes since before the pandemic! I ordered the #3 Ham and Provolone on white bread, with their recommended style. They're very generous with their portions for the price. The sandwich was pretty dang tasty. My only "complaint" (but not really) is that the bread got soggy real quick from the olive oil vinegar blend.
